DYER

DYER - the legendary American boats

DYER BOATS is a well-known American brand under which the motor boats are produced. Anchorage, Inc., that is engaged in their production is located in Warren (Rhode Island).

The company was founded in 1930 by Bill Dyer. Already in the early 40s of the last century they built a legendary 9-foot boat with a wooden hull. During the Second World War Anchorage, Inc. was engaged in manufacturing of the lifeboats. They were used on the Pacific front.

By the end of the 40s the company was one of the first companies that switched to the fiberglass hulls. The first sailing boats with a fiberglass hull were built in 1949. Up to this day, Anchorage, Inc. uses this material in the manufacture of boats.

DYER BOATS is producing both the small, 8-10-feet boats, and the high-grade, albeit tiny, yachts (29 feet). They use both the engines and sailing accessories. The sailboats are ideal for sailing and regattas, the motor boats - for fishing, small sea and river trips, as the additional boats on the large yachts. DYER represents dynamism, lightweight, ease of navigation, and, of course, cost-effective and affordable solution for the freshwater ponds. This boat has good speed performance and dynamism, it is perfect for racing within its class.
