Overview

2014 78’ Italian Motor Yacht

Crafted and lying in Italy, this 78-foot luxury motor yacht encapsulates the effortless elegance and spirited performance for which Mediterranean cruising is famed. Its sleek profile and elongated sheerline announce a yacht designed as much for grand arrivals as for quiet escapes, offering a compelling blend of beauty, comfort, and capability.

The exterior presents generous lounging and entertaining areas that flow naturally from bow sunpads to expansive aft seating, creating a seamless canvas for alfresco living. The GRP deck feels solid underfoot and remains cool in summer heat, while the composite fiberglass construction delivers a smooth, reassuring ride with the low-maintenance practicality discerning owners value. Wide side decks and secure handholds underscore the yacht’s seagoing confidence, making movement on board effortless whether underway or at anchor.

Inside, the salon welcomes with panoramic glazing that floods the space with natural light, drawing the sea into every moment. Refined finishes, tactile materials, and a balanced palette create an atmosphere both contemporary and timeless—equally suited to formal entertaining or relaxed family cruising. Accommodation is arranged to provide restful privacy for owners and guests alike, with en-suite comforts, abundant storage, and thoughtful sound insulation that preserves tranquility throughout the night.

Power comes from twin MAN engines, renowned for their reliability and refined delivery. The result is confident acceleration, quiet cruising, and composed handling that inspire trust at the helm and pleasure for those on deck. Efficient systems integration keeps operation intuitive, while the yacht’s composite build contributes to responsive performance and enduring structural integrity.

Designed for long, lazy lunches at anchor and unhurried passages along sunlit coasts, this 78-footer balances sophistication with the simple joy of being at sea. Whether slipping into a Riviera cove or hosting evening cocktails against an Italian skyline, it elevates every voyage into an occasion—effortless, elegant, and distinctly Mediterranean.

Detailed Description

Mechanical equipments

Power comes from twin MAN engines rated at 2 x 1800 HP, driving Jolly Drive Surface Propellers T-34 with new propellers fitted in 2018. Ship’s power is assured by two ONAN generators: a 22,5 kW, 220 V unit showing approximately 4700 running hours as of 01/09/24, and an 8 kW, 220 V set from 2018 with approximately 800 hours as of 01/09/24. Comfort and stability underway are elevated by two gyroscopic Seakeepers NC9 (2018). The engine room benefits from new thermo-acoustic insulation (2024), an FM-200 fire extinguishing system approved by R.I.N.A (2024), and two reversible CEM 30/2-230M VE (R) ventilators providing inlet/outlet airflow (2024). Confident handling comes courtesy of a hydraulic bow thruster and a hydraulic windlass, while fuel polishing is ensured by Parker Racor 500 MA filters on the generators and Parker Racor 75/1000/MA filters on the main engines.

Audio-visual equipment

Onboard entertainment centers on a KVH TracVision M5 satellite TV antenna, complemented by modern connectivity via a 5G/LTE router paired with an OMNI-414 marine 4x4 MIMO antenna (2024). Seamless, app-driven ambience comes through CONTROL 4, Core 3 (2024), enabling WiFi control of music, televisions, and RGB lighting within the Apple ecosystem. The stereo architecture unites a Denon amplifier MOSCONI with HERTZ salon speakers and tweeters and JL speakers on the main deck (2018), while visuals are delivered by three Samsung TVs (2024).

Communication, navigation & electric

Confident passage-making is delivered by two Furuno NavNet TZT 14” Touch multifunction displays, supported by a Furuno NAVPILOT-711 autopilot, a Furuno GP-330 B GPS sensor, and a Furuno DFF 1 digital fish finder with transducer and speed sensor. Communications are handled by a Furuno FM-4721 VHF radiotelephone with antenna, while situational awareness is enhanced by a Furuno DRS4D radar, an FA-50B CLASS AIS transponder, and a compass with lighting. Precision low-speed maneuvering comes via a Lewmar 300TTH hydraulic bow thruster with joystick at the helm station. For redundancy, a third Furuno NavNet TZT 14” Touch multifunction display is carried as a spare. A trolling system (2018) increases versatility, and a touch-screen boat monitoring system with a 15” display keeps all onboard functions at your fingertips.

Water treatment system

Freshwater autonomy is assured by a Schenker watermaker producing 150 l/h (2018). Sanitary systems have been refreshed with three independent Tecma WC‑Bidet Vacuum Flush units at 230 V, repaired in 2024, and three Tecma Sanisplit NK grey water systems at 24 V (2024). Black water management is handled by a discharge system with automatic/manual electric macerator pump at 24 V (2024). Shoreside convenience comes with a shore water outlet with bypass. Safety is bolstered by a Gianneschi sea water pump for fire extinguishing (2024), while Zazzeri taps and showers with hot/cold systems (2018) and a removable deck carbon shower Elka (2024) elevate daily comfort. A structural GRP freshwater tank with 600-liter capacity provides generous reserves and features a level readout on the PLC monitor. Pressure is maintained by two Gianneschi water pumps System GDE‑MG/3 (24V±230V_50Hz) (2024), distributing through a manifold with valves.

Galley & laundry

Thoughtfully updated for gourmet cruising, the galley features a Bosch induction cooker (2024) and a Bosch combo oven/microwave (2024), paired with a sleek hood with up/down movement (2024) and an efficient extractor (2024). Cold storage is generous with three Vitrifrigo fridges, lt (2018), a Vitrifrigo freezer, lt (2024), and a Vitrifrigo ice maker (2018), complemented by a Bosch wine fridge (2024). Morning rituals are perfected with a KRUPS coffee machine (2024). The workspace gleams with a new Silestone work-top with sink (2024), while two Bosch laundry machines (2018) discreetly handle onboard linens. The ambiance is completed by all salon décor accessories renewed in 2024.

Deck equipment

Anchoring confidence begins with a Trefoil stainless steel AISI 316 anchor of 50 kg (2018), moved by a Jolly Drive Marine hydraulic system, plus a spare anchor at the ready. The ground tackle is completed by a D.12 stainless steel chain of 200 meters (2018) and a Lewmar V6 hydraulic windlass/barbotgine with waterproof deck controls and remote. On deck, a fore Sanguinetti capstan in light alloy with up/down control delivers 2000 W of pulling power, complemented by two stern Sanguinetti capstans in anodized aluminum with up/down control (1000 W). Protection comes from twelve Hippomarine fenders. Visibility and elegance meet in a frontal windscreen of transparent tempered and laminated crystal, served by a single Gallinea windscreen wiper, while the lateral glass and portholes in Europe grey tempered and laminated crystal are paired with ten carbon fiber pillars (2018). Comfort touches include a removable deck carbon shower Elka (2024) and an Opacmare gangway (2018). Aft, a sofa conceals a special locker for three Seabobs and scuba equipment with a portable compressor inside, plus two special side lockers for battery chargers (2018). The versatile aft transformer table integrates an ice maker (2018). Forward, a large locker houses the electric board, flanked by two side life-raft lockers in the bow area (2018). Dockside convenience is finished with a fresh water dock filter.
