Detailed Description
2003 Sunseeker 82 yacht
The 82' Sunseeker Yacht welcomes up to eight guests in four beautifully appointed staterooms, with an expansive full-beam Master Suite and a gracious VIP Stateroom complemented by two additional guest cabins—one arranged with twin beds and the other with bunks—each thoughtfully designed for comfort and style. Every cabin is finished to an exceptional standard with rich materials, elegant detailing, generous storage, and en-suite facilities where specified; the starboard guest cabin enjoys its own en-suite, while the port guest cabin has shared head access. Dedicated crew quarters with two cabins are discreetly positioned aft to ensure privacy and seamless service, and the interior helm seat is fully electric, upholstered in premium white leather to underscore the yacht’s purposeful sophistication. Throughout, cherry wood finishes, cream carpeting, and cream leather upholstery create a warm, contemporary atmosphere of understated luxury.
On deck, full teak decking runs bow to stern. Wide side decks make movement safe and effortless, and the forward lounge—complete with a bench and a sunpad—beckons for sunbathing by day and sunset views by evening. The expansive flybridge sets the stage for effortless entertaining, offering a BBQ, a wet bar, and a large dining area; a secondary helm station with remote engine and thruster controls affords commanding visibility and precise handling for confident docking and close-quarters maneuvering.
The main salon exudes timeless elegance, with plush seating, a coffee table, and a formal dining area for eight. Comfort is assured by full air conditioning, while large side windows with blinds bathe the space in natural light or provide privacy at a touch. A dedicated drinks cabinet holds glassware for eight, stainless steel-framed sliding glass doors open to the aft cockpit, and halogen lighting with double AC sockets is thoughtfully distributed throughout. An entertainment system and telephone points complete the salon’s refined amenities.
Purpose-built for extended cruising, the well-appointed galley provides a refrigerator, freezer, and AC ice maker, with an optional American-style fridge/freezer combo available for additional capacity. Culinary preparation is effortless on the 4‑ring ceramic hob, with a microwave/oven and dishwasher simplifying service and cleanup; a stainless steel sink with hot and cold water stands alongside abundant storage in cupboards, drawers, and slide-out racks. Safety is elevated with fire safety equipment and a first aid kit close at hand.
The Master Grand Suite spans the full beam aft and is a private sanctuary, featuring a king-size berth with storage below, a walk-in wardrobe, a dressing table, and a settee. Climate and ambiance are refined by air conditioning and soft lighting, while a 42" flat-screen TV with surround sound elevates in-cabin entertainment. The private en-suite is appointed with a granite vanity, twin basins, a large shower, and a Tecma toilet. Forward, the VIP Stateroom offers a queen berth with storage beneath, a dressing table and wardrobe, air conditioning, an entertainment system, and a private en-suite head with shower. The starboard guest cabin provides twin berths and its own en-suite, while the port guest cabin offers twin bunks with shared head access; both guest cabins include air conditioning, reading lights, wardrobes, and premium finishes.
Aft and separate for discretion, the crew area includes two cabins—one twin and one single—a shared head with shower, useful storage, and air conditioning, ensuring professional, unobtrusive service during every voyage.
Performance and reliability come from twin Caterpillar C30 engines rated at 1,550 HP each, showing approximately 3,100 hours, turning 5‑blade bronze propellers on stainless steel shafts. Maneuverability is assured with 30 HP hydraulic bow and stern thrusters and hydraulic trim tabs, while automatic fire suppression and bilge systems provide confident safety underway. Power at anchor and under way is supported by dual 23 kW Kohler generators with approximately 4,100 and 4,400 hours respectively.
Electrical and navigation systems are comprehensive, with 24V and 12V DC electrical systems protected by full circuit protection, battery chargers, immersion heaters, and AC sockets distributed throughout. Dual helm stations are equipped with radar/chartplotter, autopilot, depth and speed displays, VHF, and a compass, complemented by hydraulic power steering, trim tab controls, and full analog engine instrumentation for precise, intuitive command.
Elevating the onboard aesthetic, interior finishes include high-gloss cherry wood cabinetry, cream carpeting, and leather upholstery, while polished granite countertops and flooring enrich the heads. Elegant lighting throughout completes a yacht whose design, equipment, and craftsmanship epitomize Sunseeker’s signature blend of performance and poise.
