Overview
Crafted by the esteemed French builder JFA Yachts and penned by Marc Lombard, 4 EVER is a 23.7m Long Island 78 power catamaran created for luxurious, long-range cruising. Marrying the volume and composure of a multihull with impressive efficiency and true transatlantic range, she suits owners seeking extended voyages without compromising comfort, style or performance.
Her light yet resilient build pairs aluminium hulls with composite decks and superstructure, yielding superb strength, stability and seakeeping. Driven by twin 500 hp Cummins diesels, 4 EVER settles into a serene 10-knot cruise and can top out at 18 knots. Her economical hull form, ample fuel reserves and comprehensive onboard systems create a capable platform for reaching far-flung shores and undertaking lengthy crossings. The main deck unfolds with a bright, generous saloon, a refined dining space, a fully equipped galley and a dedicated nav station. Conceived by Franck Darnet, the interior blends pale oak with deeper tones for a warm, contemporary mood. Expansive windows flood the spaces with natural light and sweeping views, while the yacht’s broad beam unlocks living areas rarely seen on a yacht of this size.
4 EVER welcomes eight guests in four restful cabins, featuring a roomy owner’s suite plus three additional guest staterooms. Open-air living is equally compelling, with a wide aft cockpit for alfresco meals, a vast flybridge with an enclosed wheelhouse, and a forward lounge crowned by a seawater jacuzzi. A lifting platform carries a tender up to 4.6 metres and doubles as an easy launch pad to the sea.
Built to exacting standards of safety, craftsmanship and operational reliability, 4 EVER stands out as a French-built luxury motor catamaran of remarkable volume and genuine bluewater capability, presenting a superb opportunity for adventurous ownership.
Detailed Description
Equipment
Equipped to inspire confidence offshore, this yacht integrates a comprehensive suite of B&G electronics anchored by AIS, GPS, radar with radar detector, a sophisticated plotter and navigation center with an onboard computer, a log-speedometer, depthsounder, wind speed and direction sensors, and repeaters to ensure critical data is available throughout the vessel. Command is effortless with autopilot, a responsive bow thruster, and VHF communications, complemented by global connectivity via VSAT, Iridium, and onboard Wi‑Fi. Entertainment flows from a radio, CD player, DVD player, and VCR through cockpit speakers to the interior, where a central TV set is joined by flat‑screen TVs in all cabins. Comfort on long passages is enhanced by a 285 L/h watermaker, while the compass remains the timeless reference at the helm.
Inside equipment
On board, every detail is considered for effortless cruising, beginning with air conditioning and hot water complemented by Aire Pulsée (GO) forced-air heating, while an air compressor, bow thruster, and a dependable battery charger enhance capability and control. Daily life is refined by a fully equipped galley featuring a microwave oven, an oven, a refrigerator, a deep freezer, and a dishwasher, with a dedicated wine cellar to keep vintages perfectly stored. Fresh-water autonomy is ensured by two water makers rated at 280 L/h with 230 h, and reliability at sea is further supported by both electric and manual bilge pumps alongside a sea water pump. Comfort continues with an electric head and the convenience of a washing machine, and productivity finds its place on board with a thoughtfully arranged office.
Outside equipment
On deck, comfort meets capability with plush cockpit cushions surrounding a versatile cockpit table, while a cockpit shower stands ready after a swim. A hydraulic bathing platform complemented by a hydraulic swim step extends the sea-level playground, and access is effortless via the hydraulic gangway. Launching and handling are simplified by the hydraulic winch, a swimming ladder invites spontaneous dips, and safety is underscored by a liferaft. The teak cockpit in flexiteak and teak sidedecks in flexiteak deliver warmth and grip underfoot, shaded by covers including a bimini top, while a surf system adds watersports excitement. Power independence comes from a solar panel capacity of 3700 watt. Outboard engine brackets are fitted, and the tender is a five-meter SEMIRIGISE with a 100 HP Yamaha, all capped by the indulgence of a Jacuzzi for serene relaxation after an active day on the water.
