Overview
Delivered in 2017 for a seasoned yachtsman, ALADDIN stands as the lowest‑hour Sunseeker 131 Yacht on today’s brokerage stage—a tri-deck superyacht. Kept private from launch, EU VAT settled, impeccably maintained, and scarcely cruised along the French Riviera.
Detailed Description
Main specifications
Built by Sunseeker, the 131 Yacht launched in 2017 and VAT paid measures 40.05 metres (131’ 5”) in length with an 8.09-metre (26’ 7”) beam and a 2.70-metre (8’ 10”) draft. Constructed in GRP and classed by RINA, she flies the Malta flag with Valletta as her port of registry. Accommodation is for twelve guests arranged as one master suite, two VIP suites, and two convertible twin cabins with Pullmans, while a crew of eight is housed in three twin crew cabins and two single cabins. Both exterior and interior design are by Sunseeker. Power comes from twin MTU 12V 4000 M93 engines delivering a maximum speed of 22 knots, a cruising speed of 16 knots, and an economic speed of 12.5 knots. Fuel capacity is 26,700 litres, with fresh water capacity of 4,950 litres.
Key features
Quite possibly the most lightly used Sunseeker 131 on today’s brokerage market, this privately enjoyed yacht benefits from VAT-paid status and a comprehensive suite of upgrades beyond the standard specification. She welcomes up to 12 guests across five exquisitely appointed staterooms comprising a full-beam master suite, two VIP suites, and two convertible twin cabins, while separate quarters are designed for a professional crew of up to eight. Expansive outdoor leisure zones invite open-air relaxation, and her distinctive profile is defined by large floor-to-ceiling windows that bathe the interior in natural light. Comfort is assured both at anchor and underway thanks to stabilizers, while performance is equally compelling with a powerful top speed of 22 knots. The sale includes a full inventory of tenders and water toys, and the yacht is certified as an RYA training center.
Consumption figures
At an economical speed of 12.5 knots, fuel consumption is approximately 260 liters per hour, rising to 540 liters per hour at a comfortable cruising speed of 16 knots, and reaching 1,180 liters per hour at the yacht’s maximum speed of 22 knots.
Colours
A meticulously curated palette defines the yacht, with a white hull complemented by a matching white hull band and a refined grey boot top, while the superstructure continues the crisp white theme. Inside, gloss American walnut cabinetry pairs elegantly with roof linings in Shimmer Polar White. The interior upholstery is finished in Ice, with exterior upholstery in Shingle for a sophisticated contrast. Underfoot, the flooring is Satin Walnut in 140mm wide planks, presented as a considered combination of plank timber and carpet.
Classification upgrades over standard specification
Built to the RINA Rules for the Classification of Yachts Designed for Commercial Use 2013 and compliant with the MCA Large Yacht Code (LY3), this yacht carries the operational class notation PLEASURE VESSEL – RINA: C + HULL . MACH Y, unrestricted navigation, EFP (Enhanced Fire Protection). Documentation includes an International Tonnage Certificate, a Panama Canal Tonnage Certificate, and a Suez Canal Tonnage Certificate, and the vessel is flag registered in Malta.
Interior upgrades over standard specifications
From the moment you step inside, thoughtfully specified enhancements elevate every space. Electric stern sliding patio doors open the Main Deck Saloon to the aft terrace, mirrored by electric stern sliding patio doors serving the Upper Deck Saloon, while full height glass on both the port and starboard sides of the Main Deck Saloon floods the interior with light and uninterrupted views. Throughout the lower deck cabins, electric blackout blinds ensure complete privacy and restful nights, complemented by medium tinted film applied to the side windows and sliding doors for a harmonious balance of light and shade. The Master Stateroom is refined with a Dometic HiPro Mini-Bar and a Dometic Safe MD 281C concealed in cabinetry, and it benefits from powered blinds for the port and starboard windows; powered blinds are also provided for the Main Deck Master Stateroom, the Port Aft Guest Stateroom, the Starboard Aft Guest Stateroom, the Port Forward Guest Stateroom and the Starboard Forward Guest Stateroom. Both the Port Forward Stateroom and the Starboard Forward Stateroom include a Pullman berth and sliding berths to create double or twin beds, while sprung mattress comfort is specified for all beds. Tactile detailing abounds with Turnstyle Leather and polished Chrome door handles, and a second helmseat in the wheelhouse enhances companionship and confidence on passage.
In the Upper Deck Saloon, entertaining is effortless thanks to an Icemaker Victrofrigo Classic, a Miele undercounter Refrigerator and a wine cooler, with a wine cooler also appointed for this space. Lighting is orchestrated by the Vimar ByMe system, controlled from internal Touch Screens and, for total command underway, also from the Wheelhouse Bridge Touch Screen.
Electrical upgrades over standard specification
Command presence begins at the bow with a Kahlenberg Chimetone D1 chrome twin-trumpet horn fitted on the forward brow, while precise night running is assured by Aquasignal Series 55 navigation halogen lights. The yacht is fully prepared for future V-Sat fitment with all associated wiring and power supplies in place, and it already benefits from a Starlink maritime antenna that is installed and in active use. Professional-grade convenience extends to laundry care, where Miele takes center stage: a second set of Miele Professional appliances—comprising a Miele washing machine and a Miele tumble dryer—complements a further Miele washing machine and Miele tumble dryer to keep turnarounds effortless. Power management is equally comprehensive, with a primary shore power configuration consisting of a single 125A plugged flexible 20M cable on an electric reeling system and a second shore power configuration providing a single 125A plugged loose flexible 20M cable via a fixed inlet. Both connect to an Atlas 90 kVA-SPA-II Series 50Hz shore power converter delivering input from 180–530V three phase up to 90kVA and output at 230/400V 50Hz three phase 90kVA; an Atlas 90 kVA-SPA-II Series 50Hz shore power converter is installed with input 180–530V three phase up to 90kVA and output 230/400V 50Hz 3 phase 90kVA. Throughout the interior, AC 220V 50Hz Euro two-pin sockets provide universal practicality.
The Tijssen Elektro Marine Personal Assistance integrated power management, boat monitoring, and control system anchors onboard intelligence with a suite of intuitive touch interfaces: a Tijssen Master MPA 19-inch touchscreen display in the wheelhouse, a Tijssen Master MPA 17-inch touchscreen display, a Master MPA 17-inch touchscreen display in the tech room, a Master MPA 15-inch touchscreen display in the crew mess, and a Slave MPA 15-inch touchscreen display in the engine room. The system delivers display of the main generator parameters, augmented by an MPA Generator Control and Monitoring System Upgrade that allows complete control and monitoring of generator parameters and alarms via the Tijssen touchscreen. Remote access via internet VPN for the Tijssen Elektro factory is enabled with captain-approved access only, and safety is heightened with Fire Alarm Monitoring that triggers a pop-up alert in the event of an active fire alarm. Electrical oversight is exhaustive, incorporating AC electrical system power monitoring and display, DC system power monitoring and display, status monitoring and control of AC switchgear, and monitoring and display of DC switchgear status, as well as monitoring the status of all main circuit breakers. Critical systems fall under precise supervision, including monitoring and control of all major fluid pumps for fuel transfer, black water, and grey water; monitoring and control of engine room ventilation; monitoring and control of navigation lights; monitoring of exhaust temperature; monitoring of diesel fuel, fresh water, grey water, black water, and oil tank levels; and monitoring of portlight and hatch status. Bilge protection is reinforced with monitoring via a single float switch of bilge water level in thirteen bilge compartments.
For complete situational awareness, a Tijssen CCTV camera system with eight dedicated cameras and an onboard CCTV recorder surveils every key zone: camera one on the main deck aft views the stern entry point; cameras two and three are PTZ‑360° units in the engine room; camera four watches the port main deck side deck viewing aft; camera five covers the starboard main deck side deck viewing aft; camera six oversees the tender garage; camera seven monitors the upper deck aft cockpit; and camera eight surveys the sky deck, viewing aft. Finishing touches include two LED uplighters for the navigation mast and two shorelines provided for connection to the PABX and to an external Ethernet network.
Engineering upgrades over standard specification
Engineered to exceed the standard specification, the yacht’s ABT.TRAC installation provides the hydraulic backbone for the thruster system, stabilisers if specified, the foredeck windlasses and aft deck capstans. Each engine turns a 140 cc load-sense hydraulic pump via an SAE-C PTO on the gearbox, while a 75 cc load-sense hydraulic pump is driven via an SAE-C 24 volt clutched PTO on the main generator and a further 75 cc load-sense hydraulic pump via an SAE-C 24 volt clutched PTO on the second generator, ensuring assured hydraulic capacity across all operating profiles.
Climate control is equally comprehensive, with a Marine Air MCG V120 modular chiller comprising four 120,000 BTU modules for the accommodation spaces, complemented by dedicated engine room air conditioning from two Marine Air VCD27K self-contained units, each rated at 54,000 Btu. Fuel integrity is protected by an Alfa Laval MIB303 fuel cleaning centrifugal separator operating at 240 V, 1 phase, 50 Hz and 760 l/h, while Auto Troll for the transmissions enables refined slow-speed manoeuvring.
Robust dewatering and firefighting capability is delivered by a bilge pump system whose primary engine room pump is a Gianneshi self-priming centrifugal unit at 400 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz and 7.5 kW, supported by a secondary Gianneshi self-priming centrifugal pump—shared with the hydrant suction system—powered by an independent diesel engine in the pump room. Both pumps are coupled to bilge manifold valve blocks connected to the strum boxes throughout the yacht, with an MTU-fitted starboard engine direct bilge pump and strum box adding a further layer of security. The fire hydrant system mirrors this redundancy, with a primary Gianneshi self-priming centrifugal pump at 400 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz and 7.5 kW, and a secondary Yanmar self-priming centrifugal pump powered by an independent diesel engine in the pump room, where a dedicated fire hydrant hose station is also located.
Waste and water management are meticulously specified. The black water holding tank is an integral GRP tank of 1,340 litre capacity, discharging via a Gianneshi 400 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz self-priming centrifugal macerating pump to either a shore facility when available, directly overboard in accordance with MARPOL regulations, or to the sewage treatment plant. Grey water from showers, wash basins, washing machines and galley services drains to Tecma transfer units at 240 V, 1 phase, 50 Hz, which feed large-diameter gravity pipes into the integral GRP grey water holding tank of 1,250 litres; discharge is via a Gianneshi 400 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz self-priming centrifugal macerating pump either directly overboard, to the black water tank so the waste can be removed via a shoreside facility when available, or to the sewage treatment system. The sewage treatment plant is the ECOmar 32 SX-R, rated at 3,200 l/day and operating at 230 V, 1 phase, 50 Hz. Freshwater capacity is generous with an integral GRP tank of 5,200 litres carrying WRAS approval for potable water, pressurised by twin Gianneshi Duplex self-priming pumps at 400 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz, delivering 100 l/m each and mounted on an inlet/discharge manifold. A General Ecology Seagull IV X-2BK in-line freshwater purifier serves the galley, the upper deck servery, the crew mess and two independent icemakers, while a Hydrosil dosing unit disinfects the freshwater supply from the connection point in the starboard aft service locker or from the watermaker, and the garage houses the Octo Marine Compact Fresh Water Softener. Domestic hot water is provided by two Surejust horizontal 200 litre stainless steel-cased calorifiers, each with three 2 kW, 230 V, 3 phase immersion heaters, supported by a 60 litre expansion tank, and a hot/cold water circuit ring main runs throughout the lower and main decks with permanently running 230 V, 1 phase, 50 Hz, 120 W circulation pumps. Freshwater autonomy is extended by an Idromar water maker producing 375 litres per hour.
Fuel storage is long-range capable, with an integral GRP diesel fuel main tank of 19,000 litres, an integral GRP diesel fuel day tank of 3,900 litres replenished via an AC transfer pump from the main tank, and a diesel fuel long-range overload integral GRP tank of 5,700 litres. Electrical generation is handled by two Kohler 75 kW, 400/230 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz units, model 80EFOZDJ, each with sound shields, while trailing pumps are fitted to supply oil pressure for gearbox lubrication during windmilling situations, including running on one engine or when under tow.
Effortless precision when docking or holding station comes from a hydraulic bow thruster system rated at 100 HP by ABT.TRAC, equipped with 20-inch twin blades, opposite opposed, and a hydraulic stern thruster system at 65 HP by ABT.TRAC with 16-inch twin blades, opposite opposed. Routine upkeep is simplified by a Reverso portable electric transfer pump oil change system for engines, gearboxes and generators with quick-coupling connection pipes, a portable air compressor OP20P stored in the engine room with AC 220 V power supply, and a Sea-Fire FM-200 H-Series fixed machinery space fire extinguishing system. Safety oversight is further elevated by the Fireboy-Xintex fire alarm detection system, featuring a Syncro ASM control panel and dedicated Apollo smoke/heat detectors in all accommodation areas plus a heat detector in the galley, with alarms repeated on the MPA system.
Deck upgrades over standard specification
Purposeful enhancements elevate every moment on deck, beginning with four Zodiac ten-person SOLAS A life rafts and six 65 mm LED lights set into the moulded return of the garage door. All teak decks present with sophisticated grey caulking in lieu of the standard black, a detail echoed on the natural teak plinths flanking the tender recovery recess in the tender garage aperture, complete with teak infill. Boarding elegance is assured by a Besenzoni hydraulic three-stage telescopic stainless steel passerella measuring 5.8 m and a carbon fibre and polished stainless steel ensign staff suitable for a 2.5 yard ensign. Practicality meets convenience with exterior AC 220v sockets discreetly placed at the Sky Deck wet bar, within the Forepeak Locker, at the Upper Deck Aft Cockpit Servery, and by the Wheelhouse Deck Seating. The Sky Deck invites relaxation with four Summit SD345 sun loungers upholstered in Sunbrella Shingles, a GRP hard top, a special circular ten-seat dining table with lazy susan for the forward section, a Waeco Coolmatic refrigerator, and a Victrofrigo Classic icemaker. Shade is at the touch of a button thanks to a retractable electric sun awning covering the aft Sky Deck in Sunbrella Plus – Silver, while Sail Canopies for the forward section of the Sky Deck, supported by stainless steel poles with an integrated rope tensioning system, add versatile protection. Hot and cold water washdown outlets serve the exterior, complemented by a removable overhead shower stand on the platform and a removable polished stainless steel bathing ladder with teak treads. A hydraulically actuated platform offers rise, fall, and tilt functionality with a maximum lift capacity of 2000 kg.
Entertaining areas are furnished for refined outdoor living, with Main Deck Aft Cockpit furniture by Fischer Mobel, supplied as loose-fit pieces from the SUITE collection, while the Upper Deck Aft features four Summit teak chairs upholstered in Sunbrella Shingles paired with four Summit side tables. Seamless shoreside access is provided by a Marquip eight-step side mount stairway with hull fittings to port and starboard and dedicated stowage, alongside a Morton Marine Monte Carlo 3 m parasol with an offset post, two sockets, and its own stowage. Docking versatility is enhanced by port and starboard stainless steel stern hausers through the aft bulwarks for stern too mooring or towing operations, a second pair of mooring bollards on the forepeak, and twin Lewmar C10 hydraulic stern capstan winches fitted port and starboard. The anchoring arrangement is impressively specified with two Manson Ray 210 kg galvanised bow anchors linked to two lengths of 17.5 mm high tensile galvanised studlink chain, both at 165 m long, supported by seawater pressure washing of the anchor chain with an outlet in each hawse pipe. A tender diesel fuelling station, complete with a transfer pump from the day tank and a fuel hose reel, adds professional-grade autonomy.
