Mondo Marine is an Italian shipyard that began to work in Savona before the Second World War. At first, the company built the wooden and steel vessels, and also offered to repair the boats. During the war period they switched to the construction of specialized warships.

In the 50s the company started new developments. Even then the changes occurred that in the 70s led to the development of yacht building on the basis of innovative materials. During this period, the shipyard built the merchant ships using the technology developed in the war years.

In the 70s the shipyard as expanded - the company increased its production facility and staff. At this time, the shipbuilding company was engaged in the development and testing of new technologies. Mondo Marine did not keep out of the new developments. The shipyard began the construction of vessels made of innovative materials, experimented a lot with new hulls of ships and new equipment. In 1977, the production site of the company was modernized. It was in the 70s when Mohamedia yacht was launched. In 1975 the 48-meter vessel received a well-deserved award - the special prize of Lloyd's Register.

At the end of the twentieth century the shipyard suffered a serious crisis. They did not have enough money and orders. But by the beginning of the XXI century, the company went out of a difficult situation. The shipyard began to build the ships again. The manufacturer, having passed through the crisis period, has determined the type of ships. The company decided to build the boats made of steel and aluminum alloys. These are the innovative yachts that have the reliability of traditional steel vessels.
