MY SERENDIPITY is among the rare, head‑turning Azimut 116 superyachts. Conceived by Stefano Righini and launched in 2008 by the celebrated Italian yard in Viareggio, she was initially kept strictly private as a day boat in Indonesia before being acquired by a deeply knowledgeable serial yacht owner who had previously owned an Azimut 116 and remained enamored with the platform. From October 2022 through April 2024, she underwent an extensive refit at Seven Stars in Pisa that returned her to a virtually new state. The interior was also completely repainted and reimagined by Margherita Casprini. Over an 18‑month, 1,950,000€ program, the yacht was comprehensively repainted—hull, superstructure and interior—while fresh teak was laid on the sundeck, aft deck, bow and swim platform, with the remaining decks meticulously recaulked. All exterior furniture, cushions and upholstery were renewed. Work lists were carried out to exacting Italian yard standards, honoring both cosmetic detail and structural integrity. Inside, the design language was transformed and repainted to introduce lighter, more contemporary hues from headliner to sole. She now presents a refined, modern style complemented by chic, brand‑new furnishings, cultivating a cozy, serenely relaxed atmosphere.

With her generous interior volume of 260 GT, MY SERENDIPITY can presently host up to 14 guests in 6 luxury cabins, including a full‑beam owner’s suite with private access on the lower deck, along with 2 VIP staterooms and 2 twin cabins, each fitted with an additional Pullman berth. All guest accommodation is arranged on the lower deck, apart from the sixth cabin on the main deck forward, currently configured as a TV lounge/office and featuring a large sofa bed and a Pullman, ideal for family flexibility and multi‑use living.

This high‑performance Azimut 116 flybridge motor yacht is packed with lifestyle features, including expansive sunpads on the sundeck, a fully equipped bar and a 12‑guest dining table beneath a broad hardtop with an electrically opening skylight for truly effortless alfresco entertaining. A full‑size garage door is integrated into the stern to create a welcoming beach door. The yacht has just completed her RINA classification survey and is registered under the Cook Islands flag. Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M93 diesel engines of 2,400 hp each, she reaches an exhilarating top speed of 28 knots and delivers superb comfort and stability both underway and at anchor, courtesy of her two hydraulic, digital ABT‑TRAC fins (zero speed). Both mains show very low hours and have just undergone full MTU servicing, while the two generators were rebuilt to as‑new and the entire air‑conditioning system was replaced. She is run by up to six crew accommodated in three dedicated lower‑deck crew cabins with separate access from guest areas.

Upgrades during the 2022/2024 refit

A comprehensive 2022/2024 refit elevated the yacht with extensive cosmetic enhancements, beginning with a full paint job of the hull and the entire vessel. New teak was laid on the flybridge, stern, and bow area, with repairs on the main deck, while all crew bedding was replaced to complement a new modern interior. Fresh cushion covers and complete exterior reupholstery were completed, alongside renewed interior soft furnishings, carpets, and decoration. The flybridge now features a new bar and a new kitchen corner, and the crew benefits from completely new quarters.

Mechanical reliability and performance were advanced with a seawater AC pump, two new generators, new propellers, and a new shaft line, supported by full electrical jobs and a complete overhaul of the engines.

Equipment upgrades include a replaced Swift board from the computer, the installation of a Starlink link internet system, and new antennas, audio, and video. Navigation and communication equipment was installed, anchor chains and mark shackles were replaced, and the tank was water blasted. Further additions comprise new boilers, a new water maker, a new TV, and a new Sonor system.

In the wheelhouse, four new screens were added, a software update was carried out, a Maxsea plotter was integrated, new antennas were fitted, and a general update completed the transformation.
