Overview
Bearing the name of the brightest star in the Lyra constellation, the sailing yacht Vega is a timeless classic with a remarkable racing pedigree.
Vega, a Baglietto 1924 8 m. S.I., stands as one of the swiftest vessels in the Eight Meters class. Designed exclusively for regattas, she boasts top-tier sails and accessories, yet lacks an engine, embodying pure elegance. This gem is currently located in Gaeta, Italy. Her present owner meticulously restored her between 2000 and 2004. Since her debut in 1925, Vega has been a formidable competitor across Italy, with recent victories at the Prada Trophy in Cannes and the Panerai Trophy Argent.
