Overview
SAL is a luxury motor yacht conceived to elevate liveability to its pinnacle, unveiling fresh innovations inside and out that reframe volume and deliver a completely new sense of space. Her exterior, by the acclaimed Zuccon International Project studio, distills rigorous stylistic research into perfectly balanced lines and harmonised volumes, while the interior by Patricia Urquiola interprets each area through a lens of transformability, bringing her distinctive vision aboard. This Sanlorenzo SD90 semi-displacement superyacht hosts 6 guests in 3 cabins. The full-beam Owner’s suite occupies the main deck forward, two elegant VIP staterooms are positioned amidships on the lower deck, and a dedicated family room with private bathroom can be converted into a twin or a double cabin with an additional Pullman berth. All accommodations are ensuite. Comfort is assured by stabilisers both underway and at zero speed, enhancing the serene experience at anchor and on passage, while a shallow draft opens access to tranquil coves and shallow harbours alike. Throughout, sustainable design principles prevail, with ecological materials thoughtfully deployed across the yacht, and the adaptable lower deck salon’s seamless conversion into a fully private ensuite cabin underscores the versatile layout and contemporary ethos of this refined motor yacht.
Detailed Description
Audio & visual equipment
A ceiling-mounted, electrically deployed television serves the salon, mirrored by an additional ceiling-mounted, electrically deployed television in the VIP cabin for effortless, at‑the‑touch viewing throughout. Entertainment is anchored by the Diamond audio/video package, distinct from the Silver standard configuration, delivering a richer and more immersive onboard media experience.
Machinery
Power is delivered by twin MAN i6 engines, each rated at 800 hp (D2676LE423), providing poised performance with refined responsiveness. As of August 2026, engine hours stand at 1,417 on the port side and 1,420 on the starboard.
Generators & auxiliary equipment
Power on board is assured by twin Kohler generators—one 35 kW unit and one 28 kW unit—showing, as of August 2026, 3,029 hours on the port set and 3,035 hours on the starboard. A dedicated 12 V 25 A charger optimally maintains the generator batteries. Shore power management is streamlined by a Glendinning CM7 Cablemaster serving a 50/63 A shore socket, with a single shore connection provided. Practical convenience continues topside with additional waterproof 220 V outlets, one discreetly positioned within the fly bar cabinet and one at the fly helm station with USB integration.
Ancillary equipment
A comprehensive suite of ancillary systems elevates comfort and control, featuring Dometic air conditioning rated at 150,000 BTU/h, bow and stern thrusters for precise maneuvering, stabilizers for both underway and zero-speed operation, a dependable water pressure pump, and thorough bilge management with automatic, electric, and manual pumps.
Safety and security equipment
A comprehensive suite of safety and security features underscores the yacht’s vigilant design, including an advanced electronic fire system; a Panasonic IP CCTV system with DVR featuring one fixed camera in the cockpit and one pan-and-tilt unit in the engine room; and an additional 12" touchscreen monitor for the ship monitoring system in the crew mess.
Communication equipment
Seamless connectivity is assured with a VHF radio for reliable ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore contact, complemented by a KVH TV8 TV-sat antenna delivering robust satellite television reception. A matching KVH TV8 empty radome is installed to preserve aesthetic symmetry and provide future-ready capacity for additional equipment.
Navigation equipment
Navigate with confidence thanks to a Simrad autopilot paired with a network of four Simrad chartplotters, a precision compass, a depth sounder, and a dedicated display, all complemented by electronic engine control. Positioning and awareness are assured by a Simrad GPS and Simrad radar, while a log, odometer, and rudder angle indicator provide clear, continuous feedback to complete the helm suite.
Deck equipment
A comprehensive suite of deck equipment delivers effortless handling and refined comfort, beginning with two anchors managed by an electric windlass with an electric foot switch and an anchor chain washdown, while bow winches and stern winches streamline line control. Movement and access are made easy by the gangway, a generous platform with a swimming ladder, and a refreshing deck shower. The teak cockpit and teak side decks elevate the ambiance, complemented by twin steering for precise control, practical saddles for the tender, and a directional spotlight for pinpoint illumination. After dark, four underwater LED lights—two on the aft transom and two on the aft hull sides—create a striking glow and enhance safety around the waterline.
Galley and domestic equipment
Designed for convivial cooking and effortless service, this yacht features Teppan yaki on the fly bar for both the stove and the oven/microwave, forming an elegant open‑air culinary station. A Vitrifrigo IM Classic icemaker, moved to the galley from the pantry, ensures a constant supply of ice, while a wine cooler by Miele or Iandel Webasto accommodates 23 bottles to keep your vintages at the ideal temperature.
