Detailed Description
Specification and list or installed options
As a luxury power catamaran, multihull motor yacht and true flybridge yacht designed for blue‑water cruising, this Moon 60 Power is specified with a five‑cabin, five‑head layout and a central galley, comprising an owner’s suite, a VIP suite, and three guest cabins, each with its own private bathroom. Crew accommodation includes a forepeak cabin for one with a single berth, a head with shower, dedicated storage and deck‑hatch access, as well as an aft crew cabin for two with a bunk bed, a head with shower, storage and direct entry from the aft cockpit.
The hull, superstructure and flybridge are finished in white gelcoat with a contrasting black window line; side decks, the aft cockpit and the flybridge are laid in natural teak, and the saloon is fitted with glass windows in place of plexiglass. Interior Style C brings premium HPL joinery in curated colors, quartz walls in the bathrooms and quartz countertops, side panels and ceilings upholstered in synthetic leather and Alcantara in special hues, natural leather accents, an illuminated wall at the bar island and illuminated wardrobe interiors. A glass skylight in the saloon ceiling with an electric blind floods the space with light, while the floors are upgraded to natural wood parquet in lieu of vinyl.
Upholstery throughout features fabric sofas and settees, with complete exterior cushion sets for the forward cockpit, the flybridge and the aft cockpit, plus additional cushions dedicated to the forward cockpit. A set of ten decorative pillows dresses the flybridge, and another set of ten serves the cockpit and foredeck. External protective covers safeguard the navigation station, tables, all cushions and the bar island.
Propulsion comes from upgraded twin three‑hundred‑and‑twenty horsepower Volvo engines with joystick control, supported by an electric‑induction bow thruster, water‑in‑fuel sensors on the fuel filters and a fuel transfer system between tanks for balanced trim and range.
Deck gear includes a three‑thousand‑watt electric windlass, a sixty‑three‑kilogram Delta anchor with one hundred and twenty meters of galvanized chain, fixed mooring cleats, and a swimming ladder with hot‑and‑cold deck shower to starboard. A hydraulic platform carries a tender up to seven hundred kilograms, a Seabob rack holds two units, and stainless‑steel handrails provide secure movement on the flybridge.
Electrical systems are centered on a premium Lithium LiFePO4 battery pack of twenty kilowatt‑hours with two 24V/8000W/200A charger/inverters supplying all yacht systems, an additional thirty‑two‑amp shore connection, two additional one‑hundred‑amp battery chargers, a power‑management system and generator auto‑start capability. Capacity extends with a further twenty kilowatt‑hours of LiFePO4 batteries. Shore‑power is upgraded to handle multi‑voltage and weak supply from ninety to two‑hundred‑and‑sixty volts AC and forty‑five to sixty‑five hertz with shore‑current monitoring, and, with isolation transformers, connections are upgraded to sixty‑three amps. US‑type outlets in the galley and cabins are fed by a dedicated 120V/60Hz five‑thousand‑watt inverter. A 22.5 kW generator with a semi‑automatic generator/shore changeover keeps power seamless. USB sockets are fitted in the cabins and saloon, and inductive mobile‑phone chargers are installed—two in each cabin, one at the navigation station and one at the helm. Solar panels mounted on the laminated hard top support quiet, sustainable autonomy at anchor.
Plumbing is equally robust: two three‑hundred‑and‑thirty‑liter black‑water tanks with a dedicated rinsing system; upgraded one‑thousand‑three‑hundred‑liter fresh‑water tanks; one four‑hundred‑liter grey‑water tank; a freshwater shore inlet with automatic tank refilling; high‑water‑level alarm; additional bilge pumps midships and in both forepeaks; a supplementary double, independent bilge‑pump arrangement; an electric pump with hose in the engine room for rapid dewatering; a 230V watermaker producing two‑hundred‑and‑twenty liters per hour; a high‑pressure deck‑wash pump; and an overflow/leak alarm on the tank cover.
Lighting sets the mood and enhances safety with LED navigation and deck lights, LED ceiling lighting throughout the interior and in the aft cockpit, an Interior Ambience Pack with indirect illumination in the saloon and cabins, and an Exterior Ambience Pack with indirect lighting in the aft cockpit, skirts, side decks, forward cockpit and deck, and across the flybridge. One RGBW underwater light adds a dramatic glow at night, and dimmers regulate interior and cockpit lighting levels.
Comfort on board is ensured by mechanical ventilation in the cabins and in the bilges, a 220V chiller‑based air‑conditioning system rated at one hundred thousand BTU, and additional air‑conditioning for the port‑side crew cabin/forepeak. Entertainment is delivered by JL AUDIO Audio Pack 3: a radio/USB/Bluetooth head unit with, in the saloon, four speakers and one subwoofer; on the flybridge, four speakers and two subwoofers; in the aft cockpit, four speakers and one subwoofer; and in the forward cockpit, four speakers and one subwoofer, with Luxe Grille exterior speakers painted to match the hull/deck. An additional audio control at the helm lets you fine‑tune sound underway.
The galley is fitted for effortless hosting with an additional 190‑liter refrigerator and a 59‑liter freezer, an upgraded electric oven with microwave function, an ice maker serving the galley/saloon, a wine cooler, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer combination, plus an extra shelf in the under‑floor locker in the lounge for organized stowage. In the saloon, a dining table, a coffee table, one dining chair, manual blinds on the side windows and main door, and a sixty‑five‑inch TV with sound bar create a relaxed, versatile living area. In the cabins, manual side‑window blinds ensure privacy and shade. The aft cockpit features a fixed dining table for easy al fresco meals.
Up top, the flybridge is crowned by a laminated hard top with integrated lights and arranged with two coffee tables, a bar with sink and lockers, a dedicated refrigerator, an ice maker, and an electric BBQ; a lift‑mounted sixty‑five‑inch TV elevates open‑air movie nights. Forward, a removable sun enclosure transforms the bow lounge into a shaded retreat.
Navigation and electronics are comprehensive: a log/depth/wind suite (Raymarine selectable), one twelve‑inch chart plotter and one sixteen‑inch chart plotter, a 4.1‑inch i70S instrument, autopilot, AIS transceiver, VHF with dual stations at the navigation desk and helm, radar, a SMART BOAT system, two docking cameras, a terrestrial TV antenna, and worldwide 5G/LTE Wi‑Fi with modem, router and antenna, plus an air horn for clear signaling.
Safety equipment includes a complete rescue package with life‑rafts for twelve persons, EPIRB and SART. Commissioning items cover launching, antifouling with epoxy primer plus Propspeed and Lightspeed, four mooring lines and eight inflatable fenders with protective socks—everything ready for you to cast off in confidence.
