Machinery
Engineered for dependable blue-water performance, the yacht is powered by two Caterpillar 3512 DITA main engines with a top-end completed in 2021, showing Port – 11,386 hours (Mar 2025) and Starboard – 11,711 hours (Mar 2025). Power is transmitted through robust Reintjes gear boxes, while onboard generation is handled by two 90 kW Caterpillar 3304 gensets, both rebuilt, with Port – 3,869 hours (Mar 2025) and Starboard – 3,861 hours (Mar 2025). The vessel’s electrical backbone is a 120/208V AC, three-phase, 60-cycle system supported by an ASea shore power converter for seamless global connectivity. Precision low-speed control comes via a Schottel 33 kW two‑speed, reversible electric bow thruster, and comfort underway is assured by Vosper stabilizers (underway). Climate control is delivered by Aqua Marine chillers installed new in 2023, with fresh water autonomy enhanced by Sea Recovery water makers rated at 1800 GPD. Waste handling is managed by the Head Hunter MSD, deck operations are supported by a MarQuipt davit (serviced 2025), and critical redundancy includes diesel-driven emergency fire and emergency bilge pumps.
