Overview

Built in Italy in 2012 and shaped by the unmistakable hand of Sanlorenzo, this striking 104-foot Motor Yacht embodies the poise, pace, and polish that define the finest Italian motor yachts. A sleek GRP/fiberglass construction and a 23-foot beam gift her with elegant lines and a generous footprint, while a draft just over 7 feet opens doors to coveted bays and chic island anchorages. Twin MTU diesel engines deliver spirited performance with a confident 25-knot cruise and an exhilarating 29-knot top speed, ensuring swift passages between Mediterranean havens and effortless days of bluewater bliss.

Inside, the ambiance is pure Italian sophistication, curated by Francesco Paszkowski with refined materials, sculptural forms, and a natural flow that draws the eye to panoramic horizons. Sun-drenched lounges and sociable salons blur the line between indoors and out, from the inviting aft terrace to spacious foredeck relaxation zones designed for lingering lunches and golden-hour aperitivi. Practicality quietly underpins the allure: substantial tankage—approximately 3,302 gallons of fuel and 740 gallons of fresh water—supports extended cruising, while dedicated crew quarters help ensure discreet, attentive service. Lying in Italy and radiating contemporary allure, this 2012 Sanlorenzo stands out in the luxury Motor Yacht class as a rare blend of velocity, volume, and Italian artistry—equally at home hosting glamorous soirées at anchor or carving a graceful wake along the Riviera.

Detailed Description

Detailed description

This Sanlorenzo SL 104, hull number 579, is a sleek motor yacht launched in 2012 with exterior and interior by Francesco Paszkowski, presented under the Malta flag and distinguished by RINA classification with the five-year survey and renewal of class completed in 2020. Built with a GRP hull and superstructure and laid with teak decks, she carries a gross tonnage of 199 and a net tonnage of 59, with an approximate displacement of 125 tons. Her profile is purposeful and poised, and her capabilities are equally compelling: twin MTU 16V 2000 M 93 diesel engines, each delivering 1,812 kW (2,430 Hp) at 2,300 rpm, drive her to a maximum speed of 29.00 knots, with an effortless cruising speed of 25.00 knots and an economical speed of 10.00 knots that yields a range of 1,400 nm, consuming just 80 litres/hour (21 US gallons) at that pace. Dimensions are finely judged for performance and comfort, with an LOA of 31.70 m / 104' 0", a beam of 7.05 m / 23' 2", and a maximum draft of 2.15 m / 7' 1". She welcomes eight guests in four cabins and is attended by up to six crew accommodated in three cabins, supported by generous tankage of 12,500 litres / 3,302 US gallons of fuel, 2,800 litres / 740 US gallons of fresh water, 630 litres / 166 US gallons of grey water, and 800 litres / 211 US gallons of black water. The yacht carries MMSI number 249000627.

Inside, a contemporary ambiance unfolds in high-gloss light grey and off-white lacquer, balanced by a warm parquet floor and bathed in natural light from expansive side windows. On the main deck, a spacious master suite lies forward, accessed from the starboard side of the salon. It features a queen-size bed oriented aft, a walk-in wardrobe, and a generous bathroom, all flooded with excellent light through three large windows. The lower deck houses a large forward VIP with a queen-size bed and en-suite facilities, complemented by two substantial double cabins aft, each with a queen-size bed and en-suite amenities. Further aft, a large galley with a crew mess links to three crew cabins for six crew. Above, the expansive flybridge, reached from either the aft deck or the wheelhouse, is centred on a large Boffi kitchen top and perfectly complemented by exclusive modern Paola Lenti furniture for refined open-air living.

Mechanically, the yacht is thoroughly specified and meticulously maintained. Engine hours stand at Port: 3,630 hours as of 08th May 2024 and Starboard: 2,392 hours as of 08th May 2024. Power generation comes from two 40 kW (54 Hp) Kohler diesel generators, with hours recorded at Port: 9,200 hours as of 07th May 2024 and Starboard: 9,600 hours as of 07th May 2024. At-anchor comfort is ensured by CMC Marine fin stabilisation, while onboard climate control is delivered by a Condaria system rated at 240,000 BTU. Freshwater independence is underpinned by an Idromar water maker producing 230 litres/hour with a UV filter. Manoeuvrability is enhanced by BCS hydraulic bow and stern thrusters. Electrical architecture includes a three-phase 400V supply with a 45kVA isolation transformer. Battery arrays are comprehensive: services are powered by twenty-four Gel 330A/12V batteries supplying signaling and low-power circuits; main engine startup uses four Gel 210A/12V DC batteries; generator startup is via four 75A/12V batteries; and the MTU power supply is supported by four Gel 120A/12V DC batteries.

Navigation is anchored by a Raymarine Platinum configuration with two magnetic compasses, two multifunction 6150 monitors serving radar duties, an ST70 automatic pilot control panel, Navionics Charts Platinum-273XL for chart plotting, a Raymarine GPS ECRO, and Raymarine TR:DATA wind instruments. On deck, ground tackle is formidable, with two 136 kg anchors each served by 120 m of chain, managed by two Lofrans 4.000 W anchor windlasses and two Lofrans 2.500 W aft capstans. Boarding and bathing are made effortless by a Bezenzoni hydraulic passerelle and a suite of electro-hydraulic amenities including a gangway step, swim ladder, concealed shower, garage hatch, and systems for tender and jet ski haulage and launch. All exterior furniture is by Paola Lenti, underscoring the yacht’s contemporary aesthetic. The guest tender is a 4.45 m Williams Jet Tenders Limited Textron 850, ideal for swift transfers and watersports.

A diligent refit and maintenance regime underpins the yacht’s immaculate condition. In 2020, technical specialists completed a comprehensive inspection of the shaftlines, cutlass bearings, P-brackets, and overall shaftline arrangement, along with a grounding survey and corrosion assessment. Electrical integrity was validated through a megger test and re-tightening of all terminals, followed by a thermografic inspection of all electrical sub-panels and hot spots, and the programming and update of the monitoring system. The stabilisation system benefited from a CMC Marine upgrade. The tender received a complete new engine installation at zero hours, supplied with a twelve-month warranty. That same year, the yacht successfully passed the RINA five-year survey with renewal of class completed. In 2019, the onboard network was renewed with a complete replacement of access points in all areas, a new switch, and a new network controller. Propulsion health was assured with a shaft line assessment, galvanic corrosion assessment, hot spots electric assessment, PLC works for the monitoring systems, detailed shaft line inspections before and after removal and installation, and vibration analysis in the shafts. Interior upkeep included the replacement of all interior carpets in the crew area, while exterior care saw the addition of new covers for exterior furniture. The HVAC system received significant attention with inspection and maintenance of 23 air handlers and fresh air make-up units, including cleaning filters, checking drains for blockages, and testing water valves, followed by checks of all electrical connections and testing of control pads. Both chill water and sea water pumps were removed, stripped, and fitted with new seal kits and impellers.

Key ownership advantages are clear: VAT paid status, immaculate maintenance, and private use to date paired with excellent charter potential. An interior refit and mechanical upgrade in 2020 crown a specification that blends Italian design pedigree, robust engineering, and long-range, high-speed capability into a singularly compelling SL 104.
