Detailed Description
2024 SeaVee 390Z
A tournament‑grade center console with unmistakable SeaVee poise, the 2024 390Z arrives powered by Mercury Verado quad 400 V10 outboards in Standard Black, their thrust balanced by Livorsi high‑performance trim tabs for razor‑fine attitude control. The hull is finished in a custom Whisper Gray from waterline to cap, complemented by a Black/Black‑insert rub rail and a black pipework finish, while the main helm top underside echoes the Whisper Gray accent. Boarding and water access are effortless via the custom SeaVee dive door with integrated pull‑out dive ladder to port, aided by a white powder‑coated grip handle, and the console door opens with smooth pneumatic actuation.
Washdowns are covered both fresh and salt: a freshwater system with hose, nozzle, and a console sink with shower stands alongside a dedicated saltwater washdown. Hardcore fishability is engineered in with a dual‑box fishbox pump‑out strainer system, a Y‑valve for dual fishbox applications, drainage for an additional fishbox with integrated pump‑out strainer, plus insulation and drainage for that additional box including a Y‑valve. Fuel quality is assured by four upgraded Racor fuel/water separators, while visibility and engine data are delivered by a Mercury VesselView 703 7" display and an NMEA 2000 SmartCraft Gateway. Power management includes two extra AGM batteries and a quad‑engine battery charger with galvanic isolator, 30 amp inlet, and a triple‑bank configuration with Echo Charge.
The fiberglass molded hard top is purpose‑built, with 6 rod holders, forward and aft LED spreader lights, and four multicolored LED dome lights. Night runs are illuminated by dual molded‑in LED flood lights facing aft and a Rigid Marine 30" LED light bar forward. Offshore reach is extended by Gemlux Blue Water outrigger bases paired with 22 ft black Gemlux Deluxe carbon fiber poles. At the helm, a 13" Edson wheel with black power knob sits before dual console organizers (port and starboard), a custom flush‑mount console surface with fiberglass modifications, a full half‑panel of black acrylic hosting flush‑mounted MFDs, and a single‑row push‑button switch panel complete with a windlass up/down control. Under‑gunnel lighting glows in multicolors, three SeaBlaze X2 underwater lights bathe the wake in RGBW, and an additional freshwater pull‑out shower head resides on the port side. The electric head includes a holding tank and macerator pump‑out, plus a Y‑valve for direct toilet overboard discharge when permitted. Ground tackle is handled by a windlass anchor system including 300' of rope and chain with switches at the helm and within the anchor compartment, aided by a dedicated windlass camera at the bow, while tight‑quarters control comes courtesy of a bow thruster.
Cockpit hardware is truly comprehensive: two 316 stainless steel rod‑and‑cup holders at 0 degrees, six at 15 degrees, and four at 30 degrees, plus two 30 amp outlet plugs for electric reels with covers and breakers. Forward, molded seating with electric reclining backrests invites relaxation, with pull‑out stowage bins beneath and a bolster upgrade. Entertaining is anchored by a cockpit table with removable pedestal and embedded base. The oversized Captain’s Edition helm seat/prep station partners with a deluxe rear‑facing mezzanine seat featuring a fixed cooler and tackle station side doors. Versatility extends aft with removable L‑shaped seating to port and starboard and a removable center section of the aft seat, while a triple‑headrest/quad‑armrest leaning post holds you firm when seas rise. Protection and comfort add up with a three‑panel polycarbonate glass enclosure in white, coaming bolsters, and non‑standard vinyl tailored to the boat’s aesthetic.
Canvas and shade solutions are equally curated: a two‑piece full boat cover fitted under the rub rail in Cadet Gray, four outboard engine covers in matching Cadet Gray, Bahama Shade for both aft and forward cockpits in white, and an upgrade to four TACO carbon fiber poles for those Bahama shades. A port‑side drawer below the leaning post with square removable inserts organizes tackle and tools with precision. For a sleek, unified look, the radar, VHF, anchor light, and hard top accessories are all finished in black, and bow chocks on the cap are deleted for a clean foredeck.
Electronics are best‑in‑class: a Garmin 424 xHD2 open‑array radar on its pedestal; two Garmin 8617 color GPS plotters with 17" touchscreen displays and card readers; a Garmin GSD 26 network sounder module; and a Garmin CM599LH‑W 2–3 kW CHIRP thru‑hull transducer. Long runs and precision trolling benefit from the Garmin GHP Reactor autopilot with Smart Pump. Sound comes alive via the JL Audio Premium Package with hard top speaker pods using Titanium speakers with Sport grilles; the JL speaker aesthetic is set off by a metallic trim ring and Titanium Sport grille. Communications are crystal clear with one ICOM M400BB black box VHF radio in black paired to an 8' Digital antenna and matching black mount, complemented by a Poly‑Planar VHF external speaker in black. Modern power needs are met with three dual charger sockets offering USB and USB‑C 2.0. Altogether, this 390Z is a meticulously specified, performance‑driven SeaVee that turns every run offshore into a masterclass in speed, control, and comfort.
