Overview
The Azimut 70’s 22-metre profile seems to run beyond the frame of any photo—and looks even grander on the water, mirroring the poise and intention behind its lines. A continuing evolution in luxury motor yacht design, it delivers fresh sensations with every cruise.
That feeling of scale is amplified by the radical glazing conceived by Stefano Righini. Towering and expansive, the windows encompass more than 15 square metres, their sculptural “shark’s fin” rising from the deckhouse and flowing into perfectly elliptical panes. Dramatic in form and function, they pour natural light inside to breathtaking effect—an “extreme” hallmark of this flybridge yacht.
Aft, the cockpit is devoted to effortless entertaining, centered around an embracing C-shaped sofa and a dining table for eight. Above, the 11-square-metre flybridge becomes an open-air salon—ideal for sunbathing, al fresco meals, cocktails, and easy conversation—crafted for comfort when coastal cruising or passagemaking.
On the main deck, length, beam, height, and elegance converge. Seating is upholstered in refined Rubelli fabrics, while cabinetry in decapé oak is finished with tactile leather accents. The result is superyacht-level sophistication with a warm, contemporary spirit tailored to discerning yachtsmen.
Midships, the full-beam owner’s suite is framed by two panoramic windows divided into four vertical sections—two opening for fresh-air ventilation. Daylight floods a starboard dinette with integrated vanity and a portside chest with tray top. Approximately 15 square metres of private living space are complemented by a walk-in wardrobe; the bed’s leather headboard is gracefully outlined by a mirrored frame for an added touch of glamour.
Below, the layout sets a benchmark in its class: four cabins and four bathrooms for family and guests. As the standout in the 70-foot motor yacht category, the Azimut 70 offers roughly 30 square metres of flybridge living between sea and sky, while more than 15 square metres of glass invite daylight to cascade through the interior. Balanced, athletic, and unmistakably elegant, this performance cruising yacht’s acclaim is no accident—it’s classic Azimut.
Detailed Description
General
The Azimut 70’s 22 metres of hull length seem endless in a photograph, and it appears even larger on the water, elegantly reflecting the grace with which it was designed—a revolution that continues to provide new thrills.
This sense of grandeur is amplified when admiring the unprecedented window design that Stefano Righini intentionally conceived as “extreme.” They are as tall and as wide as they are bold, with a surface of over 15 square metres. Extreme in form, with an elegant shark’s fin that rises from the deckhouse and flows into the perfect elliptical outline of the panes. Extreme, too, in the flood of natural light that pours through them.
Tremendous space has been devoted to the cockpit, where an inviting C-shaped sofa frames a dining table that comfortably accommodates 8 people. The flybridge, with its 11 square metres, is an ideal haven for relaxation, dining, cocktails, and effortless socialising in total comfort.
The main deck pays homage to four dimensions—length, width, height, and elegance—with seats upholstered in Rubelli decor fabrics and furniture crafted from decapé oak, enriched with leather details.
Midship, the owner’s cabin stretches full beam, its 2 panoramic windows composed of 4 vertical sections, two of which open to invite fresh sea air. Abundant light illuminates a dinette area with a built-in vanity on the starboard side and a chest of drawers with a tray top to port. The suite delivers absolute comfort across 15 square metres of living space, complemented by a walk-in wardrobe. The bed’s leather headboard is artfully framed in a mirror.
Below, the lower deck is the most comprehensive in its class, with 4 cabins and 4 bathrooms. As the largest flybridge in its category, the Azimut 70 offers 30 square metres to savour between sky and sea; over 15 square metres of glass surfaces let light cascade through; and a balanced design defines the entire range. It is not by chance that the 70 is a huge success, and it is not by chance that it is an Azimut.
