ELEPHANT BOATYARD is a yachtbuilding company located in Bursledone on the Hamble River (UK). For more than 60 years the company has been managed by the Richardson family. The shipyard was built in 1801.

The passion for yachting and sailing, navigation and racing experience - that's what has made ELEPHANT BOATYARD so successful. Each member of the Richardson family, beginning from Tom is in love with the sea and sailing. Due to this fact this shipyard truly understands the needs and desires of the sailors. They are producing the unique sailing and motor yachts, restoring wooden ships, repairing and reconstructing the boats.

ELEPHANT BOATYARD does not focus on luxury, style and speed. The boats launched by this shipyard, have no "bias" inherent to many superyachts. These vessels are designed to go in the sea and enjoy the journeys. They are built for those who know a lot about yachting and can distinguish the beautiful "dummy" from a truly effective and reliable vessel.
