Overview

$200,000 price reduction—now offered at $999,000 (6/29/2026). This striking offshore walkaround sportfisherman is powered by 2023 quad Mercury 350 outboards showing approximately 370 hours, backed by Platinum extended engine warranties through spring 2030. Built to a premium standard by Jim Smith Tournament Boats in Stuart, Florida, her cold-molded hull reflects true pedigree craftsmanship. She blends high style with serious capability, featuring a diesel generator, a spacious bridge deck with updated A/C, a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer, bow thruster, a newer KVH TV5 satellite dome, and a fresh EZ2CY enclosure complemented by Canvas Designers cushions and a full bow sun lounge. Lift-kept and meticulously maintained, she boasts a teak cockpit and teak cover boards, mezzanine seating with a rocket launcher, a faux-painted toe rail, and safe, full walkaround non-skid decks. A custom hardtop expands transport flexibility, and a fitted tow eye even invites consideration as a superyacht tender for bluewater adventures. This boat presents beautifully with notable 2023 upgrades, underscoring her tournament-ready appeal as a luxury sportfishing yacht. Seller may consider select center console trade proposals.

Detailed Description

Overview and accommodations

The one and only 43-foot Jim Smith Tournament Boats walk-around, recently upgraded and now unexpectedly available, presents a comfortable bridge deck with A/C and new Canvas Designer cushions on a ladderback bench helm seat, complemented by a second lounge seat forward of the helm. Cabin entry is via a sliding panel door forward to port.

Five steps down, the cabin reveals satin-finished teak cabinetry that is both attractive and beautifully executed. The starboard-side galley is appointed with a bullnose Corian countertop, while forward a V-shaped seating lounge surrounds a teak table that lowers and converts to a berth area with a filler cushion. Just aft to port is the full head with a separate shower stall, its vanity top matching the galley for a cohesive look. Moving aft, a separate cabin offers good-sized twin berths, and the main cabin TV is positioned above this cabin’s door. The cabin sole is Amtico laminate teak and holly.

Kept on a boatlift, she benefited in the summer of 2023 from four new 350 hp white Mercury Verados with Platinum warranty coverage.

Bridge deck

Encased by a 2023 three-quarter enclosure by Canvas Designers—its forward three panels crafted in EZ-2-CY and the side panels in soft clears with U-Zips—the bridge deck offers teak decking underfoot and a command center built around a varnished teak helm pod with a Mercury control binnacle on a teak mounting. An upright electronics console houses three 16-inch Garmin screens safeguarded by three sliding clear Lexan panels, with a magnetic compass mounted on top, while opening cabinets to either side of the helm pod carry neatly installed instruments. Climate is assured by bridge deck air conditioning.

The helm seating is a versatile bench-cabinet with a removable white ladderback, new Canvas Designers cushions, and a fold-down aluminum footrest; the cabinet is accessed from the cockpit and provides proper tackle drawers and generous storage. Forward of the helm console, a lounge seat with new cushions conceals two stainless-lined, insulated, refrigerated boxes that can be set as freezers if desired, and beneath these boxes a small opening step-up is ideal for shoe storage or general items.

Electronics, navigation, and entertainment

Command and situational awareness are anchored by three Garmin 7616 multi-function GPS/chartplotters, a Garmin GMR 2526 xHD2 open six-foot array radar with bird mode, and a Garmin GSD Chirp recording Echosounder paired to an Airmar B275LH wide CHIRP transducer. Weather and routing intelligence come via the Garmin GXM52 Sirius Weather module, while the Garmin GHP Reactor Autopilot with SmartPump and GHC 20 control delivers precise course-keeping. Communications are handled by two Standard Horizon Matrix-series GX2000 VHF radios with Comrod four-foot antennas, complemented by a Ritchie PowerDamp five-inch magnetic compass and the GOST NavTracker 1.0 for added security. Night operations benefit from an ACR RCL-100D remote control spotlight. Entertainment at sea is equally robust, centered on a 2023 KVH Track-Vision 5 SAT TV antenna feeding a Direct TV H24 HD Sat TV receiver, and a Fusion BB300R marine stereo with AM/FM, Bluetooth, and SAT capability driving a JL Audio MHD 600 amplifier. Sound is delivered through two JL Audio M770 speakers in the cockpit and two JL Audio 6.5-inch speakers on the bridgedeck.

Cabin and galley

From the bridge deck, a tinted glass, white aluminum-framed sliding door opens to five teak steps leading down into the cabin, where beautifully satin-varnished teak cabinetry and wainscoting create a warm, refined ambiance. To the right, the galley features Corian countertops with a bullnose curved edge, a Dometic CR-0110S 3.35 cubic foot under-counter refrigerator, an LG stainless steel-front microwave oven housed within the cabinetry, a Blanco stainless steel single-basin undermounted sink, and a Moen faucet with a removable spray nozzle head, all set over Amtico teak and holly laminate flooring, with teak drawer and cabinet storage and a trash can tucked beneath the sink. Forward, a V-shaped settee with blue upholstered cushions surrounds a teak triangular table that lowers to create an additional berth with a filler insert. To port, a door opens to the head, while aft a stateroom with twin berths is complemented by a Samsung flat-panel TV mounted aft above the door.

Stateroom

The stateroom is set aft within the cabin and entered through a teak-framed entryway. Twin bunk berths provide comfortable accommodation with practical storage beneath, while a teak nightstand between them cleverly doubles as the cover for the Seakeeper gyro. The space is appointed with Amtico teak-and-holly laminated flooring, and finely crafted teak cabinetry runs outboard to either side of the berths and across the aft bulkhead. A Samsung flat-panel TV, new in 2023, is mounted on the forward bulkhead ahead of the portside berth.

Head

The head is appointed with Amtico teak and holly laminate flooring and entered through a hinged teak door secured by a magnetic opening keeper. A Corian vanity top with backsplash is paired with an oval Kohler Caxton undermount ceramic sink and a brushed nickel Moen faucet, set beneath a large teak-framed mirror and complemented by teak cabinetry offering both drawer and door storage. A separate white-painted shower compartment features a molded seat and a shower wand fixture, while practical touches such as a 110-volt outlet and an exhaust fan enhance everyday usability, and a Headhunter freshwater head delivers dependable operation.

Fishing equipment

Purpose-built for serious angling, this vessel is outfitted with Rupp Top Gun Z-30 radial outriggers paired with eighteen-foot silver single-spreader poles, currently stored off the boat, and underdeck fishboxes to keep the catch organized. A transom livewell with light and a fish box stands ready for live bait management, while two 12 V outlets for electric reels are thoughtfully positioned under the gunwale. At the cockpit center, a teak six-rod rocket launcher is mounted on a four-inch chrome stanchion, complemented by six rod holders flush-mounted in the coverboards and two rod holders on each rear hardtop support. Tackle storage is neatly concealed inside cabinet doors on the aft side of the helm bench seat and within the mezzanine seat backrest.

Cockpit

The teak cockpit, finished with elegant rounded teak coverboards, sets a refined tone while delivering robust capability. Fresh and saltwater washdown spigots stand ready for quick cleanups, and beneath deck an Eskimo crushed ice machine feeds the fishbox to keep the day’s catch perfectly chilled. Stainless scupper drains at the aft cockpit corners ensure rapid drainage, while a three-sided canvas fly cover offers welcome protection from the elements. Two Lumitec cockpit spreader lights are cleanly molded into the hardtop to flood the work area with crisp illumination. An aft-facing cushioned lounge seat forms a comfortable mezzanine, and beneath this aft lounge a hatch opens to the machinery space housing the generator, battery chargers, pumps, and water heater. Thoughtful storage compartments sit to either side beneath the steps to the bridge deck, and a dockside power 50-amp inlet plug provides reliable shore power connectivity.

Hull and deck equipment

Crafted with cold-molded hull construction, the yacht features a hull bottom by Donald Blount for proven performance and seakeeping. Precise low-speed control comes from a Wesmar DC bow thruster with a 9-inch tunnel, with a new bow thruster being installed on 10-1-2024, while Humphree x-series Interceptor blades with an auto-trim controller maintain optimal running attitude. At the bow, a stainless-steel towing eye pairs with a Lewmar electric windlass feeding a stainless pulpit chute and a polished chrome anchor, complemented by an anchor locker on the foredeck. The walk-around decks are finished in non-skid paint and framed by a faux-teak painted toe rail for a clean, contemporary look.

Forward, a 2023 Canvas Designers sun-lounge crowns the deckhouse, tailored with Bentley stitching and an attached headrest pillow; the entire cushion is protected by a fitted, zippered, water-resistant cover when not in use and includes a dedicated cutout for the forward deck hatch. Practical detailing includes eight stainless-steel cleats with recessed back plates, six of which are pop-up style, an Armstrong dive ladder with an attachment bracket at the transom, and a white single-trumpet air horn mounted on the hardtop.

Electrical equipment

This yacht’s electrical system is engineered for reliability and ease, beginning with 50amp 240v dockside shore power served by a 50 foot cord and a Cablemaster cord winder for effortless handling. Independent power comes from a Kohler M-9EK02D 8.5kW generator housed in a sound shield enclosure, while the main electrical panel inside the cabin integrates 120v/240v AC and 24v DC circuit breakers with voltmeters and amp meters, complemented by 12V DC switches positioned aft beneath the helm seat. Energy storage is provided by six AMG PC1200T batteries equipped with radial shutoff switches, supported by a Mastervolt battery charger and a Guest ChargePro battery maintainer to keep the system at peak readiness. Safety and comfort details include an audible high water bilge alarm, LED lighting throughout the cabin, cockpit, bridgedeck, and utility space, two Lumishore underwater lights that enhance the yacht’s presence after dusk, and a Raritan 6.5 gallon hot water heater for reliable onboard hot water.

Engines and mechanical equipment

Power comes from quad white Mercury 350hp Verado outboards, new in 2023 and showing approximately 370 hours, backed by a Mercury Platinum engine warranty with coverage into Spring 2030. Engine management is via a Mercury Marine Smartcraft Vessel View 703 display with separate start/stop switches, complemented by Mercury Marine spin-on fuel filters and a Mercury digital throttle and shift control binnacle. For stability, a Seakeeper 6 gyrostabilizer, installed new in 2020, delivers remarkable comfort with its control panel in the cabin below the main electrical, while SeaStar power steering ensures effortless handling. Fuel is carried in four aluminum tanks with fills on port and starboard, plumbed with Aeroquip CG approved fuel lines, and safety is enhanced by an automatic fire suppression system bottle in the utility/generator room. The freshwater system features a freshwater washdown water pump, a Headhunter 110V fresh water system pump, and a two-gallon Jabsco accumulator pressure tank. Bilge management is robust with two Rule 2500 automatic bilge pumps aft and two Rule 2500 automatic bilge pumps forward. Climate control includes two self-contained FCF 12k BTU A/C systems and a Dometic self-contained bridge deck A/C system, while bronze underwater thru-hull seacocks attest to thoughtful, durable engineering.
