Detailed Description
Accommodations
The master stateroom is beautifully appointed and impressively spacious, featuring a separate dressing room and a fully refreshed, supremely comfortable décor that invites effortless relaxation. Midship, the guest stateroom offers twin berths with a nightstand between, complemented by an abundance of drawer space and generous hanging lockers to keep belongings perfectly organized for extended cruising.
Galley
The galley has been beautifully remodeled throughout to elevate both form and function. Corian countertops and a matching dinette table set a refined tone, while refinished cabinetry with new thermofoil doors delivers a crisp, modern look. Premium appliances include an Amana 32" refrigerator/freezer with top-load access, a Whirlpool four-burner cooktop paired with a self-cleaning oven, and a Whirlpool overhead built-in microwave oven, complemented by a Frigidaire dishwasher and an Insinkerator heavy-duty garbage disposal. Durable vinyl wallcoverings enhance longevity and ease of care, and fresh-water shutoff valves have been thoughtfully installed for added peace of mind.
Flybridge
The flybridge presents a fiberglass hardtop with radar arch for clean lines and robust protection, anchored by a new Stratoglass three-side enclosure with U-zips added in 2022 and custom aluminum handrails fitted beneath the hardtop. At the helm, two cushioned Pompanette seats face a covered station, while a hinged, fold-down mast crowns the structure. A full U-shaped seating area provides abundant storage below, fresh cushions from 2023, and protective covers. Entertainment and utility are equally considered, with four speakers powering a dedicated Fusion bridge audio system (2020), two icemakers integrated into a custom fiberglass bar unit with cover, and a Garmin GPS installed in 2020. A 2006 Flexboat tender measuring 14' with a 60 HP four-stroke engine is handled with ease by an 1100 lb. davit.
Pilothouse
The pilothouse is comprehensively equipped for confident navigation, featuring dual Furuno NavNet systems with 72-mile radar, GPS, chartplotter, sounder, sea-temperature monitoring, and a closed-circuit cockpit camera. A Garmin autopilot installed in 2020 enhances passage-making ease, while a SIMRAD IS-12 windspeed indicator, ICOM ICM-402 VHF radio, and a Ritchie compass round out a capable, professional-grade helm.
Engine and mechanical equipment
Mechanically maintained to a high standard, the main engines have been thoroughly serviced to date and are complemented by a chrome package that is now due for renewal. Power is transmitted through Twin Disc 2.5:1 MG514C gearboxes, breathing via Walker Air-Seps, with complete mechanical engine gauges and tachometers installed in the engine rooms for precise monitoring. An oil-change system serves the main engines, while onboard climate control is delivered by a reverse-cycle air-conditioning system across 7 zones with a dedicated condensation drainage system. Safety is addressed by an automatic/manual CO2 fire-control system that has been completely recertified and kept current, plus a suite of individual handheld fire extinguishers—both large and smaller units—replaced with new, certified equipment. Fuel management includes dual Racor 1000 filters on the main engines and Diesel Tech magnets integrated into all filtration and polishing systems, augmented by an additional 500 gallons of fuel capacity beneath the cockpit. Reliability and handling are further enhanced by new exhaust risers fitted in 2023, Bennett trim tabs, Glendinning engine synchronizers, a fresh-water cooling system, and an engine alarm with emergency stop. Two bilge blowers, Hynautic hydraulic steering, raw-water sea strainers, and engine fuel shut-off/selector valves add confidence, while a new electric holding-tank pump-out and four bilge pumps—both manual and automatic—provide robust serviceability. Power generation comes from a Northlights generator with approximately 2,700 hours (to be verified) and an Onan generator with approximately 3,200 hours (to be verified).
Remarks
Junkanoo has returned to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is easy to show on short notice—an inviting opportunity to step aboard and appreciate her upgrades firsthand.
