Detailed Description
Additional information
“H2OME” is a 2013 Hatteras 80 Motor Yacht that was custom built as one of the very first 80MYs to leave the Hatteras factory with a bespoke hardtop, a reimagined bridge layout and a modern décor package unlike any sistership. Her dark grey Alexseal-painted hull sides with a matching swept-back radar arch heighten a sleek, aggressive profile, while a pair of upgraded CAT C32A diesels rated at 1925 BHP deliver effortless performance in concert with hydraulic zero-speed stabilizers and powerful hydraulic bow and stern thrusters. The four-stateroom arrangement features a full-beam midship master with his-and-her heads, a queen VIP, and custom-configured port and starboard guest staterooms; crew quarters aft sleep three to four with a private captain’s cabin and an additional cabin with bunks. The entire yacht glows with LED lighting and boasts Aqualuma underwater illumination (originally eight lights installed; the current specification lists ten—four aft and three per side), and the upgraded Soundown insulation beneath every sole makes the interior impressively quiet at sea.
Her deck plan is enriched by a custom hydraulic swim platform by Nautical Structures, teak steps up to the aft deck and down to the platform, and a custom full stand-up transom shower with hot and cold water—each called out as an upgrade—plus an aft flybridge teak decking upgrade and AJ Originals high-gloss teak tabletops and a teak bar on the aft deck. A fold-down wing station to port enhances docking finesse, and a custom-built, electric, straight stainless-steel salon door adds a full 24 inches of extra aft deck space and slides with satisfying precision. On the main deck, the country galley centers around an island with stone countertops, a wine cooler, abundant storage, a full-size refrigerator/freezer with additional Sub-Zero freezer drawers, and a drawer fridge, while Fisher & Paykel dishwashers handle clean-up; the adjacent dinette presents a large stone-topped table on stainless legs. A main-level day head serves guests, and a generous stairwell carries you down to the midship master where custom hull windows with electric Oceanair/Skysol day–night blinds flood the suite with light; the master includes a safe, an upgraded AV package and an Isotherm fridge amidst furniture in satin-finished walnut. The VIP offers a queen berth and a large head, while the two remaining guest cabins each convert from twin singles to a double for flexible sleeping. Above, the custom flybridge extends its coverage under a vast electric sunroof; the helm enclosure in Seacrylic glazing is air conditioned, flanked by companion STIDD seating to starboard and enveloped by a large U-shaped lounge opposite a generous port-side bar with T-back stools. Two large Frigbar freezers and a custom four-burner grill join AJ Originals high-gloss teak bar, dining and freezer tops. Forward, the bow lounge creates a deep U-shaped social zone with storage beneath, while generous walkaround side decks simplify line handling and movement fore and aft; she is eminently suited to charter or to a pampered family-and-friends program, with a proper aft crew area for three to four, its own washer/dryer and a Sea Recovery Aquamatic 1800 GPD watermaker for extended cruising.
The Hatteras 80’s exterior architecture is as sophisticated as it is seaworthy. A convex, “warped” hull bottom with a sharp forward entry and variable deadrise that flattens near the transom softens impact in head seas and rides with a composure the brand is famous for; flatter aft sections reduce resistance to improve low-speed handling and increase stability on plane. Purposeful strakes bisect the stagnation line to add lift and sharpen tracking, while double chines and a flared bow cast spray well clear of the deck—there is quite simply no finer ride. Beneath, a solid-fiberglass bottom with robust support in the tunnel, shaft log and strut zones meets hull sides, decks and superstructure infused with Divinycell coring for stiffness and weight savings; large propeller tunnels reduce draft and boost efficiency. Elegant curved windows, a rakish arch and three oval master-portlights combine to form the yacht’s unmistakable, assertive profile. Outdoor living peaks on the upper deck: the expansive flybridge carries a 1,500‑pound hydraulic davit, a helm with a full electronics suite and computerized monitoring, a giant wet bar to port with three bar stools, refrigerator, sink and icemaker, opposing aft L-settees that gather a crowd, a vast sun pad with storage beneath, and a chef-pleasing Gaggenau double-burner grill. Aft, molded stairs descend to an accommodating aft deck where a large table and lounge capture the view whether at anchor or underway, with overhead lighting and that curved, stainless-framed sliding door accenting the scene; molded stairwells to port and starboard with stainless gates lead to the “sport deck” swim platform, where a watertight door grants direct access to the crew quarters and the engine room.
Inside, luxury is immediate and enveloping. Polished stainless curved sliding doors open to a voluminous salon that benefits from the yacht’s 21'3" beam; a wet bar greets you, matched by a full entertainment center with a massive flatscreen. Custom furnishings include a storage-rich sectional sofa, club chairs and a grand china cabinet—all set against genuine African mahogany laminates in either satin or high-gloss finish. Dining is elevated around an oval table with decorative mahogany inlays beneath a mirrored headliner, with a generous china allowance provided as standard and a wine cooler available. In the forward gourmet galley, granite countertops and backsplashes pair durable function with timeless style, supporting a full appliance suite that includes dishwashers, a trash compactor, a Sub‑Zero upright refrigerator, a microwave, a full-size oven and a four-burner ceramic cooktop. The pilothouse is a driver’s dream thanks to a sporty bridge design, excellent sightlines through two oversized windshields, leather pedestal helm seats and two elevated settees, with a sliding pocket door to separate it from the dining area; a starboard day head is close at hand, and locking pantograph doors lead to both side decks. The crown jewel, the full-beam master, capitalizes on its six oversize portlights and near-waterline views; a king berth with custom headboard, two nightstands, a double-sided dresser, arched doors and a flatscreen TV with CD/DVD define the suite, while aft, the master head gleams with granite or marble flooring, counters and shower. An enticing optional configuration delivers true his-and-hers heads with separate entryways, dual vanities and a shared shower. The main guest stateroom to port pampers with a queen berth on a coil-spring mattress dressed in plush linens, pneumatic-rams-assisted storage, abundant drawers and cabinets, and a private head with granite or marble finishes and a soaking tub with sliding door. Additional guests relax in a spacious bow stateroom with queen berth and a starboard stateroom offering multiple bunk options. Standard crew quarters abaft the engine room comprise a single stateroom with walkaround queen and a separate sitting area, with cedar-lined lockers, a flatscreen TV, sink and microwave ensuring self-sufficiency.
On the sport deck, an upgraded Nautical Structures hydraulic swim platform forms the centerpiece, accompanied by upgraded custom chocks for a jet ski, an upgraded custom full stand-up transom shower with hot and cold mixing, four upgraded pop-up cleats, a freshwater washdown at the platform with hose connection, an additional hot/cold handheld shower, molded fiberglass steps with DC LED lighting up to the aft deck, and a watertight bustle door into the crew space and engine room. The aft deck itself gleams with an upgraded teak deck, upgraded AJ Originals high-gloss split teak tabletops with covers, an upgraded high-gloss teak bar countertop to starboard above an upgraded custom bar with sink, faucet and storage, an upgraded Isotherm frost-free refrigerator in the bar, three upgraded Summit Furniture lounge chairs with upgraded covers, upgraded dimmable overhead LED lighting, an upgraded JL Audio soundscape with four speakers and a subwoofer driven by an upgraded 700‑watt JL Audio amplifier and controlled via an upgraded Fusion stereo remote, upgraded seating for eight, upgraded port and starboard boarding gates, upgraded teak steps to the hydraulic swim platform and to the flybridge, and the upgraded custom-built electric straight stainless salon door that increases aft deck area by 24 inches. Waterproof switches, upgraded Tide Ride ladder brackets, and an upgraded fold-down wing station to port round out the deck-handling refinements, while two upgraded GOST mini fixed-dome cameras feed the helm. Molded bench seating with cushions and covers, DC LED overhead lighting, steps to both side decks, a door and stairwell to the crew/engine room, and a freshwater washdown outlet complete the arrangement.

Four upgraded throw pillows, upgraded Whisper Wall window frames in Legend Finesse Pearl Platinum, upgraded electric Hunter Douglas blinds in Misty Almond through salon and dining, upgraded satin walnut straight window valances, an upgraded continuous pocket and curtain rod for the aft door, and upgraded stainless wall sconces refine the mood.
