Moonraker - NORSHIP

Crafted at the prestigious Norship Ulstein shipyard in Norway, this establishment is renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and expertise in yacht construction. 

The magnificent “Moonraker” showcases the visionary designs of the acclaimed Mulder Design from the Netherlands, alongside the artistry of Art-Line/Juan Carlos Espinosa, both celebrated figures in the yachting world.

Due to the immense popularity of this model, a total of four yachts from this Norship series were crafted, including the illustrious “Sun Ark,” “Daloli,” and “Impulsive.”

Originally commissioned by the esteemed Mr. John Stalupi, a prominent figure in the yachting community, “Moonraker” was designed as a luxury yacht with the ambition of setting a world speed record for superyachts.  She is powered by her current MTU 16V396 engines, previously enhanced with a gas turbine engine (now removed).  In June 1992, she achieved the title of the fastest mega yacht in the world, reaching an astonishing speed of 66.7 knots.  In 2004, another Mulder-designed motor yacht, “World is Not Enough” (also owned by Mr. Stalupi), surpassed “Moonraker” by hitting a remarkable speed of 67 knots. 

 Estimating the value of “Moonraker” is a challenge, given her rich history and legacy as one of the most iconic yachts globally.  Her unique silhouette and captivating story are widely celebrated across the internet.
