The first boat, launched in 1974, was named Grand Soleil 34. It was designed by a French design agency - Groupe Fino. Eleven years later, the shipyard made a real breakthrough and built Grand Soleil 343. This boat, despite the length of 34 feet, was built on the basis of technologies used on the larger yachts.
