Overview
Trades considered and financing available
She may not be the newest Contender afloat, but she is unquestionably the baddest—an authenticated tournament winner. This is the second 39ST with a gap tower ever built and one of the earliest contenders on the sailfish tournament circuit. The specification was meticulously crafted by a renowned captain/owner duo, delivering a purpose-built weapon with no detail overlooked. First time she’s ever been offered, and you will “never” find her equal. Over the last 11 years, top captains, mates, and anglers from the fishing and spearfishing world have run this beauty hard and with pride. Her pedigree, striking profile, and disciplined maintenance regimen say everything about this turn-key Center Console Sportfish—an Offshore, Bluewater, Open Fisherman, outboard-powered performance fishing machine that defines tournament-ready and, frankly, sells herself.
Detailed Description
Recent upgrades
Meticulously refreshed and carefully maintained, this boat now benefits from triple 2018 Yamaha 300s in white showing 970 hours; all-new Simrad electronics complemented by a new Simrad unit in the tower; new flywheels, plus new engine flywheels and belts; all new livewell and bilge pumps; a crisp new rub rail; upgraded lighting with new underwater, hardtop, and under-gunnel fixtures; fresh batteries paired with new built-in battery chargers; new VHF antennas painted to match the black tower; new props and lower units; a new Fusion head unit; all-new upholstery, with the exception of the bolsters and the forward coffin box; and a new Yamaha Command Link gauge at the lower station. Since delivery, the vessel has been kept on a consistent weekly wash and quarterly wax program, preserving its shine and mechanical integrity.
Features
Purpose-built for sportfishing days and elegant evenings, the boat features a 3 ft gap tower with a second station; Rupp single-spreader outriggers with teaser reels; a real-teak helm pod; a Release Marine 8-rod teak rocket launcher; a forward coffin box with an electric ram; a forward console cooler; a retractable rear insulated cooler; removable rear L-shape bench seating; a rear helm-seat tackle station; a rear cockpit sunshade; and custom covers for the engines, rocket launcher, helm seat, console, and forward console seat. Every detail is conceived to balance offshore capability with refined comfort.
Systems
Fishing systems and creature comforts are thoroughly sorted: four livewell pumps—two in the transom, one in the cockpit deck, with plumbing in place for a fourth removable bow livewell—are new, as are two bilge pumps and their float switches. Freshwater and saltwater washdown systems stand ready. The electric head offers an overboard discharge or holding tank option and includes a sink. Power management is robust with five batteries and two built-in chargers, all new. Night and deck visibility excel via four underwater lights—two aft and two down—with full color spectrum, strobe, and fade modes, and five Lumitec spreader lights—one forward and four aft—also new. Ambient illumination includes under-deck lighting, new under-gunnel lighting with full spectrum and strobe modes, and multi-color recessed lighting in all three hardtops. Six electric reel plugs complete the fishability brief.
Electronics
Integrated navigation and entertainment come courtesy of two Simrad NSE12 units with satellite weather, chartplotter, radar, sonar, and side-scanning sonar, plus one new Simrad NSE8 in the tower and a Simrad autopilot. Communications are handled by three ICOM VHF radios—two on the main deck and one in the tower—while awareness and security are enhanced by Ocean View night vision and a GOST security system. KVH satellite TV and a satellite phone keep you connected offshore. Audio is anchored by a new Fusion Apollo MS-RA670 head unit driving a JL Audio system with ten 7.7" speakers, two 6.5" speakers, two 10" subwoofers, and three amplifiers. Two Simrad NSS16 Evo2 units are also available, though not currently installed.
Engines
Power is delivered by triple 2018 Yamaha 300s in white with 970 hours, guided with precision by Uflex hydraulic steering and stabilized by hydraulic trim tabs for confident control at any speed.
