Overview
“Current price” is an indicator only; every serious offer will be received with respect and care. The tug SEA MONSTER is built with an all-welded steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, combining commercial-strength pedigree with the bones of a future luxury conversion. She carries a raised forecastle and an elevated aft main deck flowing to a rounded transom, while a forward-set, raised pilothouse crowns the uppermost level for commanding visibility and classic workboat presence suited to an expedition yacht, explorer yacht, trawler-style motor yacht, or distinctive support vessel.
Below the main deck lie four watertight compartments beginning with the forepeak and chain locker, followed by a stateroom zone with tankage beneath, then the machinery space, and an after section. The main deck itself is arranged with a generous forward stateroom, moving aft to a sizable galley and then a large salon. The salon is encircled by a full walk-around side deck to port and starboard, continuing aft for effortless circulation and indoor–outdoor flow—an ideal canvas for a liveaboard yacht, boutique charter concept, or upscale floating hospitality venue.
Above the main deck are two further levels. The second deck positions the owner’s stateroom forward, followed by an upper salon that opens to an expansive aft terrace—an inviting platform for al fresco dining, entertainment, or tender and toy stowage befitting a superyacht refit. The third deck is the pilothouse, accessed via interior stairs, leading aft to the stack and an open deck framed by stainless-steel rails, offering sweeping views and ample room for navigation electronics or custom seating in a future luxury yacht finish.
As to her present state, SEA MONSTER offers a rare, clean-slate opportunity. The interior has been intentionally left without finish work, and there are no oils, plumbing, wiring, lighting, machinery, or interior fit-out aboard. The hull is reported in very good condition and was acquired with the vision of completing her as a floating restaurant; she remains equally compelling as a high-end explorer conversion, long-range passagemaker, or liveaboard retreat. With over 7,000 square feet of usable area, she is primed for a designer or shipyard to realize a custom refit that blends commercial reliability with refined yacht craftsmanship.
A trailer is not part of this sale. Please rely on your own inspection to satisfy all questions regarding scope and condition prior to making an offer, and bid according to what is present at the time of viewing. Professional marine transport can be arranged domestically and internationally, including custom cradles and port delivery for overseas shipment, to support a streamlined yard transfer or refit timeline.
No representations are made regarding motors, engines, or machinery. Any images of compartments or equipment are provided solely for reference; it is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect and determine actual condition. Do not assume accessories or loose gear are included or in storage; the vessel is sold strictly as seen. Details are offered in good faith but are not guaranteed, and the yacht remains subject to prior sale, price revision, or withdrawal without notice. All marine assets—brokered or owned—are sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, including no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and no verbal agreements shall alter the terms of sale.
Detailed Description
General description
The tug SEA MONSTER is built with an all-welded steel hull and an aluminum superstructure. Her profile features a raised forecastle deck and a raised main deck aft that fair into a rounded transom, while a raised pilothouse crowns the vessel forward on the second deck. Below the main deck, the vessel is arranged into four watertight compartments, including the forepeak with chain locker, a stateroom area with tankage beneath, and the engine room. On the main deck, a large forward stateroom is followed by the galley and then the main salon, which is encircled by a full exterior walk-around along the port and starboard sides and across the aft. Above the main deck rise two additional levels. The second deck carries the owner’s stateroom forward and an upper salon that opens to an aft open deck. The third deck comprises the pilothouse, reached by an interior stairway, with the stack abaft and an open aft deck surrounded by stainless-steel handrails.
Actual condition
The tug SEA MONSTER is offered as a true blank canvas. The interior has no fit-out or finish, and the hull is in very good condition; there are no oils aboard and no interior build, finish work, plumbing, wiring, lighting, or machinery installed. The current owner had intended to complete the vessel as a floating restaurant. Presenting a clean platform of over 7,000 square feet, she is ready for a new owner to shape to purpose. Prospective buyers are encouraged to inspect carefully before making an offer.
