Refit

This 35' Scopinich underwent a comprehensive refit beginning in 2022, elevating her to modern, turnkey specification. Power comes from new FPT 6.7‑liter 550 hp engines under a 2‑year factory warranty, driving through new prop shafts and bearings with fresh Tides shaft seal assemblies and new rudder bearing seals. A new Northern Lights 6 kW generator supports upgraded onboard systems, while new Garmin suites at both helm and tower enhance navigation and fishfinding. The yacht received a complete Awlgrip paint job from top to bottom, including the engine room, and a new light bar crowns the hardtop. Comfort and safety were advanced with a new Bluewater Canvas enclosure, new soft goods, a new hot water heater, a new fire suppression system, all‑new plumbing, and all‑new engine‑room wiring. A new head system, new salon AC, and new helm AC further refine the experience. Entertainment is delivered by a new JL Audio system with two amplifiers and subwoofers, and the ambiance is set by Lumitec color‑changing underwater lights, under‑gunwale lighting, and engine‑room lighting, all orchestrated by a Poco light controller. Practical upgrades include remote battery switches with parallel capability and pre‑wiring for 24V LP.

Layout

Step through the centerline companionway into “NUTS AND BOLTS” and descend three wooden steps to a bright, well‑appointed cabin. To starboard lies the head with shower, opposite an inviting L‑shaped dinette to port with a wood table. Forward of the head to starboard, the galley serves the salon efficiently, while the V‑berth in the bow comfortably sleeps two. Thoughtful details include rod storage above the forward berth, overhead LED lighting, an overhead hatch for natural light and ventilation, a dedicated storage cabinet, and the timeless warmth of teak‑and‑holly flooring.

Electronics

At the helm, a new Garmin 7612 xsv anchors a capable suite that includes a Simrad autopilot, an ICOM IC‑M412 VHF, a Fusion Bluetooth stereo, a Ritchie compass, Lenco trim tab controls, and single‑lever Panish controls for precise throttle and shift. Up on the tower, a new Garmin 741 xs and an ICOM IC‑M324 join duplicated controls, keeping the captain fully in command from either station.

Galley

Positioned forward of the head to starboard, the galley is smartly outfitted with a Samsung microwave, a Nova Kool refrigerator, Corian solid‑surface countertops, and abundant cabinet and drawer storage to stow provisions with ease.

Head

The wet head features a Corian solid‑surface countertop with sink, a new Raritan toilet, a handsome wood grate sole, and a dedicated storage cabinet—clean, practical, and easy to maintain underway.

Additional information

Helm ergonomics are elevated by a teak helm pod and a teak helm deck, while teak cover boards frame the cockpit in classic sportfisher style. Fishing assets abound: a tuna door in the cockpit, an in‑deck fish box, a Pompanette launcher with four holders, spreader lights, Rupp riggers with a center rigger, and Reel Colors teaser reels. Practical details include 12‑volt LP plugs, new cushions throughout, and—complementing the refit—a new helm AC.
