Description

The new FB 38’ STAB SF draws on the extensive experience of FB DESIGN, the world’s leading exponent of high‑performance patrol boats. Its Kevlar hull employs FB Design’s patented “Structural Foam” technology, making the boat unsinkable and exceptionally stable. With a total of 52 World Championships to the yard’s name, performance is in its DNA, and M/Y F11 can reach 65 knots. The striking full black and silver livery turns heads, while comfort is assured with two sunbeds (one in the front and one in the back) and two Tecno double seats. Maintained year round and presented in turn‑key condition.

Extras and refits

A stainless‑steel bimini extension shades both stern and bow when at anchor, while two new bilge pumps were installed in October 2020 and the bilge marine wood panels were renewed and repainted. A new FUSION Bluetooth entertainment system arrived in 2020, the helm has been equipped with 4 TECNODOM seats, and a new anchor with a stainless‑steel electric windlass was fitted in 2019. Upholstery was renewed in 2019, complemented by an extra bow and stern sunbed and new sun cushions, and NEW black inflatable RIB tubes (value approximately 11,000€) are included in the price. Antifouling on the hull was applied in December 2023, followed by a comprehensive engine service in spring 2024. The engine cover was painted black, the engine room/bilge area was cleaned and painted, and the anchor buttons were cleaned and sanitized. New navigation lights were installed, the pilot and co‑pilot seats were dismantled, sanded, primed and painted, and the engines were dismantled so the plate attaching the engines to the hull could be reinforced before reinstallation. The exterior upholstery is NEW, the fenders wear new covers, the new boat name “F11” has been applied to port and starboard, and a new set of engine trim hoses has been fitted.

FB Design was established in 1971 by Fabio Buzzi, a mechanical engineer and offshore pilot, to study and build high‑performance motorboats and marine transmissions known as Trimax drives, now produced in partnership with the German ZF Corporation. In the last 15 years, FB Design has developed a full range of military boats adopted by leading Military and Coast Guard organisations worldwide, underpinned by an impressive series of patents covering hulls, drives, propellers, gearboxes, waterjets and gas turbines. Although production is now mainly oriented to the military, the company continues to build very fast leisure boats for highly demanding clients who require both extreme performance and reliability.
