Overview

74-foot Hatteras-designed motor yacht, built in 1999 and lying in the United States, presenting timeless pedigree, commanding presence, and the assured performance that discerning cruisers expect. With an 18-foot beam lending remarkable volume and stability, this is a yacht that blends classic American craftsmanship with confident offshore capability and a warm, gracious onboard experience.

Underway, the modified V-hull delivers a composed, efficient ride, while twin Caterpillar diesel inboards provide the muscle for a brisk 23-knot cruise and exhilarating 26-knot top end. Long coastal runs and island-hops are comfortably within reach thanks to substantial tankage—approximately 1,596 gallons of fuel and 345 gallons of fresh water—giving you the freedom to choose the horizon rather than chase it. The Hatteras design ethos is evident in the hull’s integrity and the all-fiberglass deck construction: strong, quiet, and built to go the distance.

Step aboard to discover generous proportions shaped by her beam and length—ideal for entertaining in style or unwinding in seclusion. The salon invites conversation and relaxed gathering, framed by wide sightlines and natural light. A well-situated galley supports effortless service and casual dining, while private accommodations are arranged to offer restful retreats for extended cruising. Thoughtfully planned deck spaces encourage outdoor living, from morning coffee at anchor to sunset cocktails after a spirited run, with safe passage around the vessel and a commanding helm that offers excellent visibility and control.

This yacht balances speed with grace and substance with sophistication, striking the perfect note for owners who value both spirited performance and elegant comfort. Whether you’re cruising bluewater routes, weekending along the coast, or hosting on the hook, her combination of seakeeping, range, and volume sets her apart—an enduring classic with a modern yachting heartbeat.

Detailed Description

Layout

The aft deck is shaded by a hardtop and arranged for effortless entertaining with a table and four chairs, all encircled by custom low-height rails that preserve uninterrupted views. From the starboard quarter, a graceful set of curved stairs descends to the swim platform, while a large transom locker swallows gear with ease. An all-glass aft salon bulkhead with double sliding doors invites you inside.

Stepping into the salon, an inviting L-shaped settee with coffee table to port faces a comfortable club chair to starboard. A new custom entertainment center and bar integrates a 40" LCD flat-panel TV, an AM/FM stereo receiver with CD player, a VCR, a DSS receiver, a master distribution center, and Panasonic phones, ensuring seamless comfort and connectivity.

Just forward of the salon, a staircase to starboard leads to the accommodations below, while a dining area to port enjoys the wash of natural light and broad visibility from the main deck’s expansive windows.

Continuing forward, the galley to port faces a built-in dinette. An oversized counter with glass dish storage is framed by a custom divider and accent lighting that subtly separates galley and salon. Maple flooring sets a warm tone for a comprehensive suite of appliances that includes a double sink, Whirlpool dishwasher, KitchenAid refrigerator/freezer with icemaker, Whirlpool 4-burner electric stove, and a convection/microwave oven.

Further forward, the pilothouse is richly finished with maple paneling and flooring. Sliding doors to port and starboard open to the side decks, and this command center provides stairs and a hatch to the flybridge as well as a stairwell to the accommodations below. Here you will find the AC distribution panels, DC distribution panel, DC electronics panel, AC switching panel, duplex outlets, a phone outlet, a searchlight, Track Vision Sat TV, an autopilot, a Navtex NCR 300A with paper readout, and all the appropriate features arrayed on the console. The equipment suite includes a Caterpillar Vision system, Naiad stabilizers, a bow thruster, Garmin GPS Network, Robertson AP300x autopilot with 2X 3010 and 1X 3006, Sea SSB radio and hailer, Datamarine Link sounder, Datamarine Link speed log, a wind speed indicator, Furuno 72 mile radar, a 941 GPS with remote, a Sea 156 VHF, and ACR spotlight control.

Below aft, the master stateroom centers on a queen berth flanked by nightstands with drawers and complemented by built-in dressers to port and starboard. The en suite head features a Jacuzzi tub and Corian countertops. Maple paneling, screened portlights, a walk-in cedar closet, and a built-in loveseat create a serene retreat, enhanced by AC & DC light fixtures, a phone, TV, stereo, VCR, and DDS Sat TV.

Just forward to port, a fifth stateroom/office provides flexibility with built-in cabinets and wiring for fax and computer, plus a proper desk and chair, closet, and upper/lower berths.

Amidships below, the VIP stateroom presents a queen bed with upholstered headboard and storage beneath, nightstands with drawers, and a dresser, all panelled in maple. Screened portlights, a cedar-lined closet, AC & DC light fixtures, duplex outlets, a telephone outlet, an intercom to the master, TV, VCR, and stereo complete the space. Private access leads to the guest head appointed with a Corian countertop and integral sinks, tile flooring, a shower/tub/Jacuzzi with bi-fold door, and a storage cabinet.

All the way forward, the third guest stateroom offers a queen bed with storage beneath, a nightstand, dressers, a cedar-lined closet, stereo speakers and phone, and a private head.

Forward to port, the fourth guest stateroom provides upper/lower berths with storage beneath and a cedar-lined closet. The guest head lies to starboard with a stall shower, a countertop with integral sink, and a storage cabinet beneath.

On the flybridge, a custom radar arch pairs with a molded fiberglass hardtop, while storage resides beneath the console. Stainless grabrails, a tinted acrylic windshield, a well-laid-out console, Stidd helmsman and companion seats, and U-shaped bridge seating define the helm. A custom bar adds an icemaker, fridge, sink, stereo, and light controls. Aft of the flybridge and lounge area, there is dedicated storage for the 13' Boston Whaler Dauntless and a MarQuipt davit.

Deck and hull

A large swim platform with a boarding ladder makes water access effortless, while a MarQuipt 1500 lb. full-rotation davit stands ready for tender handling. Ground tackle is straightforward and reliable with an anchor and line feeding through a deck hawse pipe to a fiberglass bow pulpit fitted with a stainless anchor chute and roller. Dockside water inlets with a pressure-regulating valve keep onboard systems properly supplied when tied up.

Electrical system

Power is robust and flexible with 110/220 volt AC at 50 amps, complemented by two 240‑volt, 50‑amp transformer‑connect retractable shore cords. Ship’s service is backed by two 20 kW Onan generators with approximately 4200 and 4100 hours. Energy storage and delivery are handled by 12‑volt marine batteries with an automatic charger and two 24‑volt banks of heavy‑duty batteries, all overseen by battery control panels with fuses and isolation switches. DC distribution panels with magnetic circuit breakers and a battery condition meter, plus an AC switching panel with voltmeter, ammeter, and frequency meter, put full control at your fingertips. Generator start/stop controls with interlock selector breakers add safety and convenience, while a systems monitor provides visual and audible alerts for engines and gears, bilge water, fire extinguisher discharge, and AC power loss. A TV monitor system keeps watch over the engine room and back deck.

Engine and mechanical

Mechanical systems are specified for confident passagemaking, including Caterpillar engine gauges, a Naiad 37 hp bow thruster off port engine, and Naiad stabilizers to tame the sea. A DC bilge blower, engine block heaters, and a fire control system with automatic and remote manual controls underpin safe operation. Endurance is enhanced by a Sea Recovery 1200 gpd water maker and a pressurized freshwater system with a 40 gallon electric heater, while a sewage holding tank is plumbed for dockside discharge. Propulsion comes from twin freshwater‑cooled Caterpillar engines breathing through exhaust silencers, with two AC ventilation fans aiding airflow. Convenience features include remote start, seawater strainers, an hour meter and water lift muffler, plus a fuel tank selector manifold. Serviceability is built in with an oil change system for mains and gens, duplex fuel filters with water separators, and fuel priming pumps.
