Detailed Description
A truly rare find in today's
Step aboard FIVE STAR and the appeal of this luxury motor yacht is immediate. If you embark via the completely rebuilt hydraulic swim platform, the mirror-like Imron finish from twenty twenty-one reflects your arrival. Three teak-clad steps to port bring you into the heart of the social zone, where new designer cockpit upholstery invites relaxed seating or sunbathing; the generous U‑shaped lounge quickly converts into a wide sun pad. Entertaining is effortless on this express cruiser and sport yacht thanks to a well-placed wet bar with built-in ice maker, sink, and a refrigerator all within easy reach. New cushions and custom covers from twenty twenty-one include fresh protection for the windshield and the foredeck “bunny pad,” while a new icemaker assembly tray from twenty twenty complements a Vitrifigo icemaker from twenty sixteen and a Norcold NE751BB refrigerator from twenty eighteen. All exterior stainless was professionally detailed in twenty twenty-two, JL Audio speakers on the aft deck were added in twenty twenty, the cockpit is laid in teak, and there is an aft deck storage locker accessible directly from the swim platform, a deck shower, and a newly installed fresh-water bib from twenty twenty-one.
The center section of the aft settee lifts to reveal safe, user-friendly steps leading down to the laundry room, a spare storeroom, and the engine room. Outboard on both sides you will find ample stowage, along with a separate washer and dryer. A watertight door forward takes you into an immaculate machinery space housing two wonderfully mannered Caterpillar powerplants. Back on deck, a pair of highly polished stainless-steel framed glass doors slide and nest, uniting the aft cockpit with the inside salon and helm deck to create one seamless entertaining space under the hardtop—signature coupe styling with superyacht poise.
In the upper salon and helm deck, the fun continues. A new forty-four‑inch Samsung TV from twenty twenty-one, Polk soundbar from the same year, and new internal speakers set the mood for easy evenings. To starboard, an L‑shaped settee faces a handsome table with burl accents, while to port the entertainment center is finished in high-gloss cherry. Ultra-leather seating, new designer drapes, and new carpet—both from twenty twenty-one—play beautifully with abundant natural light from large side windows and the full-width pilothouse windshield; wiper blades were renewed in twenty twenty-one, complementing new windshield wipers added in twenty twenty. Because FIVE STAR handles like a sports car, she wears an opening convertible sunroof with a screen that retracts at the touch of a button, and the center pane of the windshield is power‑operated for fresh air at your fingertips. One step up from the bridge deck salon, the helm places the captain in a custom adjustable chair to starboard, with a forward-facing ultra‑leather companion bench so your favorite people can ride up front. The stainless‑steel tilt wheel, drink holders, and a full suite of controls—Bennett trim tabs, remote spotlight, and Vetus bow thruster—keep command intuitive and confident.
Electronics are comprehensive and current: a Ritchie compass and Simrad autopilot pair with a Garmin open‑array forty‑eight‑inch xHD2 radar, one Garmin GPSMAP 7616 xsv and one Garmin GPSMAP 7612 xsv display. Both displays provide fully duplicated functionality for chart plotting, radar, and the integrated camera system. Communications and depth are covered by a Raymarine VHF with speaker and a Raymarine ST60 depth sounder. A Freddy automatic engine shutdown override and a Jabsco spotlight round out the package, and both the upper and lower salons benefit from new forty‑four‑inch Samsung TVs installed in twenty twenty-one.
Descend three steps to the lower salon and galley, arranged for true cruising life aboard. The galley runs along the port side with smart storage, while wrap‑around ultra‑leather seating to starboard surrounds a large teak high‑low table raised and lowered by wall switch. Equipment is robust: Sub‑Zero under‑counter refrigerator and freezer both received new seals in twenty twenty; a Panasonic convection microwave bakes and broils; an AEG four‑burner ceramic cooktop, Walvac 542 central vacuum system, a double stainless‑steel sink, Avonite counters, recessed LED lighting, teak flooring, garbage disposal, and two Lucite glass-and-bottle cabinets make meal prep easy. Light pours down through a deck hatch skylight, and side windows with custom drapes from twenty twenty-one extend the bright, airy feel. A decorative etched‑glass mermaid room divider adds a bespoke touch. Entertainment continues with a new forty‑four‑inch Samsung TV from twenty twenty-one and Bose surround sound, while carpeted flooring with runners softens footsteps. There is direct access to the day head, and climate is handled by A/C controls renewed in twenty twenty-one.
FIVE STAR offers two en‑suite staterooms for private comfort on extended cruises. Aft of the lower salon, the master suite features a centerline queen berth topped with memory foam, elegant custom designer bedspreads, linens, and drapes all new in twenty twenty-one. Storage is excellent with two cedar‑lined hanging lockers, exquisitely varnished cherry cabinetry, two cherry nightstands with drawers, a mirrored headboard, a mirrored vanity with storage, and even a well‑placed overhead access panel for upper helm electronics. The master head is en‑suite and beautifully appointed, with a walk‑in shower behind a glass door, Avonite counters, a mirrored vanity and mirrored ceiling, marble floor tiles, a built‑in dispenser for soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and a Raritan head. Forward, the VIP en‑suite welcomes guests with overhead hatches and screens for natural light and airflow, custom drapes, custom linens and bedspread from twenty twenty-one, a memory foam mattress topper from twenty twenty, a Sharp flat‑screen TV, A/C controls from twenty twenty-one, recessed and accent lighting upgraded to LED in twenty twenty-one, private head entry, book shelves, and reading lights. The VIP head mirrors the master in quality with a Raritan head, walk‑in shower with glass door, mirrored vanity, Avonite counters, marble floor tiles, and organized storage.
Her electrical system is designed for serious cruising: fifty‑amp two‑hundred‑fifty/one‑hundred‑twenty‑five‑volt shore power with a seventy‑foot Glendenning power cord, a shore‑power isolation transformer and galvanic isolator, and an eleven‑and‑a‑half‑kilowatt Onan generator showing three thousand one hundred sixty hours. Both twelve‑volt and one‑hundred‑twenty/two‑hundred‑forty‑volt panels are aboard. House power is handled by three 8D Lifeline GPL‑4DA batteries with new lugs fitted in twenty twenty, while engine starts are entrusted to two 4D Interstate GPL‑4SA batteries also from twenty twenty. A Victrone Energy Multiplus 12v/3000VA/120 Amp charger/inverter was added in twenty twenty, and all lighting across the yacht was converted to LED the same year, with dimmers in the salons and the master stateroom.
In the lazarette you will find an LG washer model WM1355H and a Whirlpool dryer, a boarding ladder that’s a small work of art in teak and stainless steel, the hydraulic power‑pack for the swim platform, a throwing ring with lanyard, fenders and covers from twenty twenty-one, ship’s spares, and a Sea Water Pro forty‑gph watermaker installed in twenty twenty. Mechanical systems are equally thorough: two Caterpillar C12 engines rated at seven hundred horsepower with two thousand two hundred eighty hours (port 9HP00858 and starboard 9HP00865) drive through ZF V‑Drive transmissions, model ZF 3215V with a 2.037:1 ratio. Service and reliability are prioritized with an X CHANGER MODEL 950 G oil change system, two‑and‑a‑half‑inch stainless‑steel shafts, Michigan Wheel Ptops four‑blade 31 x 38 propellers, dripless shaft seals by Tide, a Vetus twenty‑four‑volt bow thruster, Bennett trim tabs, and Racor fuel filtration—500 for the generator and 1000 for the mains. The hydraulic swim platform is rated for seven hundred fifty pounds. Reverse‑cycle Marine Air conditioning uses two compact chiller units at twenty‑four‑thousand BTU each for a total of forty‑eight‑thousand BTU, feeding five air handlers with new filters. Hot water comes from a twenty‑gallon Torrid Marine stainless‑steel heater from twenty fourteen, and domestic pressure is supplied by a FLOTEC pump at sixty psi and one‑hundred‑twenty volts. Two RARITAN ATLANTES toilets discharge to a one‑hundred‑ten‑gallon holding tank with pump‑out and diaphragm discharge pump. Safety and finishing details include a Fireboy automatic fire‑suppression system, DeAngelos Marine Exhaust, and a Glendenning cable master.
From her teak‑soled cockpit to her convertible sunroof and duplicative Garmin navigation, FIVE STAR blends Dutch‑inspired craftsmanship with modern upgrades to deliver a turnkey, owner‑friendly luxury motor yacht—an elegant sport cruiser and express coupe that invites spontaneous weekends and confident passages. Come see how easily your next chapter on the water begins.
List of upgrades made to five star late 2020 until now
From late twenty twenty to the present, FIVE STAR has benefited from a deep, methodical program of upgrades that enhances both presentation and reliability. The yacht received a full Imron repaint: hull sides in base color Five Star Gray using Imron 18100 with Imron MS1 clear coat, a superstructure finished in Imron MS602 Matterhorn White, a boot stripe in Excel Pro CAE 172 Yellow, and nonskid in Alexseal Matterhorn White T9123. Running gear was sanded and painted with Petit Spray, shaft zincs on the swim platform and shafts were replaced, and the bow thruster had its oil and zinc renewed. The bottom was fully sanded and coated with two coats of Sea Hawk Tropicoat Black. House and engine‑start batteries were replaced using two 4D Interstate GPL‑4DA for engine starts and three 8D Lifeline GPL‑4DA for house service, with all cable lugs renewed. Propellers were serviced by Domineys, tuned to Class One, polished, and balanced; all cutlass bearings were replaced. A new Lewmar V‑4 twenty‑four‑volt windlass was installed, along with a fresh‑water bib in the cockpit. Main engine impellers, zincs, and belts were replaced, and a new thru‑hull was added for the watermaker. LOF service was performed on the port transmission and the filter on the starboard transmission; the main engines and generator were descaled, and new coolant was flushed in and replaced on both mains and genset. New Walker Air Sep #401195 units were installed, and the genset received a new water pump. Fresh gelcoat was applied inside the lockers, the cockpit gained new cushions, and new covers were added for seats, the windshield, and the bunny pad. Windshield wipers were replaced, pilothouse carpet renewed, and custom window treatments fitted throughout the yacht. Both upper and lower salon TVs were replaced along with the radio and all interior and exterior speakers. LOF on the main engines was completed at two thousand one hundred fifty‑four hours (port) and two thousand one hundred sixty hours (starboard), and the generator LOF was performed at three thousand one hundred nineteen hours. Primary and secondary furl filters on both main engines and the genset were replaced, one hundred fifty feet of rope was added to the anchor chain, five handheld fire extinguishers were replaced, and the Halon system was re‑certified. Door seals on the Sub‑Zero refrigerator and freezer were renewed, the ice cube assembly on the aft deck ice maker was replaced, and the raw‑water side of the air‑conditioning system was flushed. All five air‑handler filters were replaced, along with three A/C touch controls, three A/C control modules, and one blower motor in the lower salon. A new Sea Water Pro forty‑GPH watermaker was installed, together with a new inverter/charger. The entire engine room and lazarette were detailed, all bilges cleaned, stainless polished, and the hydraulic swim platform was completely rebuilt including pistons. Finally, every system was proven and the vessel was given an extremely thorough cleaning in preparation for sale—resulting in a turnkey luxury motor yacht and express cruiser that shows with confidence.
