WASABI is a meticulously kept 76-foot Viking sportfish, ideal for sportfishing and cruising. Her teak cockpit boasts mezzanine with bait freezer, tackle center, fighting chair, fish boxes, and 2019-updated Seakeeper gyro stabilizer.

Inside, the generous salon and galley deliver abundant seating, Sub-Zero refrigeration, granite worktops, and plentiful stowage. Lodging comprises a full-beam owner’s suite, four guest staterooms, four heads, and a washer/dryer.

The enclosed flybridge presents L-shaped seating, twin helms, a cocktail table, and access to the Palm Beach Tower and cockpit mezzanine.

Recent complete bottom service and hull detailing (February 2025) confirm WASABI is ready to fish or cruise immediately.

Overview

WASABI is a lightly used family fishing and cruising yacht that has been meticulously maintained by only two owners since new, rigged to the maximum for extensive offshore pursuits or effortless coastal cruising. A two hundred square foot teak cockpit sets the stage for action, its comfortable mezzanine incorporating a bait freezer, chill box, tackle center, and generous storage. A Release Marine fighting chair stands ready, complemented by two in-deck fish boxes and a transom fish box plumbed as a livewell. Beneath the cockpit, a large watertight hatch encloses the Seakeeper Gyro, which was replaced in 2019.

Aboard this 76’ Viking, the expansive salon welcomes you with a large L-shaped lounge to starboard and a convenient day head aft to port. The forward galley is anchored by a spacious centerline island with three stools aft and six undercounter Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer drawer units, while additional galley cabinets, a granite countertop, and a full suite of appliances sit just forward of the island. A generous dining settee with table resides starboard forward, and immediately ahead are two walk-in lockers with added cabinetry for both appliances and rod storage.

Continuing forward, the full-beam master stateroom features a private en-suite head and is joined by four additional staterooms—two with queen beds and two with over/under berths—bringing the total to four heads. A stacked washer/dryer is discreetly housed in the companionway within concealed cabinetry.

On the main deck, an interior staircase ascends to the enclosed flybridge, where a raised-platform L-shaped settee, cocktail table, refrigerator drawers, and a pop-up TV create a refined retreat. Forward lies the centerline helm with port and starboard seating and a Stidd helm seat. Through the aft door, a second helm station to port pairs with additional lounge seating, while centerline access leads to the Palm Beach Tower and an exterior ladder descends to the teak cockpit mezzanine deck below.

WASABI completed a full bottom service in May 2026, including complete bottom sanding and paint, fully serviced and balanced running gear, and a comprehensive hull detailing. She now features new Veem propellers along with a spare set delivered in September 2026, making her immediately fish- or cruise-ready for her next owners.

Salon

Enter through the sliding electric salon door onto an Amtico laminate wood entry landing rendered in American ash with a black walnut border, setting a refined tone for a space that blends comfort and sophistication. An L-shaped lounge with an armrest by the cockpit door invites relaxation around a cocktail table with Mappa burl inlay that raises to dining height, while a plush carpet sole is protected by a full-length canvas carpet runner. Entertainment is immersive thanks to a home theater system anchored by a fifty-five-inch Samsung LED plasma TV and a Bose LS 48 system with custom surround sound, all enjoyed in privacy with Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds. Custom lambrequins with fabric panels and teak borders are complemented by décor pillows that match the lambrequins’ fabric, creating a cohesive interior aesthetic. Practicality is equally considered, with rod storage underneath the settees providing a discreet, purpose-built solution for gear.

Galley and dinette

The galley is appointed with Gialitta granite countertops and custom Amtico flooring in American Ash framed by a Black Walnut border, setting an elegant tone for culinary craft. At its heart, a custom galley island offers 360-degree access with integrated refrigeration and freezer, a polished granite top, and three bar stools for casual gathering. Practicality meets polish with a dinette settee providing under-cushion storage and a Mappa Burl dinette table finished to a high gloss. Daily use is effortless thanks to a garbage disposal in the sink, a Fisher Paykel dishwasher, and a microwave convection oven, while a Gaggenau glass four-burner electric stovetop with an electric pop-up evacuate vent pairs seamlessly with a Gaggenau 30-inch full oven for serious cooking. Cold storage is generous with Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer drawers of large capacity tucked under the counter, complemented by a Kenmore trash compactor and a Kenmore Elite drink icemaker. Forward of the galley, a dedicated pantry room houses the chef’s equipment storage in a four-drawer cabinet and racks (cooking equipment is excluded), along with a large two-door wine cooler and a central vacuum system.

Master stateroom

A serene retreat awaits with a king walk‑around bed offering generous storage beneath, upgraded with a System #3 king mattress for elevated comfort. Wall‑mounted sconce lamps positioned above the bedside nightstands provide warm, focused illumination, while hull‑side windows to port and starboard flood the space with natural light. Entertainment comes courtesy of a 40 Samsung flat‑panel HDTV, and the ambiance is completed by inviting upholstered lounge seating.

Guest staterooms forward and port aft

Guests in the forward and port aft staterooms enjoy queen-size walk-around beds with storage beneath, each topped with an orthopedic mattress and complemented by 19-inch LCD flat-screen TVs for private entertainment.

Guest stateroom port forward and crew stateroom starboard

Both the port-forward guest stateroom and the starboard crew stateroom are thoughtfully appointed with upper and lower berths featuring underneath storage, their bunks fitted with orthopedic mattresses for superior rest. Entertainment is seamless thanks to stereo speakers discreetly set within the soffit, tied into the salon stereo with volume control, while a 19-inch LCD TV completes the amenity suite.

Master, guest, and crew heads

In the master, guest, and crew heads, a mirrored ceiling elevates the ambiance above a Gialitta granite vanity top and custom Amtico flooring rendered in American Ash with a Black Walnut border. A stall shower is enclosed by a one-piece frameless shower door for a clean, contemporary profile, and all toilets throughout the vessel were newly installed in 2023.

Day head

The day head is appointed with a Gialitta granite vanity top and a custom decorator hammer copper sink basin, complemented by custom faucet and fixtures. Underfoot, custom Amtico flooring in American Ash with a Black Walnut border provides a refined, durable finish.

Companionway

The companionway is elegantly detailed with vertical teak strips set between the wall panels, lending warmth and refinement to the passage. A discreet laundry center, concealed behind a matching teak door, houses a stackable washer and dryer for effortless onboard care. Overhead LED lighting provides bright, efficient illumination, ensuring a clean, contemporary ambiance.

Decor

The décor showcases ultra-leather seating in the Salon, Master Stateroom, and Dinette, complemented by Premier Edition décor with the enclosed bridge upgraded. The sofa ensemble is elevated with ultra-leather in Milkweed, a convenient sofa armrest by the door, toe kicks by all sofas in Papyrus, and storage beneath all sofas, while a custom headliner runs throughout, new 2024. Overhead, teak décor strips articulate the headliner between panels, and in the Salon, wood-contoured valance panels provide a refined finishing touch.

Enclosed flybridge

Command comes effortlessly from the enclosed flybridge, where the MTU "Bridge Controls" System and a Moritz Safety Octoplex Touch Screen boat systems monitor with audible and visible alarms (8/2019) put comprehensive oversight at your fingertips. The Stidd helm chair is flanked by companion bench seats, while climate is managed by air conditioning with reverse-cycle heat, temperature control, and a dehumidification mode. A teak inlaid cocktail table on a fixed pedestal anchors the social space, complemented by a custom interior staircase from the salon to the enclosed flybridge and an L-shaped lounge on a raised floor with storage beneath. Provisions are close at hand with Sub-Zero refrigerator drawers, and entertainment is delivered by a 32-inch Samsung LCD flat-screen TV on a pop-up lift and a 12V stereo with speakers in the pilothouse and bridge afterdeck. Inside sun shades temper the pilothouse windows. Docking is simplified by a pod-style aft docking station with surface-mounted controls, a compass, and engine start/stop switches, while molded-in quartz lights in the overhang illuminate the area. Additional seating comes via an aft flybridge settee, matching the lower mezzanine, with storage beneath, and a single radar mast crowns the profile. Anglers will appreciate a six-rod rocket launcher on the aft bridge rail, and the space is finished with a plush carpet sole, new in 2024.

Electronics and navigation

Command and control are centered around three 19-inch KEP displays complemented by two NavNet 3D control panels with Black Box depth sounder and radar, a Furuno BBWX2 live satellite weather system, and Furuno MFD8 NavNet 3D 8.4-inch displays positioned at the tower and aft helm station. Precision steering comes via a Simrad AP28 autopilot control head with a second station in the tower, added in 2019, while a Furuno RD30 provides an additional digital depth/temperature display and a separate Furuno RD30 remote data display serves the tower. Visual awareness is enhanced by a cockpit aft-facing camera and an engine room camera. Reliable communications are assured with two ICOM 604 VHF units with remote-mounted mics, a Newmar hailer horn, and a Comrod AV51B1 four-foot VHF antenna. Further flexibility includes Icom HM162B VHF second-station remotes with intercom—one at the tower and another additional unit—plus an Icom OPC1541 six meter extension cable for a command mic connected to the bridge radio tower and an Icom OPC1541 VHF command mic extension cable for the aft flybridge station on the port side. Traditional backup comes from a Richie Powerdamp magnetic compass at all helms. Entertainment and data at sea are delivered by a KVH TracVision sat TV dome on the tower hardtop with HD capability, a KVH Fleet One Tracphone system using Inmarsat Fleet Broadband for data, and an AME mounted satellite phone, a recently new unit. Security is managed by the Magellan Paradox alarm security system.

Cockpit

Teak decking graces the cockpit deck, mezzanine deck, and stairs, setting a warm, secure stage for action. The observation mezzanine to starboard features aft-facing lounge seating with a hinged seat revealing storage beneath. A recessed, under-mounted refrigerated chill box is built into the mezzanine step, and every mezzanine box is refrigerated and governed by individual digital thermostats. In the gunwales, six Rupp rod holders keep your spread organized, while transom swim steps at the transom door ease boarding and water access. The transom-mounted fish box is plumbed as a livewell with drain, complemented by a walk-through transom door with lift gate and a transom coaming with gate and integrated transom fish box. Freshwater and seawater washdowns are on tap, selectable through a Y-valve for fresh and salt water washdown. After dark, indirect rope lighting under the coaming sets the mood. A two-piece gyro hatch cover provides access to the rudder mechanicals, and the Seakeeper was replaced in 2019. For added versatility, a rod holder and leaning post combination was fitted on the mezzanine in 2024.

Tuna tower and fishing equipment

A Palm Beach Towers center-ladder, seven-step gap tuna tower rises in brushed pipework, crowned by a molded sunshade with a SAT TV dome above. The molded standing platform integrates a coupler box and washdown spigot, with two quartz lights molded beneath and one forward, while running lights and recessed tricolor lights are seamlessly built in. The tower control box presents recessed electronics pods flanking the helm wheel, with a compass set on the centerline forward, and the tower helm itself is outfitted with round digital tachometers, trim tab switches, a thruster joystick, and a hydraulics remote panel. A custom stainless helm wheel is complemented by a safety grab railing, and a full-width tower bench seat with backrest and belly band cushion provides secure comfort. The tower is fully bonded and rigged for action with forty-three-foot Big Rig Rupp outriggers featuring triple spreaders and heavy aft bars, plus a Rupp center rigger for added reach. In the cockpit, a teak Release Trillion tuna chair with five-rod rocket launcher backrest, tray, backpad, and gooseneck offset stands as the centerpiece, finished with custom upholstery on the chair arms, seat cushion, and a custom cover. Fish-ready storage includes an under-deck fishbox with an insulated two-door lid and crushed-ice outlet, complemented by a transom fishbox plumbed as a livewell, while under-gunwale electric reel plug outlets provide dependable 12V service.

Deck equipment

At the heart of the foredeck, a Muir Atlantic 4000 hydraulic windlass with gypsy and drum streamlines anchoring operations, working in concert with a Fortress anchor complete with chain rode and chain stopper for steadfast holding power. The bow is purposefully outfitted with a sturdy pulpit and an anodized aluminum bow rail, delivering sure footing and security underway, while a fitted cockpit cover preserves the deck spaces when not in use. Day-to-day practicality is elevated by a fiberglass step box capped with teak tops, dedicated fender storage neatly arranged within the forward anchor locker, and recessed covers on the transom that shield the trim tab pistons. Rounding out the package, a water delivery kit with tool set stands ready for convenient maintenance and onboard tasks.

Electrical systems

Engineered for reliable power at sea, the yacht is equipped with two 32 kW Onan QD generators showing 2,450 hours, seamlessly complemented by shore power via two 50-amp cords on Glendinning Cablemaster winders and an additional 50-amp inlet plug with cord for flexible connectivity. Power quality and protection are enhanced by two Charles Industries IsoBoost isolation/boosting transformers and a Charles PM100 AC Power Management System, while a Mastervolt 24-volt, 60-amp engine battery charger keeps energy reserves optimally maintained and radial battery disconnect switches provide decisive control. Thoughtful details include overhead LED lighting recessed in the ceiling for efficient, modern illumination. In 2019, the vessel experienced a lightning strike; following a comprehensive Marine Electrical Survey, any electrical issues, including some electronics, were either repaired or replaced.

Mechanical and engine room

The engine room offers 6’6” of vertical headroom and houses two MTU 16V2000CR M93 2400 hp engines with 3,350 hours, each coupled to ZF transmissions with electric trolling valves, the trolling valves having been replaced in 2019. Reliability and serviceability are enhanced by 24V fuel priming pumps for the main engines and Racor fuel/water separator filters serving both the mains and the generator. Climate control is assured by a chilled‑water air‑conditioning system built around two four‑ton chillers with reverse‑cycle heat and an inline backup chilled‑water pump, while freshwater needs are met by a Headhunter freshwater pump with an inline backup pump and a Spot Zero reverse osmosis freshwater system rated at 2000 gal/day for shore water conditioning. An Aquamatic Sea Recovery watermaker delivers 1800 gpd with auto‑flush, and a Dometic Eskimo crushed‑ice machine produces 600 lb/day with remote control panels at the helm and at the engine room entrance.

Handling is precise with VIPER steering, the Viking Independent Proportional Electro‑Hydraulic Rudder Steering System, complete with a flybridge readout panel. Engine room airflow is optimized by a Delta‑T ventilation system with demisters, and driveline integrity benefits from dripless shaft logs and three trim tabs. Additional systems include hydraulic thruster and davit powerback, generator mufflers with underwater gas/water separators, hydraulic emergency crash pump inlets in four compartments, and two built‑in white Craftsman tool boxes for organized onboard maintenance. Comfort and performance upgrades are noteworthy, with a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer replaced at the Viking Service Center in 2019, all toilets in the heads replaced in 2022, and new Veem propellers, as well as a spare set, in September 2026.
