Frank Laupman of Omega Architects sculpted a poised yet powerful silhouette, recently refining the exterior for a crisp, modern edge. Sleek horizontal motifs extend the perceived length, while uninterrupted bands of tinted glazing along the main and upper decks give Project Frida a striking new presence. A private owners’ veranda forms a secluded retreat, inviting quiet moments outdoors away from the bustle of guests. Sized to balance generous open-air terraces and refined interior lounges for relaxation, conviviality, and life at sea, this tri-deck, long-range cruiser remains compact enough to slip into the most picturesque Mediterranean harbours—an elegant, go-anywhere steel superyacht crafted for true blue-water exploration.

First impression

Project Frida distills the latest features and design innovations into a profile that is both pure and powerful. A distinctive “shark tooth” crowns the overhang of the wheelhouse, an intelligent signature that sharpens her stance and lends undeniable personality. In pursuit of a clean, svelte silhouette, fashion plates have been removed; aft, the superstructure is completely free of pillars, opening uninterrupted ocean vistas. This architectural clarity elevates the indoor–outdoor connection and delivers unsurpassed sea views from virtually every vantage point on board, even when you are seated in the sky lounge. In the restyle, window mullions in the main deck dining area and the sky lounge have been eliminated to forge an even stronger bond with the seascape.

Beneath the waterline, Frida is equally compelling. Her ultra-performing, supremely comfortable Fast Displacement hull, paired with two compact MTU4000 M63 engines (IMO Tier III), drives her to a top speed of 15.5 knots and ensures safe, composed passages in all sea conditions.

Step aboard

Frida welcomes twelve guests in six staterooms, with vast 86 sqm owners’ quarters on the main deck forward, four guest cabins on the lower deck, and a VIP on the bridge deck. This arrangement makes the Heesen 55‑metre class ideal for charter or for Middle Eastern clients who value an abundance of cabins.
