Engine room & mechanical equipment

Twin Caterpillar 3412s received a major overhaul in September 2021, with approximately 1,082 hours SMOH on the port engine and 1,077 hours SMOH on the starboard. Comfort and control are enhanced by a Naiad 853 stabilizer system with hydraulic pumps and an American bow thruster. Fuel handling benefits from double Racor fuel filters and AC/DC fuel transfer pumps. Climate control is delivered by three Aqua Air five-ton A/C chillers. Freshwater and purity are supported by a Spot Zero 80 GPH watermaker with tank filler and a Spot Zero RO system. In 2024, a new Metcalf exhaust system with new risers, mufflers, and mixers was installed. Running gear includes Nibral five-bladed propellers, stainless-steel prop shafts of 4.25-inch diameter, ZF transmissions, Jastram hydraulic steering with dual rams, and spade-type rudders measuring 42 inches by 17 inches. Additional systems include a fiberglass exhaust system, an ElectroSea growth-prevention system, and two Headhunter Jet Pac freshwater systems—mechanical pedigree suited to a long-range motor yacht.

Crew quarters, forward

Forward of the galley below deck, the crew area comprises a captain’s cabin with a double berth, 32-inch TV, safe, and head, plus two crew cabins with twin berths, 32-inch TVs, and heads.
