Overview

A standout of the enduring Benetti Classic Supreme line, the 132' luxury motor yacht PATIENCE encapsulates the shipyard’s heritage of craft and style. Conceived by renowned designer Stefano Righini, this tri-deck superyacht blends Italian elegance with contemporary comfort, delivering the refinement expected from a Benetti masterpiece.

Launched in 2012, PATIENCE saw a significant engine room refit in 2020 and a comprehensive interior refresh in 2022. Most recently, a winter/spring 2024 upgrade introduced a modern AV suite with Starlink, an interior reimagined by Patrick Knowles, new linens across all guest cabins, VIPs converted to king beds, a former gym transformed into a queen stateroom, and an updated galley with new equipment and cabinetry—creating a turnkey, charter-friendly luxury yacht.

The forward owner’s suite offers a private office, a fold‑out balcony, a generous dressing room, and a spa-style ensuite featuring a soaking tub and separate shower. Below, four guest staterooms—two doubles and two twins—each enjoy their own ensuite, ensuring a family-friendly, guest-centric superyacht layout.

PATIENCE is built for effortless entertaining and relaxation, with expansive open-air living spaces and a rare pair of on‑deck Jacuzzis—one on the sun deck and another on the foredeck—exceptional for a yacht in this size range. Multiple alfresco and interior dining areas, lounging zones, and sunbathing spots create a versatile platform for long, leisurely days at sea.

Cruising comfortably at 12 knots and reaching 15 knots, PATIENCE boasts a 3,500nm range at 10 knots for confident bluewater passages. Zero-speed Naiad stabilizers, both at anchor and underway, elevate comfort and poise, rounding out a sophisticated, long‑range displacement motor yacht experience.

Detailed Description

Main specifications

A Benetti Classic Supreme 132 delivered in 2012 and refit in 2024, this semi-displacement monohull balances poise and performance with a length overall of 133 ft / 40.20m, a beam of 26 ft / 7.86 m, and a draft of 8 ft / 2.40m. She welcomes 12 guests attended by a professional crew of 7, and carries HIN BS001. Tonnage is measured at 346 GT / 103 NT. Conceived under the eye of naval architect Stefano Righini, with exterior and interior styling by Benetti and Francois Zuretti, the yacht is constructed in GRP with teak decks, combining timeless Italian aesthetics with proven ocean-going durability. Under RINA class, C HULL MACH YCH (MCA) UNRESTRICTED, she flies the Cayman Islands flag, is MCA commercial compliant – unrestricted, and operated under MIN ISM.

Her semi-displacement hull delivers a composed ride with a maximum speed of 15 KTS, an effortless cruising speed of 12 KTS, and an economical passage at 10 KTS, yielding an approximate range of 3,500 NM. At cruising, combined main engines and generators consume 3,000 litres per 24 hours. Capacities are engineered for extended autonomy, with fuel at 12,417 Gallon / 47,000 litres and fresh water at 2,008 Gallon / 7,600 litres. Grey water capacity is 450 Gallon / 1,700 litres, black water 860 Gallon / 3,250 litres, lube oil 116 Gallon / 440 litres, waste oil 116 Gallon / 440 litres, sludge tank 68 Gallon / 260 litres, and bilge tank 68 Gallon / 260 litres—thoughtful volumes that support long-range comfort and compliance.

Construction quality speaks throughout: the GRP hull and teak decks are by Benetti, with classification verified by RINA. The specification is rounded by a precise hull configuration—semi-displacement monohull—for confident, efficient passagemaking in all seasons.

Mechanical and engine equipment

Power comes from twin MTU 12V 2000 M91 main engines delivering 2238 KW, with serial numbers 535 108 321 (port) and 535 108 322 (starboard). Hours are meticulously tracked at 7245 on both port and starboard as of October 23rd, 2025, reflecting a disciplined maintenance profile. The propulsion train is completed by ZF3000 gearboxes, while precision handling is ensured by a BSC STEER 2000 steering system and a Naiad Marine Model 20 bow thruster. Ride comfort is exceptional thanks to Naiad Marine Mode 525 stabilizers with DATUM control and zero-speed functionality—hydraulic underway and electro-hydraulic at anchor—for unwavering poise whether cruising or at rest.

Electrical generation is robust and redundant, with 80 KW x2 Kohler 80 EFOZD units (Port Spec No. GM 57977-GA24), consuming diesel and started electrically. Generator hours as of October 23rd, 2025 record 20832 (port) and 20857 (starboard). Shore power capability measures 38.25 KW x2, supporting seamless hotel loads in port. The yacht’s battery suite is specified for endurance and reliability, featuring a 480 AH 24 volt service bank, and both generator start and main engine start batteries at 24 Volt 200 AH each.

Ancillary systems are engineered to superyacht standard: water production by 2 x Idromar MC9 Duplex and a fresh water system by Idromar; fuel polishing via Alfa Laval; sewage handled by Headhunter; compressed air by Gianneschi; and climate control by Dometic MCGV480(001)SCL, rated at 40 tons across 4 units. Together, these systems underpin quiet, efficient, and guest-focused operation in every cruising scenario.

Communications and navigation equipment

In the pilothouse, communications are comprehensively specified with a Sailor 6301 SSB, VHF coverage by 1 x Sailor 6222 DSC and 1 x Sailor 6248, a VINGTOR VSP-211-L intercom, FURUNO NX700 Navtex, and GMDSS capability via Inmarsat C Sailor 6110. The navigation suite is equally authoritative, combining 2 x FURUNO RCU – 014 radars, an ANSCHUTZ STD22 gyrocompass with a new gyrosphere fitted in May 2022, a Northrop Grumman Type 2060 magnetic compass, NAVIS – AP3000 autopilot, and a FURUNO depth sounder. Positioning is secured by a SIMRAD MX510 GPS, with the Benetti BEST Monitoring System serving as the ship’s computer. Wind and speed data are provided by FEDERICO LANDUCCI instrumentation, while charts are displayed on 1 x Navnet TZ Touch and 1 x TIMEZERO for redundancy and clarity.

Entertainment and connectivity are curated for modern yachting life, with a TVRO Intellion system (new in 2021), the Benetti BEST System for onboard media, and Starlink with 2 x panels bringing dependable high-speed internet to sea.

Galley and laundry equipment

The crew galley and laundry are specified for professional throughput, featuring a Miele fridge, 2 x Miele Professional VARIO washing machines, and 2 x Miele Professional VARIO dryers to keep operations seamless on extended passages. In the main galley, culinary ambitions are realized with a 1 x Miele Induction cooktop, 2 x Miele ovens, and a Miele microwave, supported by 2 x Custom Built refrigerator/freezer units for generous cold storage. Cleanup is swift and silent with a Miele Professional G7856 dishwasher, while an Uline Icemaker delivers a constant supply of crystal-clear ice to match the yacht’s hospitality.

Security, fire fighting and safety equipment

Security is anchored by a LILIN CCTV system with 5 x LININ cameras and 2 x LILIN monitors strategically placed at the bridge and in the crew mess, ensuring vigilant oversight of all critical zones. Fire protection is comprehensive, pairing FM200 Co2 installations in the engine room and galley with a suite of 28 x various extinguishers (Foam / Co2 / Powder) and an Autoprime alarm backbone for fast, reliable detection and response. Safety provisions include 3 x 10 pers (Zodiac) and 1 x 12 pers (Zodiac) life rafts, 2 x smoke & light and 2 x line life rings, an ACR Global Fix V4 EPIRBS unit, and a full complement of flares (Smoke / Rocket / Handheld). Medical readiness meets commercial standards with an MCA CatB Medical Kit, AED, and O2 Bottle onboard.

Refit log

The 2024 refit elevated lifestyle and longevity in equal measure. On deck, a new aft-facing glass bar was crafted behind the sun deck jacuzzi, paired with new bar stools, while a new 55” TV and a new forward seating table transformed the sun deck into an alfresco lounge. Teak was renewed on the jacuzzi step with elegant stainless detailing, heat-control film was applied to the bridge deck windows to temper the sun, and the swim step received fresh teak for a pristine finish. The bridge deck and sky lounge saw the gym thoughtfully converted into a sixth cabin with a queen bed, the TV console removed and the screen relocated to the forward wall, and an ensemble of all-new soft furnishings introduced throughout. On the main deck, the galley was reimagined with new cabinetry and flooring, a new oven and cooktop, and the master suite received new linens alongside new furniture and soft goods across the interior. Lower guest spaces benefited from upgraded king beds in the two aft cabins, together with new soft furnishings and linens. Electrically, the entire AV system was upgraded, including a new Starlink Wi‑Fi system. Under the waterline and in structure, the hull received bottom paint, Prop Speed, Naiad stabilizers’ seals and hoses, shafts and seals maintenance, and a Lightship Survey. Engineering highlights included servicing of air handlers and replacement of the black water treatment system.

The 2022 interior refit refreshed every guest touchpoint: all guest area walls and floors were revarnished, stone, marble, and leather were refurbished, galley surfaces were renewed, and on the bridge, floors were revarnished, surfaces repainted, and leather restored.

During winter 2019 / 2020, the yacht underwent a major technical renaissance. Both main engines were overhauled and rebuilt (back to zero hours at 4,000 hours; since rebuild, approximately 2,000 hours were added, followed by completion of the 2000-hour service in December 2022), alongside generator overhauls and rebuilds x2, reduction boxes rebuilds x2, PTO rebuilds x2, and renewal of Vulcan couplings x2. The main engine exhausts were replaced x2, engine room exhaust motors renewed x2 with associated ductwork, the water maker system overhauled including HP pumps, and the AC cooling system overhauled with per-compressor cut-offs and new pumps. Cooling pipework was renewed, various cooling pumps replaced, water tanks checked, and black & grey tanks checked and cleaned. Engine room deck plates were renewed, tanks cleaned, new black water pipework installed, AC units overhauled and de-sanitized, and a soft patch opened to facilitate exhaust removal. On deck, satellite domes and mast cables were replaced, the sun deck overhead canopy renewed, new fender holders installed to eliminate chafing, paintwork revitalized, the aft jacuzzi deck sub-structure and handrail strengthened, teak decking re-caulked, deck hatches re-sealed, exterior lockers cleaned and recoated and protected with mats, mooring deck winches received reinforced chassis to eliminate movement, safety equipment was overhauled and recoated, the sun deck wind breaker plexiglass renewed, and the chase tender was re-caulked, sealed, and detailed.
