Overview
Delivered in 2006, M/Y GINGER is an immaculately kept Pershing 115 high-performance motor yacht that exemplifies the brand’s open-class prowess. Fresh from a comprehensive refit at Dunya Yachts in Turkey, she benefits from a thorough suite of enhancements, including a full repaint of hull and superstructure, all-new exterior cushions and deck furnishings, transom underwater illumination, new carpeting throughout, refreshed interior upholstery and leatherwork, and a state-of-the-art entertainment and AV/IT installation. Her main engines, auxiliaries, and related systems were completely overhauled, presenting a rare opportunity to acquire a fully updated version of this sought-after performance superyacht.
She preserves the signature Pershing DNA—an arrow-straight profile, generous deck spaces, and a contemporary interior—now paired with upgraded navionics and a thrilling 38-knot top speed. From the sociable aft cockpit to the expansive foredeck sunpads, designed to provide privacy alongside the quay and a cooling breeze at anchor, M/Y GINGER has been conceived for effortless alfresco living. The sun deck offers four fixed loungers for dedicated relaxation, while a bespoke teak dining table on the aft deck sets the tone for open-air entertaining. For more intimate occasions, the foredeck dining nook supplies extra seating with sweeping views over the bow, enhancing her credentials as a Mediterranean-ready sports yacht.
Inside, the main saloon is configured with a comfortable portside sofa set opposite iconic Eames chairs to starboard. Materials are elevated and tactile: oak sole boards underfoot, a black horsehair headliner, grey sycamore blinds, and refined carbon-fibre accents. A large television is integrated within a forward partition, beyond which lies the helm, keeping the wheelhouse discreetly separated from the guest lounge. Below, the secondary saloon has been reimagined as a dedicated media and cinema lounge, highlighted by a woven-leather aft bulkhead and natural-fibre carpeting for an indulgent, acoustic-friendly ambiance. Amidships, the full-beam owner’s suite features his-and-hers bathrooms, generous seating areas, and a premium AV package, while tall vertical hull windows flood the space with daylight and frame water-level vistas when underway.
The forward VIP features an angled double berth, a walk-in wardrobe, a curved settee, and an en suite bathroom, offering guests a serene private retreat. A further guest cabin also includes an en suite and is arranged with a standard berth plus a practical Pullman, ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for family cruising or charter-style hosting on this 115-foot planing motor yacht.
All entertainment systems were renewed during the refit. A drop-down 60-inch screen serves the main salon, and the lower cinema lounge is equipped with a 65-inch 3D display. Apple TV is integrated over a Crestron backbone and managed via iPad Minis for intuitive, centralized control. Exterior zones were equally modernized, with new speakers and weather-ready televisions extending the onboard experience outdoors, ideal for gatherings from sunrise workouts to sunset movie nights.
Completing the package, she is offered with a Williams 445 Jet tender. With exhilarating performance, meticulous mechanical works, and a holistic aesthetic refresh, M/Y GINGER stands apart as one of the finest, most turn-key examples of the Pershing 115 performance superyacht available today.
Detailed Description
Upgrades during the 2024 refit
The yacht completed the RINA five-year classification renewal survey, forming the foundation for a comprehensive 2024 refit that elevated her cosmetic finesse, mechanical prowess, and onboard systems to immaculate standards. Exterior finishes now gleam with a full paint job across the hull and superstructure, complemented by a fresh antifouling application on the underwater body. Teak has been replaced where required, new cushion covers and exterior upholstery refresh the open-air living spaces, and new carpets extend throughout the interior. Comfort and privacy were enhanced with new electric curtain and blackout systems and complete fabric replacement, while the master cabin received a new headboard and updated cushion fabrics. Practical refinements include the renewal of all cabinet lock systems and targeted renewal of bathroom fittings where required, and the crew spaces benefit from all-new bedding.
Beneath the surface, the machinery spaces have been meticulously overhauled. The main engines underwent a complete QL4 overhaul, and propulsion assurance was further strengthened with a comprehensive overhaul of the Kamewa water‑jet system. Power generation is now anchored by two new generators, Kohler 55EFOZDJ rated at 55 kW each, while the windlass motors received dedicated maintenance to ensure reliable anchoring performance. Electrical integrity was addressed with full electrical jobs throughout, bringing the vessel’s backbone systems to peak reliability.
Equipment and hotel systems were upgraded with a view to autonomy, safety, and seamless operation. Freshwater capability was bolstered by a new water maker, Idromar MSK 230, together with new water boilers comprising two 80 l units and one 60 l unit, plus a new booster tank of 50 l. The Asea power management system was renewed with a new generator control system, and full deck equipment maintenance—including hydraulics for the aft and starboard gangway, swimming ladder, cranes, and forward garage hatch—was completed. Entertainment was refreshed through maintenance with updated programming, coverage extended by a new 4.5G antenna on the mast, and vigilance enhanced with a new camera system. All navigation systems received maintenance, while a Meger test of electrical systems was carried out under class inspection. Electrical reliability and efficiency were further amplified with all batteries renewed, maintenance of fancoils and control panels with new thermostatic coils, and the installation of new smoke and heat detectors. Lighting has been entirely modernized with LED fixtures, new underwater lighting drivers were fitted, and all electric motors received maintenance. The vessel’s electrical architecture benefited from renewal of all systems’ grounding cables and a thoughtful rearrangement of all power distribution cables. Practical comforts now include new laundry equipment and serviced appliances such as ice makers, wine coolers, and mini‑fridges. Power continuity is assured by two new 3 kW UPS units, one dedicated to the entertainment system and main saloon sliding door and the other to galley equipment. Under class inspection, all pumps were overhauled, all overboard valves were overhauled, and the fuel, fresh water, black water, and grey water tanks were completely cleaned, with seawater washing circuit filters, all gaskets, and nuts renewed. The grey water tanks sounding system was also renewed, completing a refit that brings the yacht to an exemplary standard of performance, safety, and onboard luxury.
