Vessel walkthrough

Enter Resolute through either the port or starboard sliding side doors into the lower helm and salon, where a full array of electronics awaits. Aft of this command center, the expansive salon welcomes sea breezes through opening windows on both sides. Continue aft through a door to the generous aft deck, fully enclosed with EZ2CY across the stern and framed by sliding glass windows to port and starboard. At the starboard aft corner, descend three steps to the cockpit, then pass through the transom door to the fiberglass swim platform. From the aft deck, re-enter the salon or step out through either port or starboard wing doors to the wide walk-around decks, which lead forward to the front deck offering abundant seating and storage, including two bow boxes, a large built-in bow seat, and a spacious sunning pad.

From the starboard side of the lower helm, proceed forward and down a few steps to the large galley, appointed with full-size appliances and a built-in dining table that seats four. Forward of the galley lies the third stateroom or crew’s quarters. Aft of the galley and down are the second stateroom and the master stateroom, with the second guest stateroom positioned midship to port. Continuing aft are the two main engine rooms, followed by the full-beam master featuring an en suite head.

Main salon

Positioned aft of the helm area, the main salon forgoes a full-height separation bulkhead, creating an inviting sense of openness with all-around outside visibility. Definition between the salon and lower station is subtly provided by the helm seat and an integrated entertainment center. On the salon side of the helm seat, a large mounted smart TV pairs with stereo equipment and built-in storage cabinets. The space is fully carpeted, with a large custom L-shaped suede sectional anchoring the aft port corner beside a wooden end table and lamp, while a custom barrel chair sits forward. Centered before the couch, a high-gloss varnished hi/lo teak coffee table features fold-out leaves. To starboard, two upholstered swivel chairs are separated by a wooden table and lamp. Window treatments include horizontal blinds complemented by fabric-covered cornice boards.

Galley

The thoughtfully appointed galley features a full-size Kenmore refrigerator and freezer, a Modern Maid four-burner stove with oven, and a Modern Maid dishwasher, all set against granite counters with an under-mount stainless sink and disposal. A built-in Panasonic microwave oven adds convenience, while oak parquet hardwood flooring lends warmth and classic yacht character. To starboard, a comfortable dinette booth with a custom wood table invites casual meals, and large opening windows on both sides, dressed with custom fabric blinds, bathe the space in natural light and fresh sea air.

Master stateroom

Approached via a wood-planked companionway, the staterooms are carpeted for comfort while the heads feature durable vinyl flooring. The master presents a king-sized bed with a custom fabric-covered headboard, complemented by a coordinated bedspread, shams, curtains, and valances. To port, a three-quarter-height dresser offers plentiful drawer storage alongside a smart TV and stereo equipment, and there are two cedar-lined closets. To starboard, a three-quarter-height dresser pairs with a settee to create a balanced, functional layout. The head includes a custom enclosed toilet, an enclosed shower/tub, and a mirrored full vanity with an opening porthole and storage behind it. This large stateroom is bright and airy with four opening portholes and a large opening window on the aft bulkhead.

Guest stateroom - forward

This fully carpeted forward guest stateroom presents twin bunks dressed in custom canvas covers, bedspreads, and shams, framed by rich teak paneling and vinyl wall coverings, with a wooden floor and a built-in dresser providing practical elegance. Forward, there is access to the rope locker for the windlass, while a private bath with a stall shower and a cedar hanging locker enhance comfort and organization. Natural light and fresh air flow through three opening portholes, complemented by an overhead opening hatch.

Guest stateroom - midship

This inviting midship guest stateroom features twin beds dressed in custom bedspreads and shams with matching drapes, anchored by a built-in nightstand between them topped with a designer lamp. A large cedar-lined hanging closet complements a wealth of drawers and overhead storage, while a custom-mounted Toshiba TV provides onboard entertainment. The head across the hall services this stateroom and also functions as the day head, and just forward of it you will find a cedar-lined linen closet and a Kenmore stacked washer and dryer.

Wheelhouse

The wheelhouse is comprehensively outfitted for confident passagemaking, featuring a Furuno FCR-1411 72-mile color radar paired with a Garmin GPSMAP 7212 chartplotter and a Garmin GHC 10 autopilot, while a Naiad Marine stabilizer control panel and a Robertson RI 101 rudder angle indicator deliver precise control and feedback. Communications are handled by an Icom IC M100 VHF marine radio complemented by an Icom Command-mic 11, and traditional navigation is backed by a Danforth 8-inch Constellation compass set in a stainless binnacle. Additional aids include a Cybernet CTX 1000 hailer/horn, a Datamarine International Offshore depth sounder, a Jabsco searchlight control, and an overhead remote chart light. At the helm, engine gauges, fuel tank gauges, and intuitive engine controls keep vital information front and center, while comfort is ensured by a large helm seat with a fold-out footrest and chart drawers. Flybridge

Aft, a 13' 1986 Boston Whaler with outboard engine sits ready on deck, served by an electric low-profile davit. An L-shaped cushioned seating area, with covers and generous under-seat storage, separates the tender from the forward social zone, complemented by additional seating to the opposite side, all similarly protected and practical. A large L-shaped varnished table anchors this convivial space, while forward a varnished-top wet bar with icemaker and refrigerator ensures effortless entertaining. Aft deck

Fully enclosed for comfort in any weather, the aft deck features two wing doors leading to the forward walkways, complemented by sliding glass side panels and EZ2CY enclosures aft to create a bright, protected retreat. Entertaining is effortless with a full wet bar, ice maker, refrigerator, and ample storage, while the seating area invites relaxation with an area rug, a couch, two chairs, and two wood end tables. Thoughtful touches such as effects lighting and a brass ship’s bell enhance the nautical ambiance, and there is convenient access to both the bridge and the cockpit.

Cockpit

You will be very comfortable in either of the two overstuffed wicker chairs, set around a matching wicker end table. Practicality meets polish with two flush-mounted rod holders, cockpit lights, and a freshwater washdown, along with convenient access to the lighted lazarette. The fiberglass swim platform, reached through the transom door, features a stainless swim ladder, two mounts for mooring whips, and two cleats for tender tie-up.

Deck and hull equipment

At the bow, a fiberglass pulpit with a teak insert is crowned by a sturdy bow rail and serviced by a freshwater washdown, while ground tackle is confidently managed by a CQR anchor and a Galley Maid windlass spooled with two hundred feet of chain. Marquipt boarding steps and a ladder are neatly stowed on either side beneath the side-deck handrails, which are beautifully varnished. The foredeck is thoughtfully appointed with two dunnage boxes on the bow, a forward seat complete with cushions and cover, and a large sunning pad with its own protective cover.

Engine and mechanical

Engineered for reliability, the machinery spaces feature a Glendenning synchronizer managing the main engines, supported by two 20kw Onan generators. Climate control is assured by five Cruisair air conditioning / heat pumps, governed by five thermostats with fan speed control located in the salon, galley, forward stateroom, side stateroom, and master stateroom. Fuel delivery and filtration are robust, with dual Racor fuel filters on engines and Racor filters for the generators, while Air Seps on the main engines enhance breathing efficiency. Freshwater systems are complemented by water filters, and maintenance is simplified with oil change systems for engines and generators, electric fuel priming pumps for engines, and a custom mounted tool box. Handling and ride are refined by Bennett trim tabs, Naiad Stabilizers, Hydraulic Steering, and Hynotic Engine Controls, with additional readiness from engine block heaters. Deck and utility equipment include a Jabsco searchlight, Galleymaid heads, a Kenmore Stack clothes washer and dryer, a 40 gallon White water heater, and a GalleyMaid electric windlass.

This boat has been in the Great Lakes in freshwater since 2010, a pedigree that speaks to a gentle environment and meticulous stewardship. Resolute is in a class of her own when it comes to condition, having been owned for a number of years by an experienced Great Lakes yachtsman. Each year she is placed in heated storage for approximately seven months, during which all necessary maintenance and upgrading is completed. Her paint presents in good condition and her updated interior is fresh and clean, making her well worth the trip to Michigan.
