Machinery:

Propulsion is delivered by 2 x DDEC MTU 12V4000M90 engines rated at 2,040 kW (2,735 hp), driving a diesel prop shaft arrangement for robust, efficient performance. Command and control are assured by an electro‑hydraulic, power‑assisted steering system complemented by a hydraulic emergency steering system for ultimate redundancy. Electrical generation is provided by two 54 kW Kilo Pack generators, 50 Hz, supplying a 50 Hz ship’s system with both three‑phase and single‑phase voltage managed by a Selco power management system for seamless generator‑to‑shore switchover, supported by Asea 72 kW 3‑phase shore power converters. Climate comfort is ensured by a Cruisair tempered water air‑conditioning system, with all fan‑coils replaced in 2016 to maintain peak reliability and efficiency.

Communications, navigation & entertainment equipment:

The bridge is equipped for confident passagemaking with an ECS chart plotter in the form of TRANSAS NaviSailor 4000 running on Windows 7 with a dedicated printer, displayed on two 60 cm Eizo monitors and two 54 cm Eizo monitors. Detection and awareness are enhanced by a Furuno X‑Band radar, a ship’s PC installed new in 2015, and a CCTV system covering the engine room with two HD cameras facing forward and aft. Systems oversight is handled by the “Night Watch” yacht monitoring system with a class‑approved 42 cm touch‑screen monitor, while a Furuno BNWAS provides navigational watch with motion detection.
