Detailed Description
Build
Crafted for strength and confidence, the build starts with a hand-laid solid fiberglass hull whose first three laminate layers are infused with vinylester resin for superior osmotic protection. The deck, deckhouse, and flybridge are also hand-laid fiberglass, cored with high-strength Divinycell for stiffness without added weight. The hull-to-deck joint is through-bolted every 6", sealed with 3M 5200, and then glassed over with three layers of fiberglass for a permanent bond. A comprehensive system of longitudinal and transverse stringers increases rigidity, the rub rail is finished with a solid stainless-steel trim, and the integral swim platform completes a clean, functional profile.
Interior finish
The interior is finished in Cherry wood (Makore), accented by select burl wood inlays that add warmth and character. Burl wood appears again on tabletop and countertop surfaces in chosen areas, while removable padded soft vinyl headliners provide a refined, quiet ambience throughout. Discreet rope lighting highlights key zones, and the salon and galley are fitted with Hunter Douglas mini blinds for crisp light control and privacy.
Flybridge
The flybridge centers on a molded FRP helm console with complete engine instrumentation, hydraulic steering and hydraulic engine controls, all set off by a stainless-steel wheel. Entertaining comes naturally with a U-Line refrigerator/freezer, a wet bar with sink, generous seating with integrated storage, and a durable FRP table. A folding FRP radar arch streamlines overhead clearance, while a Plexiglass venturi with stainless-steel frame deflects breeze and spray to keep the helm comfortable underway.
Pilothouse
Twin stainless-steel, aircraft-style pilothouse doors on port and starboard offer quick, confident side-deck access. The helm is anchored by a Pompanette Platinum Series seat on a stainless pedestal, with hydraulic steering, hydraulic engine controls, a custom wheel, and frameless windows enhancing sightlines. Practical touches include three windshield wipers with washers, a hardwood sole, and an interior stairway with a stainless-steel hatch leading up to the flybridge. A built-in settee with a pull-out section converts to an extra berth, served by a hi-lo table topped in redwood burl for flexible dining and watchstanding.
Galley
A well-planned galley features a Corian countertop with a large sink, a full-size 14.6 cu ft refrigerator/freezer, and a three-burner electric stove/oven, complemented by a microwave and a trash compactor. A quality single-lever faucet and a 12V exhaust blower make daily use easy, stainless overlays match the refrigerator on the cabinet faces for a cohesive look, overhead halogen lights offer variable intensity, and a GFI outlet provides added safety.
Salon
The salon welcomes you with a 42" LCD TV on an electric lift and a Bose surround sound system, balanced by a starboard built-in L-settee and a starboard hi-lo table with burl inlay for dining or lounging. Two leather-upholstered seats to port provide additional conversation space, while a decorative redwood burl overhead treatment adds subtle richness. Stainless-steel sliding doors and stainless-steel salon windows frame the view, a dedicated cabinet organizes the entertainment system, and both a U-Line ice maker and a wet bar keep refreshments close at hand.
Staterooms
The master stateroom features an island queen berth with storage beneath, a 15" LCD TV with a dedicated TV/stereo cabinet, rope lighting, and a refined redwood burl overhead treatment. Forward, the VIP also offers an island queen berth, while hanging lockers with automatic lighting, and a vanity with mirror and light, ensure guests enjoy the same thoughtful comforts as the owners.
Heads
Both heads are appointed with molded showers fitted with round shower doors, durable Corian countertops, and premium Grohe faucets at the sinks and showers. Two Sealand Vacu-Flush toilets provide reliable sanitation, and a 75-gallon holding tank with macerator pump serves both dockside and overboard discharge as configured.
Electronics
Navigation and communication are handled by a Raymarine depth sounder, a Raymarine E120 radar/GPS with overlay and repeater, a NavTec plotter, a navigation computer with wired remote, a Raymarine autopilot, a VHF Icom M604, and a TracVision satellite TV dome to keep entertainment streaming wherever you roam.
General equipment
Comfort and control are enhanced by the Wesmar RS400 stabilizer system, a 10 HP bow thruster, and reverse-cycle air conditioning with zones rated at 16K, 16K, and 12K BTU. Ground tackle is managed by a Maxwell VWC 2200 lbs windlass with three-station controls, while an engine synchronizer, a central vacuum, and a six-station intercom simplify life aboard. A washer/dryer combo and trim tabs add everyday utility, with washdown connections on both forward and aft decks, plus a dockside water pressure hookup. Hardware throughout uses 316-grade stainless steel for mooring cleats, chocks, the anchor roller, handrails, stanchions, and portholes. A hardtop flybridge with full enclosure extends the season, an AB RIB with cover and a 30 hp Honda sits ready on electric davits aft on the dinghy deck, and everything is arranged for straightforward operation by a cruising couple.
Electrical system
Power management is comprehensive, with a complete AC/DC breaker and distribution panel, a Kohler 15.5 kW/60 Hz generator with sound shield showing 2,800 hours, and a Xantrex inverter with a Link 2000 remote panel. Shore power is handled by a 75' Glendinning Cablemaster, with a shore power selection switch, plus a battery selection switch. Charging is covered by a 50 Amp charger for engine and generator batteries and a 30 Amp charger for the bow thruster and windlass banks. The house system uses five 12V/200 Amp heavy-duty marine batteries in boxes, with two 12V/200 Amp batteries for engine starting, two 12V/200 Amp for windlass and bow thruster, and one 12V/120 Amp for generator starting. Quality AC and DC lighting runs throughout, 120V outlets are well distributed, wiring is color-coded for serviceability, and an AFI electric air horn stands ready to signal.
Engine room
Service access and reliability start with twin Cummins 6CTA8.3 engines rated at 480 HP each, breathing through an underwater exhaust system with a bypass to the transom and turning stainless-steel shafts on four-blade precision propellers. Dripless shaft seals, fiberglass exhaust mufflers, and extensive lead-foam sound insulation—including extra insulation on the engine room bulkhead—keep vibration and noise in check, aided by dedicated engine room blowers and both AC and DC lighting. Systems are robust and orderly: stainless-steel water tanks, FRP fuel tanks totaling two at 400 gallons with an additional optional 200-gallon tank, Racor Dual 1000 FG fuel filters for each engine, S/S rudders and rudder posts, and FRP diamond-plate soles for footing. Plumbing uses pressurized fresh water with a 20-gallon stainless water heater and heat exchanger, seacocks and sea strainers on engine raw-water intakes, Rule automatic bilge pumps, and a holding tank with macerator plumbed for deckside or overboard discharge. Color-coded copper fuel, water, and hydraulic lines simplify maintenance, a Karman TV camera in the engine room feeds a monitor at the helm, an engine oil change system speeds service, a fire extinguisher stands by, a fresh-water outlet is provided, and a Kohler 15.5 kW generator with 2800 hours and Westmar stabilizers round out the machinery space.
Cockpit
The cockpit invites easy living with a cushioned settee over practical storage, two transom doors for flexible boarding, and an electric-lift cockpit hatch that gives direct access to the engine room via a ladder. A stainless-steel swim ladder and a hot and cold shower make time at anchor effortless, while a Cable Master shore power reel and stern helm controls add convenience when docking or maneuvering in tight quarters.
