Kit Carlier Design 25EXP – Globemaster by Mazarin – German Yachts redefines the modern explorer. The KCD 25 m Explorer ‘Globemaster’ leverages outstanding efficiency and seakeeping on a proven high-speed displacement platform, field-tested across commercial and luxury iterations and validated by robust real‑world data and advanced CFD studies. A chiselled aesthetic, expansive hull glazing, and superyacht proportions create a visually commanding profile. Completely separate decks ensure accommodation below never compromises space above; they deliver over 2150 mm of clear head height without increasing overall vessel height, reducing windage while preserving sleek, purposeful lines.

The broad aft deck invites tailored layouts. In its current arrangement, it offers effortless access to toys housed in two aft lazarettes on deck, which also lead to machinery and engineering spaces below, as well as to the large tender stowed on the aft platform. An electric sun shade deploys from beneath the master cabin’s aft deck to create deep, cool shelter when required, then disappears seamlessly to flood the main deck with natural light. Generous side decks sweep around the main-deck superstructure glazing, providing both Port and Starboard access to the wheelhouse and foredeck. Glass bulwarks preserve uninterrupted sightlines from the main deck, while a forward seating area doubles as a sublime viewing perch and offers direct access to the anchoring systems below. Crowning the wheelhouse hardtop, over 100 m2 of solar panels integrate with a navigation mast to support the full suite of navigation and communication equipment.

On the maindeck, large sliding aft doors reveal an open-plan family space, where extensive glazing delivers a 180-degree panorama and abundant daylight. With 2150 mm of clear head height and an uncluttered plan, the room feels expansive and closely connected to the sea. To port, a large residential galley with plentiful storage and full-size appliances anchors convivial living, while a centrally placed, family-size dining table becomes the social heart. To starboard, a generous lounge faces a large TV on the aft bulkhead. A grand floating staircase rises to the master cabin and wheelhouse and is mirrored above by a hardtop skylight that pours light through both levels. Forward lie the day head, a dedicated laundry space, and a secure panic-room area accessed from one of the guest cabins and via a wheelhouse sole hatch; this space centralises control systems, navigation and communication equipment, and includes an escape hatch through the bottom of the wing deck with direct access to a life raft or escape vessel. To port, a large media room with TV and floor-to-ceiling glazing precedes the main guest cabin with ensuite, also wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass. To starboard, a gym and a twin guest cabin share the same dramatic vertical glazing. The lower-deck crew mess and cabin are reached via starboard stairs, while storage spaces, an additional pantry, and fridge‑freezer capacity are conveniently positioned by the port stairs.

On the upperdeck, the central floating staircase arrives at the master suite and the wheelhouse landing. The master entrance passes a refined office area before opening into a capacious owner’s retreat, where wrap-around glazing grants a 180-degree view and direct access to the aft deck. A private master lounge with TV sits to port, leading to a luxurious master ensuite. The wheelhouse affords 180-degree visibility, with a relaxed seating nook to port that keeps guests close to the action while underway. A chart table occupies the aft bulkhead, and a head to starboard completes the space with quiet functionality.
