Pursuit Boats, based in Fort Pierce, Florida, and part of the Tiara Yacht family from Holland, Michigan, has a legacy of producing premium center console, dual console, and offshore cabin fishing and multi-purpose boats. The SC365i remains true to this heritage, powered by twin Yamaha F350 counter-rotating, 5.4 L, 350 horsepower, four-stroke outboard engines. Yet, intriguingly, there are no visible outboards on the transom. This is the essence of the "i" in the model's name, signifying "integrated." The outboards are seamlessly incorporated into the deep 20° deadrise hull design, hidden from view.

Why opt for outboards, you might wonder? Pursuit's design choice enhances the cockpit and interior space, offering a 41'2" LOA vessel with a 12'6" beam that provides significantly more interior room than similarly sized yachts with inboards or sterndrives. Additionally, the performance and efficiency benefits of outboards are impressive.

Capturing the essence of this revolutionary yacht in a brief review is challenging, but here are the highlights. Like all new Pursuit models, the SC 365i features an infused fiberglass structural molded finish grid system, forming the boat's backbone. The Yamaha outboards are mounted on a 5-ply resin-infused composite transom system with a patented transom reinforcement grid. The entire deck and cockpit liner is a single, one-piece molded unit.

A full-width molded swim platform with a boarding ladder behind the enclosed motors offers convenient water access, with a port side entry leading to the cockpit. A starboard side lounge transitions into a transom lounge seat, creating L-shaped cockpit seating. A standard cockpit stainless steel-fronted refrigerator is located just ahead of the starboard lounger. On the port side, aft of the U-shaped passenger helm lounge, is a molded entertainment center with a sink, faucet, and standard electric grill. A custom molded cockpit table with teak accents and dedicated storage is also standard.

The yacht features a single-piece, laminated, bonded windshield system for unobstructed forward visibility, integrated with a molded fiberglass hardtop complete with a full-width opening sunroof. The custom, fully adjustable helm chair ensures all-day comfort for the driver, facing a practical helm console layout that opens fully for maintenance or installation access. A center molded acrylic screened door provides access from the cockpit to the cabin below, offering ample headroom. The entire cabin is fiberglass-lined for easy maintenance and structural integrity, with solid wood floors covering the fiberglass.

An electrically adjustable solid wood forward V-berth table converts into a forward queen-sized island bed. The portside galley boasts Corian® countertops, a stainless sink, refrigerator, convection microwave, two-burner glass top stove, and ample upper and lower cupboards. The fiberglass-enclosed starboard side head compartment features a Corian® countertop, "designer" glass sink, integral shower, and a full-height storage cabinet.

For a yacht of this size, the mid-cabin surprises with its full-size, solid wood entry door and stand-up headroom, along with a full-beam bed with an inner-sprung mattress, storage, and a hanging locker. Cabin entertainment is provided by a Pursuit entertainment center with a 26" LED Apple smart TV, iCloud account, iPad, 12v stereo with internet radio, speakers (8 total, 4 in the cockpit, 4 in the cabin), subwoofer in the cockpit, and Bluetooth remote. Reverse cycle heat and air conditioning are standard in the cabin, with an optional second unit for the cockpit. An 8kw Panda diesel generator is also standard equipment.

Notable optional features include a recessed foredeck sun pad with an adjustable headrest, bow thruster, shore power cable reel, Garmin electronics packages including radar, chart plotter, GPS, VHF, Simrad auto-pilot, and upgraded Yamaha® digital electronic engine management gauges and interfaces.
