Aluminum and material technology: The Lloyd’s Register–certified 5083 aluminum hull is remarkably light and immensely strong, non-flammable, non-absorbent, and up to ten times stiffer than heavier fiberglass counterparts. Intelligent joinery solutions and low-density composite structures ensure a lightweight build and help deliver the lively, efficient performance expected of a modern performance cruiser and expedition sailboat.

Further elevating the Global Exp 68 is its meticulously engineered interior structure. The smart joinery and composite elements reduce weight, enhance rigidity, and optimize sailing dynamics. 1 - Aft Owner’s Suite A sanctuary of space and elegance: a king-size berth, private office, full-height wardrobes, a comfortable sofa, and a beautifully appointed, generous en-suite. Luxury and volume unmatched in its class.

2 - Cockpit and Doghouse The central, center-cockpit layout amplifies aft-suite volume and sits beneath a gracefully designed hardtop for superior protection. The rigid doghouse replaces short-lived canvas dodgers and biminis, eliminating fragile covers. 3 - Engine Room A standout feature: a fully enclosed, stand-up engine room accessed via a watertight door with manual dogs, aluminum watertight bulkheads, and impeccable acoustic and thermal insulation rated to 600°C. Serviceability and reliability at the core of this bluewater sailing yacht.

4 - Raised Salon and Pilothouse Quiet, secure passagemaking in adverse weather. The raised salon enables an integrated pilothouse within the main saloon, offering panoramic sea views plus autopilot controls, navigation electronics, engine levers, and windlass control—all from the comfort of a warm, protected space.

5 - Swing Keel A compact hydraulic lifting keel occupies minimal space along the centerline. With the keel retracted, minimum draft is approximately 1.85 m, protecting the propeller and rudder for confident anchoring and shallow-water entry. With the keel down, the hydraulic system acts as a built-in shock absorber in case of impact—robust, reliable, and designed for offshore sailing.

6 - Electronics Technical Area A purpose-built, ventilated space dedicated to navigation electronics, chargers, and monitoring systems, maintaining ideal conditions for the yacht’s most sensitive equipment—perfect for a long-range cruiser.

7 - Midship Guest Cabins Thanks to the raised salon architecture, the midship guest suites offer cozy, low-motion berths with privileged sea views. Each cabin features a comfortable double bed, folding settee, abundant storage, and a private bathroom. Side portlights and large ocean hatches provide excellent airflow and emergency egress.

8 - Forward Cabin A spacious, refined suite that could easily serve as a master on yachts of this size. Flooded with natural light, it includes a large double berth, settee, extensive storage including a private closet, and a well-sized en-suite. This bow cabin also provides access to the forward Technical Area.

9 - Bow Technical Area A dedicated workshop and tool-stowage zone—an ideal space for onboard maintenance and expedition readiness.

Purposeful rigging enhances handling with both a steering wheel and tiller, supported by a hydraulic winch and an electric winch, plus a spinnaker pole for clean hoists and stable downwind runs. Life on board remains serene thanks to inside equipment that includes a stern thruster, bow thruster, electric bilge pump, manual bilge pump, battery charger, air compressor, air conditioning, heating, hot water, a fresh water maker, sea water pump, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave oven, marine head, electric head, refrigerator, and deep freezer—an enviable inventory that turns long-range cruising into effortless living. Electrical autonomy comes from a shore power inlet, generator, and inverter, ensuring silent nights at anchor and reliable power under way.
