Detailed Description

Electronics

An integrated Garmin suite anchors the helm with a Garmin 5212 chartplotter/GPS featuring a vivid 12-inch color display, complemented by a second 5212 screen at the helm for effortless redundancy and split-screen versatility. Awareness and precision come courtesy of a Garmin GMR18 4 kW radar with an 18-inch dome, a Garmin depth sounder, a Garmin VHF 200 NEMA 2000 set, and the Garmin GPH10 autopilot, all framed by a trusted Ritchie compass. Command is confident with a Lewmar bow thruster, Lenco trim tabs and Yamaha digital engine instrumentation, while a hard-wired horn ensures you are heard when it matters. Entertainment flows through a Sirius radio receiver with marine antenna and a 15-inch HD TV operating on 12 V/120 V paired to a Clarion Marine CD/DVD/MP3 player, with DVD and audio neatly routed to the chart displays and the Clarion sound system. For four-season comfort, a Webasto Airtop 3500 diesel furnace without tank delivers warmth through three outlets. Night passages are clean and compliant with navigation lights in red/green and a white anchor light.

Generator/mechanical systems

Long‑range independence is assured by a 110 V Panda 4.2 kW diesel generator fed by a dedicated 15‑gallon diesel fuel tank, while precise low‑speed control comes courtesy of a Lewmar bow thruster and smooth Teleflex power steering. Ground tackle handling is streamlined by a Rode anchor windlass system, and onboard power management is supported by a Charles 5000 SP Series 40 A battery charger. Daily comfort and reliability are elevated by a SeaLand VacuFlush head, a SHURflo water system pump, and a marine water heater with 6 gallons of hot water at the ready.

Galley

The galley is thoughtfully equipped for effortless meal prep, with a sink supplying hot and cold water, a GE 120 V microwave and a practical single‑burner stovetop for quick, satisfying cooking. Cold storage is handled by an Isotherm refrigerator, and for downtime at anchor or over coffee, a Majestic TV brings entertainment within easy reach.

Ground tackle, deck equipment & exterior options

Fresh cosmetic confidence arrives with new bottom paint in 2021, a complete buff and wax in 2021, and engines serviced in 2021. On deck, a sleek hard top railing complements a black three‑piece drop curtain for adaptable weather protection, while anglers benefit from a Jabsco Cyclone low‑pressure livewell and eight stainless steel rod holders. Anchoring is authoritative with a Delta stainless steel plow anchor at 25 lbs working through a Lewmar Pro‑Series 1000 anchor windlass, backed by 50 feet of galvanized steel chain and a nylon rode exceeding 100 feet. Daily utility is enhanced by a cockpit bench with integrated storage, a 30 A shorepower cord for reliable dockside connection, and a full complement of fenders and lines.

Manufacturer provided description

For yacht‑caliber comfort in a manageable footprint, the OS 315 delivers with an enclosed helm, an integral hardtop and a vented windshield that combine to provide unobstructed visibility, optimal weather protection and all‑day comfort. Generous companion seating in the helm area keeps the captain in good company whether at the wheel or relaxing alongside at the dock. A spacious cockpit with a plush cushioned stern seat invites effortless entertaining or unhurried lounging in the sun at a secluded anchorage, with a 38‑gallon insulated cooler thoughtfully built into the base of the stern seat for instant access. Anglers will appreciate a 32‑gallon recirculating livewell, tackle drawers and storage sized to swallow a cast‑net bucket in the helm companionway, and a conveniently placed hatch granting instant access to ceiling‑mounted rod storage in the mid‑cabin berth. The mid‑cabin berth also provides cabinet storage and a quiet retreat where children can nap or guests can sleep comfortably overnight, while the forward V‑berth converts easily to an expansive dinette for shared meals. The galley simplifies life aboard with a single‑burner stove, a Corian countertop, a stainless steel refrigerator, a sink with hot and cold pressurized water, a microwave and ample cabinet storage. The head compartment elevates daily rituals with a stylish glass‑vessel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, a vanity mirror, a Vacu Flush head, a towel bar and a handy shower sprayer. With a 284‑gallon fuel capacity, the OS 315 offers the range to chase blue water, explore lakes or hop out to the islands; the only challenge is deciding where to point the bow.
