Detailed Description
Overview
Thoughtfully arranged for comfort underway and at anchor, the forward stateroom presents a double V‑berth measuring 6'5", with deep stowage beneath and handy shelves running alongside, plus a hanging locker to starboard for orderly gear management. Aft to port, the head is appointed with a sink featuring a handheld shower/faucet, a marine toilet, a storage locker, a mirror, and an opening hatch for light and airflow. In the main salon, two opposing settees fitted with lee cloths flank a removable, folding dining table set amidships; a padded cover protects the tabletop when not in use. Outboard of the settees, additional lockers and shelves keep essentials secure, while an overhead hatch and four fans work together to promote excellent ventilation. The navigation station sits aft of the salon to starboard, with a proper chart table offering space for chart storage, instruments, and the electrical panel; there is further stowage beneath the nav seat. Opposite to port, the galley is generous in proportion and smartly equipped. Two aft cabins broaden the accommodations: the port cabin offers a 6'6" double berth, a hanging locker, and stowage shelves, while the starboard cabin mirrors these amenities with its own 6'6" double berth. The interior finish is a warm Cherry-stained wood contrasted by crisp white counters; upholstery is white Ultraleather in the salon, complemented by stylish blue-and-white stripes in the staterooms, and the opening ports are fitted with both screens and shades.
Purpose-built for real cruising duty, the galley carries a gimbaled two-burner LPG stove with oven and pan storage beneath, a counter set with twin stainless steel sinks, cold storage served by 12VDC refrigeration, and an opening port to sweep away galley heat. Practical outboard lockers, a cutlery drawer, and a built-in trash bin ensure everything has its place, while pressurized hot and cold water makes meal prep and cleanup effortless.
Robust ship systems include both 110V and 12V electrical services supported by 1 start battery and 2 house batteries, a 110V 20‑amp battery charger, and a 30‑amp shore power cord to keep the bank topped up in port. A pressurized hot and cold water system delivers domestic comfort, while an electric bilge pump is backed up by a hand‑operated bilge pump for redundancy. A dedicated 12V sump pump efficiently manages shower drainage.
Confident passagemaking is anchored by a comprehensive electronics suite: a Raymarine e95 multi‑function touch display with SR 150 Sirius XM weather receiver (2015), a Raymarine ST 4000+ Auto Pilot, the new Raymarine i60 Windmachine (2018), and a Raymarine ST60 Tridata for depth, speed, and trip data. Performance inputs are enhanced by a Volocitec ProstartGPS Speed heading and line unit. Entertainment comes via a JVC stereo—CD, MP3, Bluetooth, and Ipod compatible—with remote. Communications are handled by a Standard VHF with remote mic ram in the cockpit, and a flexible navigation area lamp provides focused illumination at the chart table.
A remarkably complete sail wardrobe of more than fifteen sails equips the boat for every breeze and point of sail: a 2017 North3DL Main in excellent condition; a 2015 Doyle AP#1, also excellent; a 2013 Doyle Code O Asymmetrical; a Bierug Staysail described as like new; a 2013 Doyle Class main; a 2011 Doyle #3; a 2011 Doyle Light #1; a 2010 Bierig Tri‑Radial Spinnaker .75oz; a 2010 Doyle Class Main; a 2007 Doyle .5 AP/Running Spinnaker; a 2007 Doyle AP#1 Heavy #1 leach recut; a 2006 Doyle high‑clewed Reacher; a 2005 Bierig Asymmetrical spinnaker with chute scoop; a 2005 Bierig Storm Jib; a 2003 UK Dacron Cruising Main 8.3 oz; a 2003 UK dacron Furling Genoa 6.53 oz; a 2003 UK AP spinnaker .75 oz nylon; and a 2003 UK #2 Tape Drive for cruising. Together, they create a program-ready inventory that blends race-bred pedigree with cruising practicality.
