Overview
A timeless expression of mid-century craftsmanship, this 45-foot 1960 classic wooden motor yacht invites you to slow the pace and savor the journey. Hand-built in an era when elegance and seaworthiness were inseparable, her warm wood decks and gracefully proportioned profile deliver the sort of presence that turns heads in any harbor. Currently lying in the United States, she is ready to charm a new steward who appreciates authenticity, character, and the quiet confidence of a true classic.
With a generous 13-foot beam, the yacht offers the rare combination of intimate, old-world atmosphere and genuinely comfortable volume. Step aboard and you’re greeted by rich, beautifully grained joinery and a welcoming salon that encourages long, unhurried conversations. Practicality shines through in the thoughtful layout: a well-arranged galley for effortless days on the water, abundant cabinetry for extended cruising, and a bright, inviting head that serves the accommodations with classic nautical simplicity.
Underway, twin Cummins inboard diesels provide the dependable power that discerning mariners prize—smooth, surefooted performance with the reassuring character of proven diesel engineering. A deep, confidence-inspiring draft and solid wooden hull translate to an exceptionally composed ride, tracking true in a seaway and rewarding a steady hand at the helm. With approximately 450 gallons of fuel onboard, she’s set for unhurried coastal passages and weekend explorations, while roughly 100 gallons of fresh water support comfortable overnighting at anchor.
It’s the details, however, that make her unforgettable: the glow of hand-finished woodwork, the harmony of traditional lines, and the sense of heritage that comes only from a vessel crafted to stand the test of time. This is a yacht for the collector who wants a living piece of nautical history, for the cruiser drawn to the romance of wooden yachts, and for the aesthete who understands that true luxury is found in authenticity, quiet moments, and the gentle cadence of a well-balanced hull moving through the water.
Poised for elegant afternoons along the coast or an extended sojourn in a favorite harbor, this 1960 wooden motor yacht offers an invitation to cruise with grace. Step aboard and rediscover why classics endure—because beauty and substance never go out of style.
