The boat is NMMA Certified and features a self-bailing cockpit, no wood construction, and high-density, closed-cell structural foam flotation. The hull laminate is made with premium gel coat, vinyl-ester barrier, and knitted bi-axle fiberglass, while the high-density composite transom and perfectly mated hull liner and deck add to its long-term durability. The hull liner is completely finished inside, with molded-in diamond non-skid surfaces for safety.

The Everglades 253 Center Console is equipped with molded-in and oversized rigging troughs for easy access, ABS backing for self-tapping screws and bolts, and an aluminum framework fabricated in-house, sandblasted, and powder-coated using premium marine-grade materials. Wire harnesses are manufactured in-house with marine-grade materials, and all electrical circuits are protected by circuit breakers or fuses. The boat features a heavy-duty rub rail with a 316 stainless steel insert and end caps, 316 cast stainless steel and chrome-plated fasteners for additional corrosion and stain resistance, and all hardware is bedded or gasketed to resist corrosion. The console of the Everglades 253 Center Console features a patented hydraulic sliding windshield with tempered glass and an intelligent wiper and washer system.
