This attention to detail in the superstructure not only enhances the yacht's aesthetic appeal but also contributes to its overall performance and safety, making it a standout choice for those seeking a vessel that combines luxury with reliability.
Engines
This yacht is powered by two Caterpillar engines, model 3406E DITA Electronic, each with 9,500 hours of operation. These engines are A-rated, delivering 450 brake horsepower at 1,800 RPM, and feature a 24V electric start system. They are equipped with lubricating oil filters, dry exhaust manifolds, a 24V alarm system, and a mechanical instrument panel for comprehensive monitoring and control. Notably, both engines underwent a complete rebuild to zero hours as of December 2022, ensuring they are in prime condition for optimal performance.
The propulsion system is complemented by two Twin Disk 5114 reduction gears, or similar, with a 3.50:1 ratio and oil coolers, all engine-mounted. The Twin Disk Quick-shift gear also features a 3.50:1 ratio, providing smooth and efficient power transfer. The yacht is equipped with bronze, 5-blade propellers, with one right-hand and one left-hand configuration, ensuring balanced and effective propulsion.
Engine controls are managed by a Kobelt system, featuring remote control SPA 10590 and remote control plugs, along with a Kobelt electronic system for precise engine management. The hydraulic steering system is also by Kobelt, incorporating steering pumps and rams to deliver responsive and reliable handling.
This sophisticated engine and propulsion setup ensures that the yacht not only performs with power and efficiency but also offers a smooth and controlled sailing experience, making it an exceptional choice for those seeking both performance and reliability on the water.
Ancillary Equipment
The yacht is equipped with a robust array of ancillary equipment designed to enhance maneuverability, stability, and operational efficiency. At the forefront is the bow thruster, a 16-inch American Bow Thruster delivering 65 horsepower. This system is ingeniously driven off the main engine gears with an electric clutch, providing full power even when the main engines are idling, ensuring precise control during docking and tight maneuvers.
For anchoring, the yacht features two Muir hydraulic anchor windlasses on the foredeck, each with vertical capstans and horizontal chain gypsies, as well as two Muir capstans on the aft deck. The anchoring system includes a 285 kg Plough anchor and a 285 kg Poole and Stockless anchor, with anchor chains measuring 328 feet on the starboard side and 426 feet on the port side. Stability at sea is maintained by American Bow Thruster stabilizers, with two pumps, one on each engine, providing a smooth and comfortable ride even in challenging conditions. The yacht's sea chests are a testament to its advanced engineering, featuring two 6-inch pipes in the engine room. These sea chests are equipped with flanged bronze ball valves and removable strainer plates, and they include a blow-down system for maintenance and cleaning. The sea chests are interconnected by a crossover pipe that feeds the entire raw water system, with each chest capable of operating with 50% blockage. All piping from the sea chest is made of CuNi, and each user of raw water has its own finer filter, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
This comprehensive suite of ancillary equipment not only enhances the yacht's functionality but also ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience on the water, making it an ideal choice for discerning yacht enthusiasts.
Fuel Oil System
The fuel oil system of this yacht is a sophisticated setup designed to ensure efficiency and reliability. It comprises a total capacity of 12,500 gallons distributed across five tanks. This includes two main tanks, each holding approximately 4,000 gallons, two forward tanks with capacities of approximately 1,780 and 1,740 gallons respectively, and a day tank with a capacity of around 980 gallons.
The system is organized into four key categories: Transfer, Supply and Return, Fill, and Tank Sounding. The fuel transfer system is particularly versatile, allowing for the movement of fuel between tanks as needed. It features two "Racor" fuel filters, model 75-1000MA, for the main engines, and two "Racor" model 1000 single filters for the generators, ensuring clean fuel supply to all critical components.
An Alfa Laval fuel system, model MIB 303, is installed with a drain to the dirty oil tank. This system is capable of drawing fuel from any tank and transferring it back to the day tank, creating a clean and efficient fuel loop. A unique feature of the Alfa Laval system is its ability to draw from the two main tanks and continuously feed the day tank, which then overflows back to the main tanks, maintaining a clean and cool fuel cycle. The day tank is designed to operate the vessel for over 24 hours, and by refilling it every 12 hours, a minimum of 12 hours of clean fuel is always maintained in the system.
The day tank is strategically positioned above the fuel pumps, ensuring positive pressure on all engines, and is located between the two centerline main fuel tanks. This placement acts as a heat sink, keeping the fuel in the day tank at an optimal temperature. Additionally, there are pump-out and fill points located on the main deck for convenience.
The system also includes oily water tanks with a capacity of 240 gallons, highlighting the yacht's commitment to environmental responsibility and operational efficiency. This comprehensive fuel oil system ensures that the yacht is always ready for extended voyages, providing peace of mind to its operators.
Insulation
The insulation system of this yacht is meticulously designed to ensure optimal thermal and acoustic performance, enhancing comfort and efficiency. In the engine room, a comprehensive approach is taken with the application of one coat of Dumb-dumb, a specialized insulating material. This is complemented by a layer of 1-inch foam combined with a 1 lb/sq. ft. sheet of lead, providing robust soundproofing and thermal insulation. Additionally, a layer of white 30% perforated aluminum sheet is applied, further enhancing the insulation properties. The air stacks are also coated with Dumb-dumb to maintain consistent insulation throughout the engine room. To further minimize noise transmission, a lead sheet is strategically placed in the main saloon above the engine room.
In the superstructure, the cabin sides and overhead are insulated with a layer of 2-inch rock wool, a material known for its excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties. This ensures that the living spaces remain comfortable and quiet, regardless of external conditions. Furthermore, Dumb-dumb is sprayed in the main saloon, adding an extra layer of soundproofing and insulation to this central area of the yacht.
This carefully crafted insulation system not only enhances the yacht's performance but also significantly contributes to the overall onboard experience, providing a serene and comfortable environment for all passengers.

Exclusions
While the yacht is offered with a comprehensive array of features and amenities, it is important to note that the owner's personal items and artwork are excluded from the sale. These personal belongings and pieces of art hold sentimental value and are not part of the transaction. Prospective buyers can rest assured that the yacht will be delivered with all its operational and aesthetic features intact, minus these specific exclusions. This ensures that the new owner can personalize the space to their own taste and preferences, making it truly their own.
Disclosures
It is important to note that this yacht is not available for sale to U.S. residents while it is in U.S. waters. This restriction is in place to comply with specific regulations and ensure adherence to legal requirements. Additionally, the yacht has had its VAT paid, which is a significant advantage for potential buyers, as it simplifies the purchasing process and provides clarity regarding tax obligations. These disclosures are essential for prospective buyers to consider, ensuring a transparent and informed transaction.
