Overview
Timeless 53' Classic Motor Yacht — 1979, United States
Commanding presence, purposeful performance, and enduring craftsmanship define this 53-foot classic motor yacht. Built in 1979 with solid fiberglass construction, she offers the reassuring feel of a true pedigree cruiser—robust, elegant, and designed to travel in comfort. Her generous 16-foot beam yields impressive interior volume and wide, confidence-inspiring side decks, creating a yacht that is as practical underway as she is inviting at anchor.
Step inside to a warm, welcoming salon where large windows flood the space with natural light. The thoughtful 3 stateroom/3 head layout provides genuine separation and privacy for owners and guests alike. An inviting owner’s cabin is paired with two well-appointed guest staterooms, each supported by its own head—an amenity package that makes extended voyages effortless and convivial. Abundant stowage, quality joinery, and a relaxed flow between living spaces make her a natural choice for entertaining, extended cruising, or comfortable liveaboard life.
Underway, twin Detroit Diesel 1271 TIs, rated at 850 hp each, deliver confident power and the unmistakable reliability enthusiasts prize. Inboard diesel propulsion, a purposeful running attitude, and substantial fuel capacity—approximately 1,100 gallons—combine for range, flexibility, and the kind of authority that turns distant shorelines into everyday destinations. A 250-gallon freshwater reserve supports longer stays and independent cruising.
On deck, the expansive aft and foredeck areas invite alfresco dining, sunset toasts, and unhurried morning coffee. The helm offers clear sightlines and a sense of command that complements her seaworthy stance. Fiberglass decks underfoot feel reassuringly solid, while the yacht’s classic profile stands out in any harbor—an elegant silhouette that speaks to both heritage and capability.
Lying in the United States and ready for her next chapter, this is a yacht that blends timeless style with practical, ocean-minded design. Whether envisioned as a refined liveaboard, a dependable coastal cruiser, or a long-weekend escape platform, she delivers the rare combination of space, strength, and soul that defines a true classic motor yacht.
