Detailed Description

Overview

A stylish, like-new Pursuit OS 355 with low hours invites you to range far and wide, confidently handling rough seas and charging to a top speed of nearly 44 mph so there’s nowhere you can’t explore. Freshwater moored and meticulously kept, it’s a fisherman’s dream with abundant seating and a generous cockpit that welcomes the whole family aboard. This is a rare opportunity not to be missed, underscored by key highlights that matter: bottom paint applied; all services and maintenance up to date with 343 total hours; freshwater moored provenance; a versatile layout that fluidly transitions from serious angling to relaxed cruising; and the cachet of being one of Pursuit’s most popular models.

Hull

The hull presents in Pursuit fresh white gelcoat over a hand-laminated structure using vinyl ester resin and engineered fabrics, backed by a five-ply, resin-infused composite transom system with a patented transom reinforcement grid. An infused fiberglass structural grid with a molded finish integrates a bilge water management system, complemented by a foam-filled structural grid for strength and quiet. Below the waterline, bronze thru-hull fittings ensure durability, with chrome-over-bronze thru-hulls positioned below the 7 degree heel line and stainless-clad composite fittings above it. A bronze garboard drain, Lenco electric trim tabs with auto-retract, and a 5/8" 316L stainless steel bow eye underscore the quality. Aft, integrated transom platform extensions outboard of the engines and a four-step telescopic boarding ladder housed in the platform make water access effortless. Forward, an integrally molded thru-stem anchor system stands ready. A powerful bow thruster rated at 3.0 HP (2.2 kW) is paired with a Group 31 AGM battery, switch, and fuse. Molded hullside frameless tempered glass windows brighten the interior, a dedicated transducer location optimizes sonar performance, and a forward hull 1100 GPH bilge pump with automatic float switch stands watch.

Deck

The hull-to-deck joint is mechanically fastened with aluminum backing plates at cleat locations, while the rub rail combines high-density PVC with a solid 316L stainless steel insert and a 316L stainless steel transom cap. A molded one-piece deck and cockpit liner features a non-skid pattern underfoot. Forward, a flush-mounted integral anchor locker with fiberglass lid houses a horizontal anchor windlass with a switch at the helm and a remote at the locker, a 316L stainless steel through-stem anchor roller with 8" mooring cleat and chain binder, a 22 lb stainless steel plow-style anchor with self-righting shackle, and a 200' rode of 1/2" 8-plait line including 20' of G4 chain. The cleat package in 316 stainless steel includes two 10" pop-up stern cleats, two 10" fixed spring cleats, and two bow cleats. Molded recessed hatches carry gaskets, 316L stainless latches, and overboard drain tracks, and a molded transom walkthrough with a hinged transom door, 316L latch, and magnetic catch eases movement aft. The cockpit is self-draining with a bronze ball valve at the hull side. A one-piece welded 316L stainless bow rail carries a 1 1/4" top rail with 1" stanchions, complemented by 316L stainless foredeck handrails and port-and-starboard 316L stainless transom grab rails. LED navigation lights shine to two miles. Molded non-skid steps in the splashwell provide athwartship access, and a 17" x 17" flush foredeck hatch with adjuster and screen adds airflow, backed by five opening portlights with screens and stainless frames and pantographic windshield wipers port and starboard with a fresh-water washer system.

Cockpit

Comfort and capability converge with custom cockpit upholstery over Dri-Fast foam and mesh backing, a captain’s chair with swivel base, foldable armrests, fore-and-aft adjustment, and a flip-up bolster, and molded port bridge lounge seating with a large backrest, folding arm, molded footrest, and port articulating armrest. The Pursuit cockpit JL Audio entertainment system delivers with a 12V Bluetooth-compatible stereo head, JL speakers—seven in total, with four in the hardtop, two in the interior, and a subwoofer—driven by an amplifier with a helm remote and external antenna. A molded entertainment center adds a sink with hot/cold mixing faucet, electric grill, cutting board, a 120V outlet with GFI protection, and a hinged fiberglass lid and doors, while molded port and starboard aft-facing seats conceal insulated storage below. A 1.3 cu. ft. bridgedeck refrigerator/freezer with a fiberglass lid keeps provisions chilled. A folding transom seat with a patented adjusting backrest deploys for extra guests. Thoughtful touches abound with three 316L stainless drink holders on the bridge lounge, two acrylic drink holders at the helm, and two 316L stainless holders in the gunwale, plus a cockpit machinery access hatch. At the transom door, a fresh-water wash with hot/cold mixing valve and a chrome-over-brass pull-out sprayer makes cleanup easy, backed by a raw-water outlet in the cockpit with quick-connect fittings and a 25' hose. Night operations benefit from seven LED cockpit accent lights with a waterproof switch, and 316L stainless foredeck grab rails port and starboard enhance safety.

Fishing features

Ready for the bite, the cockpit integrates four stainless-steel rod holders in the gunwale, a lighted Oceana Blue 28-gallon recirculating livewell, and under-gunwale rod storage port and starboard. Insulated fish boxes with diaphragm pumps discharge overboard to port and starboard, a cockpit tackle center keeps gear organized, and an integrated Corian cutting board on the transom completes the angler’s workspace.

Hardtop & windshield

A molded fiberglass hardtop with an integrated visor rides on four powder-coated aft structural supports equipped with rod holders. The custom windshield system features optically clear laminated glass, tempered side glass in an infused fiberglass frame, and an electrically actuated center vent window. A custom stainless ratcheting anchor/stern light with burgee rings and a USA flag tops the rig. Lighting is comprehensive with four tri-color LED lights, indirect lighting over the dash, and an aft-facing spreader light. Safety and ergonomics come via 316L stainless fore/aft underside grab rails and matching topside grab rails, while four integrated stereo speakers enrich the soundstage. Weather protection arrives with 60 mil Strataglass side curtains and a three-piece drop curtain, plus integrated life jacket storage and integrated port and starboard overhead glove boxes. A trumpet horn calls attention, dual ventilation hatches with screens promote airflow, and the fiberglass hardtop carries dedicated radar, antenna, and outrigger locations.

Helm

Command comes easy at a molded fiberglass aft-tilting helm with an instrumentation visor, generous electronics mounting surface, fold-out fiberglass footrest/platform, and safety lanyard. A 316L stainless steering wheel with control knob and a non-slip grip on the Sport Tilt Plus helm pairs with a 12V panel of illuminated Carling rocker switches. Heavy-duty pantographic windshield wipers port and starboard are washer-controlled, and a compass, trim tab control panel with indicator, and a bow thruster joystick keep you precisely on course. Audio is managed by a waterproof JL head unit with a full-function display. Power and connectivity include 2 x 12V outlets and 1 x dual USB charger, with two helm drink holders in the side panel and a helm fire extinguisher for safety. The Yamaha Command Link Plus display integrates the engines at a glance.

Cabin

Enter through a molded acrylic access door with a secondary framed screen door and a 316L stainless locking latch, then descend custom entry steps with a dedicated handrail and wood treads. The molded cabin hull liner carries custom solid-wood tongue-and-groove floor accents, mechanical access, drainage, and sound-damping insulation, mirrored overhead by a molded deck liner with additional sound damping. Climate control is assured by 240V/60 cycle interior air conditioning with reverse-cycle heat and a sound shield, rated at 16,000 BTU. Entertainment arrives via the Pursuit digital media-ready center with a 28" LED TV and a dedicated, amplified TV audio system, supported by 2 x JL Audio stereo speakers. Forward, electrically actuated custom V-berth seating with fixed cushions converts seamlessly into a queen-size berth, served by a solid-wood table on a power-adjustable pedestal and accented by a forward hardwood-framed mirror. Natural light pours through hullside windows port and starboard with accordion-style blinds. Storage abounds with forward gunwale shelves port and starboard, forward outboard compartments port and starboard, and a 7.5 cu. ft. in-floor locker with a solid-wood hatch, plus a cedar-lined hanging locker with an automatic LED light. Ventilation includes a flush-mounted opening foredeck hatch with screen and 3 x 316L stainless opening portlights with screens. The mid-berth features a recessed, wood-framed full-size 6" innerspring mattress with a filler cushion, a mid-berth hanging locker and storage to portside, and horizontal rod storage for 4 x rods. Power points include 1 x 12V outlet and 1 x dual USB charger. Switching is handled by 2 x six-switch panels with an LED floor accent light, 2 x overhead dinette lights, forward reading lights, 2 x overhead galley lights, 1 x dedicated galley surface light, and a table actuator. A CO monitor watches over the space.

Galley

The galley impresses with a Corian countertop and backsplash under LED cabinet surface lighting, a stainless-steel sink with a cutting-board cover, overboard drain, and a stainless-clad composite thru-hull fitting, plus a pressurized hot/cold mixing valve and faucet. Storage is abundant with 3 x lower galley storage cabinets featuring maple drawers, dedicated stowage, and a trash can, a galley pantry locker with storage shelves and hardwood keepers topped by Corian, and upper galley cabinets with doors and a Corian top. Appliances include a 12V 4.6 cu. ft. stainless refrigerator, 2 x 12V LED overhead lights, a 240V dual-burner glass cooktop with touch controls and pop-up pot holders, and a 120V 1.1 cu. ft. stainless-faced microwave oven. Power is provided by 1 x 120V outlet with GFI protection, and a fire extinguisher stands ready. An opening portlight in 316L stainless with a screen promotes ventilation.

Head

The fiberglass enclosed head compartment features a non-skid pattern underfoot and a custom 1 1/4" wood-framed entrance door with a custom latch and a full-length mirror. Appointments include a Corian countertop with a storage cabinet below, a designer sink with a pressurized hot/cold faucet, and a vacuum flush marine head served by a 22-gallon holding tank, macerator discharge pump, stainless steel deck pump-out fitting, and a bronze thru-hull with seacock. A fiberglass toilet seat cover keeps it tidy. A full-height linen closet with shelves and an acrylic bi-fold shower divider organizes essentials. Light and air arrive through a 316L stainless opening portlight with a screen. A vanity storage cabinet with shelves and a vanity mirror, a toilet tissue holder, and a combined grab rail/towel rack add convenience. The shower offers a hot/cold mixing valve, shower wand, and an adjustable-height bar, draining to a shower sump box with an automatic discharge pump. Switching is handled by a 2 x switch panel with overhead LED lights and 1 x LED floor accent light, while 1 x 120V outlet with GFI protection resides inside the upper vanity cabinet.

Electronics

Navigation and control are enhanced by 2 x Garmin touch screen displays, a Garmin radar GMRxHD24" dome, Garmin VHF 210, Garmin autopilot, and an autopilot remote, with a Yamaha gateway for Garmin bridging engine data. The electrical backbone is built to endure with UL rated, fully tinned, color-coded copper wire; custom in-house built, heat-sealed, mechanically crimped, color-coded battery cables; and a custom in-house built, one-piece electrical harness with waterproof connectors and chafe protection. A powder-coated aluminum, screen-printed (front and back) battery switch and breaker panel organizes power, as does a robust bonding system tying together thru-hulls below the waterline, trim tabs, zinc anode, and garboard drain. The six-battery system comprises 1 x port engine, 1 x center engine, 1 x starboard engine, 1 x bow thruster (AGM), and 2 x house (AGM). Shore power arrives via a single 240V 50 Amp 60 cycle dockside connection and a 240V 50 Amp, 50' dockside power cord with a wireless/switch-operated electric cord retract reel, isolated by an isolation transformer. Charging is managed by 1 x 40 Amp charger for house, electronics, and bow thruster batteries, and 1 x 20 Amp charger for engine cranking batteries. A grounding bus bar and an electronics fuse block complete the system.

Mechanical

Beneath the deck, a molded interior white gel coat surrounds a molded hatch with a gasket and stainless gas springs and a molded bilge sump area with a mechanical space access step. Pumping power includes 1 x low-profile 900 GPH bilge pump with an integrated float switch and 1 x 1500 GPH bilge pump with a high-water float switch and alarm, all discharging through stainless-clad composite thru-hull fittings. Fresh water service is via a fresh-water pump with a filter, while raw water is supplied by a raw-water pump with a seacock and thru-hull fitting. Live bait thrives on a livewell cyclone pump with a bronze sea strainer, seacock, and thru-hull fitting. Dedicated fish box diaphragm evacuation pumps keep the boxes clear. Steering authority is assured by a Teleflex power steering pump. Fuel capacity is generous with an EPA-compliant lined 388-gallon rotomolded fuel tank with engine pickups, shutoff valves, a digital level indicator, and deck fuel fill plates, fed by custom-built fuel lines with mechanically crimped fittings. Engines benefit from a Yamaha water-separating fuel filter with a primer bulb for each engine.

Generator

Quiet, reliable ship’s power comes from a 240V/60 cycle 8.0 kW Fischer Panda diesel generator with a sound shield and a service slide, showing 62 hours. It draws from an EPA-compliant lined 24-gallon rotomolded fuel tank with an engine pickup, shutoff valves, digital level indicator, water-separating fuel filter, and a 316L stainless deck fill plate, and the space is protected by a fire suppression system.

Water system

Freshwater independence is ensured by a 50-gallon water tank with a level indicator and a 316L stainless deck fill plate, plumbed with a premium Sea Tech color-coded hose system with mechanically crimped ends. A pressure-sensing variable-speed pump feeds a fresh-water distribution manifold with dedicated valves, while a dockside fresh-water inlet with a pressure regulator simplifies shore connections. Hot water arrives via a 6-gallon stainless steel water heater, 240V/60 cycle, and a cockpit shower with a hot/cold mixing valve extends comfort on deck.

Upgrades

Thoughtful enhancements elevate this OS 355 further: a custom canvas enclosure in black/linen, an upgraded bottom paint package, a folding starboard gunwale seat, and a molded cockpit table with dedicated storage. Electronics are bolstered by a Garmin VHF 210, Garmin autopilot, and an autopilot remote. On deck, 4 x Burnewiin stainless sockets expand versatility, transom rod holders increase capacity, and a Webasto Heater Airtop 55 brings cozy warmth when the season turns.
