The crew head is fitted with a Tecma toilet 24 V, sink, hot and cold water, an opening porthole with mosquito screen and Venetian blind, and a shower.

Engine area

Beneath the surface, the engine room is comprehensively soundproofed and engineered for reliability, with separate fuel filters fitted with water alarms and a fuel tank monitored by an electric sender unit. Protection is paramount with an automatic FM200 fire extinguishing system that triggers engine, generator and fan shutdown, supported by both an automatic bilge and flood pump and a manual bilge pump. Ventilation is assured by two AC extractor fans, while a 24 V hydraulic pump powers the trim tabs, gangway and garage door. Steering remains precise through hydraulic power assistance from an engine‑driven pump.

Electrical system

Electrical architecture is truly global, with USA specification only providing two KOHLER slow‑speed generators rated at 28 kW at 60 Hz, each with underwater silent exhaust and housed in a sound box. Shoreside connectivity includes a dockside AC connection via one 100‑amp Glendinning Cablemaster with galvanic isolator. On board, 24 V and 12 V DC systems run through full circuit‑breaker protection, fed by eight engine batteries on the 24 V circuit and six domestic batteries on the 12 V circuit, supported by an alternator split‑charging system and remote battery switches controlled from a cockpit locker. Charging is robust with a 95‑amp charger for 24 V circuits and a 40‑amp charger for 12 V circuits. Hot water is abundant via a 200‑liter calorifier with two 2 kW immersion heaters, while AC sockets are distributed throughout the boat, and a 24 V hand‑held light with cable is ready for duty. The air horn is upgraded to twin Kahlenburg for a commanding signal.

Underwater gear

Below the waterline, seawater strainers protect the intakes—two serving the main engines and one the generator—while seacocks are fitted to all underwater fittings. Corrosion protection is thorough with a full cathodic bonding system and zinc anodes. Manoeuvrability is assured by hydraulic bow and stern thrusters rated at 30 hp, complemented by 24 V hydraulic trim tabs. The hull benefits from durable antifouling.

Construction

Systems integration is meticulous: a 24 V hydraulic pump powers the trim tabs, gangway and garage door, while hydraulic power steering is driven from an engine‑mounted pump. Onboard sanitation is by Tecma toilets 24 V with one‑switch control incorporating tank level indication, discharging either overboard or to a black water tank. The black wastewater tank can discharge to dockside or overboard via a 24 V macerator pump. Fresh‑water capacity is monitored by a sending unit, and a 24 V fresh‑water pressure system feeds the ship. Domestic hot water is maintained by a 200‑liter calorifier with two 2 kW immersion heaters and a hot‑water circulation loop. Grey effluent from washbasins, showers and air‑conditioning fan units drains to a grey water sump with 24 V overboard discharge. Climate is perfected by a chilled‑water air‑conditioning system with reverse cycle. For security underway, each watertight compartment carries an automatic bilge and flood pump.
