Overview
This custom-crafted luxury motor yacht was conceived for entertaining and passagemaking in style. She is a performance thoroughbred with no equal. Commissioned by a professional basketball star, her headroom exceeds eight feet throughout, imparting the sense of a far larger superyacht. Climate-controlled living areas total more than 1,800 square feet. Her gross interior volume, by displacement, rivals that of a 138' Westport. You truly must step aboard in person to appreciate the refinement, scale, and commanding presence of this yacht.
Detailed Description
Overview
Current survey is available for serious buyer review. With only 1,400 hours, she presents as a standout, benefiting from a massive 2018–2019 refit that renewed her mechanical and jet systems, electronics, SONOS stereo and speakers, TVs, interior spaces, flooring, decks, and hull paint. The Hamilton Jets received all‑new hardware and software, including new joysticks, and she was further enhanced with an upgraded bonding system. Fresh out of the yard in April 2023, she was treated to a new bottom job with three coats, an overhaul of the Hamilton Jet drives, all‑new batteries, a new flybridge top, all‑new cushions, and many more upgrades. Ready to cruise wherever you wish, she pairs triple Yanmar diesels with Hamilton jet drives to deliver an exceptional 2.5‑foot draft; you can sip fuel by cruising on the center motor alone, transforming her into the most economical cruiser available. Perfect for exploring the ICW and the Bahamas with absolute confidence, no other vessel this size can do what she can. Her interior layout offers four staterooms with ensuite heads plus a main‑deck day head, and a large bow storage area that could be configured as crew’s quarters—currently used for fishing equipment, redundant parts, toys, and more. Built for hospitality, she has effortlessly hosted over 125 guests, and her jacuzzi on the aft swim platform, together with two full wet bars on the flybridge and back deck, ensures every moment onboard is as stylish as it is unforgettable.
Vessel details
From 2018 through 2023, Island Soul benefited from a comprehensive refit with all receipts available, elevating every space aboard with thoughtful upgrades and refined finishes. In the salon, a new stereo and audio-visual suite with surround sound pairs to a 65-inch TV that rises seamlessly from the console, while new Hunter Douglas accordion-style blinds with a center opening at the entrance door slide open completely for cooler climates and are complemented by Hunter Douglas Silhouette stack-up UltraGlide blinds to port. The island was completely redesigned and moved forward three feet, flanked by new Lexington chairs and a new sectional sofa, and anchored by a Rene Cazarez ottoman and a Ralph Lauren coffee table that offer significant storage. Fresh wall coverings, new A/C vents, new flooring, and new LED lighting throughout complete the transformation.
Bridging the salon and galley, 3M window tinting now graces all doors and windows, and new Nordic screens refine both salon and galley entries. Overhead, new headliner panels and a new headliner present a crisp, tailored look, while new stainless steel kickplates protect the base of cabinets. Galley countertops have been resurfaced with an elegant stone overlay, the interior bar now matches that stone, and new aluminum blinds, new aluminum edging, and stainless over mirror backing elevate the aesthetic. New lighting fixtures, new flooring, and new LED lighting tie together this bright, modern gathering space.
In the pilothouse, navigation and control systems were modernized with a Furuno 15-inch chart plotter on the flybridge in 2019, a Furuno NavPilot 711c in 2019, a new transducer with digital depth, speed, and temperature sensor in 2019, a new joystick at the helm in 2019, a new color LCD instrument display in 2019, a new NavPilot control unit in 2019, and a new GPS/WAAS sensor in 2019. Comfort meets utility with a new couch bedframe featuring a hydraulic lift for storage, plus new cushions and fabric for the pilothouse couch, also known as the captain’s bed. A new carbon fiber instrument panel, new floor-mount pedestals and chairs, a new cabinet for the electronics bridge closet, refreshed wood and veneer, and new LED lighting round out this purposeful command center.
On the flybridge, new Furuno chart plotters integrate with the main helm for seamless redundancy, three new joysticks and a new screen enhance fingertip control, and new jet and bow thruster controls are paired with a wireless remote for added flexibility. A new custom light frame, new STIDD chairs, a replaced windscreen costing over 10,000, new nonskid, and a new U-Line refrigerator underscore both safety and convenience. The ice maker has been serviced with all-new water lines, and the social zone has been reimagined with new chaise lounges, a couch, bar stools, a dining table, and chairs; the bar counter has been resurfaced, and new LED lighting sets the ambiance.
Retreat to the master stateroom to find a new TV, a new mirror over the dresser, new wall sconces, a new headboard, a new vanity stool, and new carpet, while the master head features a resurfaced countertop, a new mirror, and new flooring for a refreshed, spa-like finish.
Mechanically, all three Hamilton Jet Drives were completely disassembled, rebuilt, and serviced in 2020 and again in 2023, following a 2018 Hamilton Jet Drives software upgrade that included a control panel expansion module, a maneuvering joystick module, and new cables. A new Jet Thruster 90/220 lb 48 V system with four joysticks, controllers, and remote control enhances low-speed precision. Power reserves were renewed with twenty-four new Odyssey batteries dedicated to jet thruster applications with new battery chargers installed 07/2022, and thirteen new Odyssey AGM batteries for the house, main engines, and generators in 06/2022. Reliability is bolstered by a new ECM for the center engine and a new Northstar engine for one of the generators with 1100 hours. Fuel tanks have been polished and cleaned. The davit was completely rebuilt and serviced with a new cover in 2018, with 20,000 spent, and all primary and secondary fuel filters, oil filters, and air filters were renewed in 2022.
The audio-visual backbone includes new Wi‑Fi with an unlimited cellular data hotspot, a new Apple TV Gen serving a pop-up 65-inch display, a new Sonos Connect Amp and new Sonos Connect, a new Pioneer receiver and a new Yamaha receiver, new Bose 7-inch and 5-inch ceiling speakers, a new Yamaha subwoofer, and new JL subs and JL speakers. A new Bluetooth adapter, a new HP laptop computer, a new iPad mini 4, a new server with backup, a new power UPS, and five new HD cameras with 360-degree panning and zoom provide robust entertainment, control, and surveillance.
The hull received a full paint job from waterline to toe rail, including the transom and boot stripe with accent lines, while below the waterline the bottom was sandblasted to the hull, epoxy primer coated, and finished with new bottom paint—three coats on the bottom and four on the sides. Eight new AquaLuma blue/white LED underwater lights add dramatic nighttime presence.
On the aft deck, new nonskid underfoot enhances safety, the island bar has been resurfaced with new electrical and lighting installed, and new barstools, chairs, and a table invite alfresco dining. New stereo speakers, new lighting fixtures, new ceilings, new LED lighting and fixtures, and new water lines for the ice maker refine this open-air lounge.
Throughout the interior, new mirrors grace the forward cabin head and sit above its dresser, a new mirror updates the twin head, and the VIP gains new mirrors on the wall and in the head. The day head has been redesigned with new wall coverings, a new mirror, and new flooring. New decorative mesh for A/C vents appears throughout, complemented by new soft goods and bed linens, new cornice boards, fabric, and headliners in all staterooms, and new flooring and carpet throughout. A new hot water heater ($4,500.00) was installed in 2021, along with new fresh water and dark water tanks, new water lines, and a new water conditioner. A new RO system arrived in 2022, as did a new RING camera system in 2022.
Power and ship’s systems are equally robust: three Northern Lights 20 kW 120/240 V generators show low hours, with one new in 2020, and the entire vessel can be run on only one. Air conditioning is a Dometic chilled-water system with zone controls, brand new with a two-year warranty, and the complete system—including piping—was redone in 2023. Shore power is via two 100-amp services with two power cords, though only one is required to operate. Fire safety is assured by an FM‑200 cylinder fire suppression system, USCG approved, along with twelve fire extinguishers, all inspected and updated in 2021.
Deck equipment includes a Nautical Structures manual/electric davit 24 VDC, all new LED underwater multi‑color lighting in 2018, new LED deck lighting in 2023, and new LED spreader lights in 2022. Ground tackle handling is upgraded with a new hydraulic winch for the windlass in 2021, visibility is ensured by an ACR searchlight (RCL‑100) new in 2019, and signaling authority comes from a Kahlenberg D2 air horn new in 2019. The aluminum-finish swim platform features a hydraulically actuated swim ladder with new hydraulics in 2022.
This rugged, exceedingly well-built motor yacht blends form and function in a way that makes her ideal for Bahamas cruising and other island hopping. Her shallow two-foot six-inch draft and Hamilton waterjet drives make operating across the Bahama Bank a breeze, while at the same time affording comfortable access to the many interesting harbors and anchorages often denied to deeper-draft vessels. With over eight feet of headroom and equally generous elbow room in all compartments, the Boundless 90 is well suited for extended time aboard. Her tiger wood finish and upgraded wall coverings make the interior inviting and relaxed, while the galley facilitates convivial gatherings of family and friends. Large main-deck dining and living/entertainment areas flow together to eliminate any feeling of confinement, and large windows plus truly full-sized doorways enhance the sense that she is far more expansive than her 90 feet LOA.
On the lower deck, four large staterooms—each with bath en suite and huge closets—provide sleeping and private lounging accommodations for eight, while an outsized laundry/utility room serves as a proper service center for hired crew or a charter party; the pilothouse couch can also be used as a crew bunk. Aft, the engine room houses triple Yanmar marine diesel engines coupled to Hamilton waterjet drives for shallow-water operation, exceptional maneuverability, and ultimate flexibility of speed, fuel consumption, and range. Run on all three engines for top speed and performance, rely on the two wing engines for moderate speeds and docking agility, or shift to the single centerline engine for passage-making efficiency and extended range. The engine room itself is very large and roomy, with nearly eight feet of headroom; engines and mechanical systems are readily accessible for proper maintenance, she has been kept in top condition since commissioning, and engine hours are very low.
On deck, full walkaround side decks enhance confidence and make docking and line handling a snap. A generous quarter deck is shaded for superb outdoor entertaining, while the exceedingly large boat deck accommodates a tender, jet skis, and other water toys with ample room still available around the flybridge control station. Measured in convenience, comfort, and relaxation, this distinctive, sensible motor yacht delivers a return on time higher than you’ve seen in a long while.
