Detailed Description

Description

The Squadron 58 is a flybridge motor yacht that unites elegant design and everyday usability with rare precision. Sleek, timeless lines suggest confident performance, while the sporty profile opens to an inviting, well-planned interior worthy of a luxury cruiser. A practical three-cabin, two-head layout maximizes space, with an airy midship galley, a generous lazarette, and a large flybridge offering plentiful seating. Multiple refrigerators and a full-beam laundry and storage room with an additional freezer make extended cruising easy, whether you’re day boating on the bay or spending a week in Avalon. A deep-V hull and twin Caterpillar 800-hp engines deliver swift, composed passages, turning long legs into relaxed runs. Comfortable handling, smart ergonomics, and abundant amenities suit both seasoned owners and first-time buyers. Whether you’re a cruising couple or a family making memories, this refined motor yacht fits beautifully into your plans as a flybridge yacht, family cruiser, and performance cruiser.

Interior

Inside, vinyl headliner and wall coverings create a clean, durable finish, complemented by carpeted soles with hard-wearing laminate in working areas. Rich cherry paneling and cabinetry bring warmth and depth throughout, while Corian counters provide a sleek, resilient work surface worthy of a premium motor yacht.

Topsides

A molded fiberglass swim platform spans the stern, with recessed storage to port and starboard for tidy gear stowage. Courtesy lights on both sides ease night boarding, complemented by a starboard dockside water connector. Robust stern cleats and stainless-steel grab rails run port and starboard, alongside a television/telephone shore connector and a convenient twelve-volt outlet. A port locker houses a shower head on a hose with hot and cold water, while a centerline Besenzoni passerelle streamlines boarding. Twin transom gates to port and starboard provide flexible access.

Flybridge

Up top, three courtesy lights set the scene, while a radar scanner, twin horn trumpets, and a loud hailer horn enhance awareness. A KVH TracVision4 antenna, plus VHF and GPS antennas, keep you connected and informed. Forward and stern navigation lights, an anchor light, and an aft floodlight round out a well-equipped flybridge for confident cruising.

Aft deck

The aft deck features teak laid over fiberglass for secure footing, under a fiberglass overhead with nine recessed lights. A boat hook is stowed in brackets on the starboard overhead, and a port-side overhead panel places light switches within easy reach. Courtesy lights, bollard cleats, and Lewmar warping winches with foot switches are fitted to port and starboard, joined by water fill caps on both sides. Lockers to port and starboard include docking line hangers and a 110-volt outlet, with two teak-tread steps each side leading to the side decks. A six-step ladder with stainless-steel rail on the port side leads to the flybridge. Centerline, you’ll find a storage hatch aft of the engine room hatch, and forward, the main engine room hatch itself. A cushioned aft bench provides access to the lazarette. Finishing touches include an eight-inch ship’s bell to port, a port-mounted cradle with a six-person Revere life raft, and stainless-steel grab rails along both sides.

Lazarette

Accessed from the aft deck, the lazarette is naturally lit by port and starboard portholes and served by two overhead lights. Mounts for spare propellers and an outboard motor keep critical gear organized. Systems include a Mastervolt Mass 24/50 battery charger, dual Par-Maxx water pumps with accumulator, dual hydraulic trim tab motors, and a Besenzoni hydraulic unit. Steering and control gear are close at hand with a hydraulic steering actuator, rudder angle indicator sender, autopilot feedback sensor, and autopilot drive pump. An electric/automatic bilge pump stands by, and Type II life jackets are stored here for safety.

Engine room

Entered from the aft deck via a stainless-steel ladder, the engine room houses six twelve-volt batteries in a vented box and a forty-five–pound FM-200 cylinder. Bilge protection includes an electric/automatic bilge pump and a forward auxiliary electric manual bilge pump. A Reverso oil change pump simplifies service, while a Mastervolt Mass 24/100 battery charger supports ship’s power. The hydraulic steering reservoir features a pressure gauge and cooler. Domestic systems include an electric water heater and a 21.5 kW Onan generator. Climate control is provided by a chilled-water air conditioning system with two compressors, a raw-water pump, and a chilled-water pump. Fuel quality is managed by Separ filters on each engine and a Racor filter for the generator, and shore supply is conditioned through an Acme shore power transformer.

Salon

The salon welcomes you with a carpeted sole and vinyl overhead panels accented by wood trim, two handrails, ten recessed lights, and two stereo speakers. Aft draperies pair with wood blinds to port and starboard for light control. To starboard, a Marine Air air-conditioning control panel sits beside a curved leather sofa with access to the air handler and a storage drawer. Comfort touches include a table lamp, a glass-top coffee table, and a glass-and-bottle cabinet with nearby handrails. Entertainment and convenience are well covered with a U-Line icemaker, a Panasonic television with built-in DVD/VCR behind pocket doors, a Sony XRC7500R AM/FM receiver, and a Sony ten-CD changer. System control switches labeled 2 heat, off, and cool are within reach, along with two additional storage drawers and a central vacuum inlet.

Galley

A step down from the salon, the galley features a vinyl-impregnated laminate sole with a rug and an inboard stainless-steel and cherry handrail. Storage lockers outboard keep supplies organized, and there is direct access to the laundry room. The molded countertop has lids that reveal twin stainless-steel sinks, a Hansgrohe Allegra hot/cold faucet, a Whirlpool garbage disposal, and a waste discharge sticker. Appliances include a Sharp Carousel Grill 2 convection/microwave oven, a Miele G811SC dishwasher, a EuroEngel refrigerator/freezer, a Whirlpool four-burner electric cooktop, and a Whirlpool work light/exhaust fan above the stove. Wood blinds dress the windows, and an access hatch leads to the air-conditioning air handler and the Wal-Vac central vacuum system. China place settings with Fairline emblems complete this refined motor yacht galley.

Laundry room

Just off the galley, the laundry room has a vinyl sole with carpeting and two steps up to the galley level. It is fitted with a EuroEngel freezer and a Splendide comb-o-matic 6100 washer/dryer. A porthole with wood blinds brings in light, while vinyl overhead panels with five recessed lights keep the space bright. A work table with basket-style drawers adds practical storage.

Dining

The dining area sits on soft carpeting beneath vinyl overhead panels with four recessed lights and a wood-trim panel above with two more lights. A curved benchseat wraps a custom wood table, perfect for relaxed meals under way. The ship’s electric distribution panel with vessel schematic is close by, with Venetian blinds to port and starboard, a serving bar to the galley, and five steps that lead directly up to the flybridge.
