Detailed Description

Other details

Crafted with purpose, the construction marries strength with refinement: a hand-laid GRP hull finished in a flawless gel coat with crisp stripes, protected by a vinylester skin coat reinforced with a powderbound mat. Beneath, a stitched multi-axial reinforced single-skin bottom delivers rigidity and poise, while balsa-cored hull topsides and a PVC foam-cored deck and superstructure keep weight optimized without compromising integrity. The hull is comprehensively stiffened by longitudinal stringers supported by transverse bulkheads and floors, yielding a solid, confidence-inspiring ride.

On deck, every touchpoint is engineered in stainless steel, from fittings and the eight stainless steel deck cleats to the pulpit and cockpit rails. A stainless steel fendering with rubber insert protects the sheer, complemented by a curved safety glass windscreen for clear sightlines. At the bow, a stainless steel roller with anchor stop leads a stainless steel bow plate, working with a Delta anchor and 60m galvanised chain, powered by an electric winch and capstan with both deck and interior helm controls for effortless operation. Practicality extends to a chain locker with dedicated fender storage and a fender tie bar beneath the anchor locker lid, plus fore deck coach-roof storage lockers, port and starboard fuel fillers, and a fresh water filler. IMCO navigation lights and two pantograph windscreen wipers with washers ensure visibility, while a tender garage and an ensign staff with socket complete the ensemble.

The aft cockpit is a self-draining haven finished with teak-laid decking, secured by a stern safety door and animated by cockpit speakers with a CD remote. Upholstered seating wraps around a cockpit table opposite a large stern sunbather, with lockers neatly concealed beneath the seating. After dusk, overhead 24v cockpit lights pair with low-level 24v courtesy lights to set the mood. Access is thoughtful and direct via an engine room hatch and stairs to the sport bridge, with a boat hook close at hand.

Inside, the deck saloon is arranged for sociable living, featuring a separate dining area with table and generous stowage beneath the seats. Entertainment is cinematic, with a 55” television on a fall-and-rise system and a Blu-ray/DVD/CD cinema sound system, joined by AirPort Express for seamless connectivity. A drinks cupboard, overhead halogen lighting, LED, 24v, and a stainless steel sliding door to the cockpit set an elegant tone, supported by a main control panel for AC and DC systems, generator controls, full air conditioning, three double AC sockets, and wood flooring. A curated choice of interior finishes and veneers and scatter cushions refine the atmosphere.

The master aft stateroom offers a restorative retreat with a double berth, ample cupboard and drawer stowage, bedside drawers, and a walk-in wardrobe. Illumination comes from two 24v reading lights and overhead LED 24v lights, while two large windows with opening portholes, mosquito screens, and blinds frame the water. Practicalities include two double AC sockets, a door to the shower room, fitted carpet, a settee, comprehensive air conditioning, a 32” television, and a Blu-ray/DVD/CD player with speakers.

Forward, the stateroom mirrors this calm with a double berth and storage beneath, a drawer in the base end, and two 24v reading lights. Outboard shelving and cupboards, overhead bedside cupboards, and hanging wardrobes with a mirrored panel deliver abundant stowage, complemented by overhead LED 24v lights. Natural light and ventilation flow through two opening portholes with mosquito screens and portlight blinds, a deck hatch with blind and mosquito screen, and a skylight. The specification includes two double AC sockets, a door to the shower room, fitted carpet, air conditioning, a 32” television, and a Blu-ray/DVD/CD player with speakers.

The forward en suite shower room is crisply appointed with a washbasin, quality taps and accessories, and a hot and cold water supply. A separate shower compartment and an electric toilet ensure comfort, supported by an extractor fan, a mirrored vanity unit, and a shelved cupboard. Thoughtful details abound, including a toothbrush and glass holder, soap dispenser, towel ring with towels, overhead lights, and an opening porthole with mosquito screen and blind, alongside a razor socket rated 240/110v.

For guests, the starboard cabin features two single berths with under-berth storage, two 24v reading lights, a hanging wardrobe, and overhead LED 24v lighting. An opening porthole with mosquito screen and blinds, a double AC socket, fitted carpet, air conditioning, a 22” television, and a Blu-ray/DVD/CD player with speakers complete the suite.

The galley is designed for gourmet ease, with a sink and drainer, a three-ring ceramic touch-control hob with extractor fan, an electric refrigerator and electric freezer, and a microwave convection oven. Hot and cold water, a rubbish bin, and well-planned cupboard and drawer storage keep service smooth, while an eight-place crockery set, an eight-place cutlery set, and two double AC sockets cover entertaining. Safety is served by a hand-held fire extinguisher and a first aid kit, all set over durable wood flooring.

At the interior helm console, twin helm seats front a navigational command center with a chart area, hydraulic power steering, and a leather-rimmed steering wheel. Readouts are comprehensive, from analogue engine instrumentation and a chart plotter with GPS to a radar open scanner, autopilot, and speed and depth instrumentation. Communications and control are assured with a VHF radio with DSC, a rudder indicator, water and fuel tank gauges, trim tab controls, and single-lever electronic engine controls. A magnetic compass, a waterproof 12v plug and socket, a horn, windscreen wipers and washers, glass holders, and a hand-held fire extinguisher round out the helm.

Electrical systems are engineered for quiet capability, led by a 19kW 50Hz generator with underwater silent exhaust and a sound shield. Shore services include an AC dockside connection and a galvanic isolator. Onboard power management features 24v and 12v DC systems with full circuit breaker protection, eight engine batteries on the 24v circuit, four domestic batteries on the 24v circuit, and two generator batteries on the 12v circuit, all supported by an alternator split charging system and remote battery switches controlled from a cockpit locker. Dedicated chargers for both 24v and 12v circuits, a water heater, AC electrical sockets throughout the boat, and a 24v hand light with cable deliver robust autonomy.

The engine compartment is comprehensively specified: full soundproofing; fuel filters and water separators serving both engines and generators; automatic bilge and flood pumps with high-level alarms; and generator exhaust silencers with water separators. Engine exhausts feature dry risers with water injection, while strainers protect all raw water inlets. Control systems include power steering with hydraulic control, hydraulic control units for the garage door and trim tabs, and a hydraulic control unit for the lifting platform. Safety systems are equally thorough, with air intakes fitted with automatically operated emergency shutdown flaps, AC air extraction fans fitted with butterfly shutdown dampers, an exhaust gas temperature sensor, fluorescent AC lighting, and an engine room fire extinguishing system using FM200. Convenience and readiness are ensured by one AC 220v socket, one 24v socket, a portable CO2 fire extinguisher, and an inspection lamp.
