Detailed Description

Vessell walkthrough

Step two steps down below and the scene opens with the galley to port, the private head through a door to starboard, and the inviting v‑berth forward. The interior is virtually untouched, showcasing classic Herreshoff white bulkheads, warm teak trim, and a gleaming teak‑and‑holly sole. The Herreshoff finish is framed by four port windows and an overhead hatch that flood the space with light, while a Sony X‑plod stereo drives two cabin speakers to set the perfect onboard soundtrack.

To port, the galley offers generous counter space outfitted with a Kenyon‑Kiss butane stovetop and a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water. Storage is abundant, with two drawers and two cabinets beneath the counter, complemented by two cubbies and additional outboard compartments. Thoughtful details elevate daily use: a Tundra 12v refrigerator, a dedicated trash bin, extra task lighting, and a convenient 12v plug. The entire workspace is centered on a port window for natural light and a pleasant view while preparing meals.

Forward lies the v‑berth, complete with a filler cushion, an overhead hatch, two reading lamps, and a dedicated pair of cabin speakers. Stowage is impressively organized, with a full‑length hanging locker aft, continuous shelving to port and starboard, and two cubby compartments beneath the berth. The berth itself measures 6’3”, and there is direct access to the anchor locker.

Aft of the berth to starboard, the head feels exceptional for this size class, featuring a VacuFlush toilet rarely seen on boats of these dimensions, a shower, a sump pump, and a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water. Teak hull strips add warmth and nautical character, joined by a window port and two cabinets for tidy storage.

On the hull, Flag Green Awlgrip and red bottom paint present a crisp, timeless profile. A varnished teak swim platform, varnished toe rails, and a stainless swimming ladder underscore the yacht’s practical elegance, while a Sidepower bow thruster stands ready for precise maneuvering. Up on deck, a varnished teak anchor pulpit and Maxwell 500 windlass anchor the anchoring package, supported by two stainless bow cleats, two stainless spring cleats, and two stainless stern cleats. A removable varnished teak cockpit table with a fitted cover invites alfresco moments, complemented by a flagstaff with ensign, a burgee pole, and two outside speakers.

At the helm, navigation and control are intuitive and confidence‑inspiring: a Northstar 952X GPS/plotter, Raymarine tridata fathometer, and Simrad r587 VHF with speaker keep you fully informed, while an AFI air horn, Bennett trim tabs, and two windshield wipers enhance safety and visibility. A remote control for the windlass, Sidepower bow thruster control, and a Sony stereo remote round out a thoroughly considered command station.

Mechanically, a Yanmar 6LPA‑DTP 260hp engine shows 360 hours and drives a direct‑drive shaft equipped with a rope cutter. A large, very clean Racor filter underpins reliable fuel delivery. Capacity is substantial, with 132 gallons of fuel carried in two 66‑gallon aluminum diesel tanks, a 23‑gallon water bladder, and a 15 gallon holding tank.

Electrical systems are smartly divided for simplicity and reliability. On 12v, you’ll find a panel with illuminated switches, a DC voltmeter, two Rule bilge pumps, the refrigerator, the Vacuflush head system, the bow thruster, and the windlass. On 110v, the yacht provides a water heater, a battery charger (StartPower True Charge 20), and a 30A shore power inlet.
