Overview
ANNAMIA is a striking, fully equipped gentleman’s motor yacht, delivered in 2007 by Terranova Yachts in Italy. Styled by Barracuda Yacht Design, her generous 7.14 m beam—about a metre wider than many yachts of comparable length—translates into noticeably greater interior volume and abundant stowage, ideal for a luxury yacht and long‑range cruiser.
She welcomes up to 8 guests and provides quarters for 2 crew. Constructed with a GRP hull and superstructure, ANNAMIA is powered by twin MAN engines for a top speed of 15.5 knots. With 8,100 litres of fuel, she boasts a range of 2,000+ nautical miles and the ability to operate for days without using the generator—perfect for an explorer yacht or flybridge motor yacht itinerary.
Under her second owner—who has invested over €700,000—ANNAMIA has been meticulously maintained for reliability and refined performance, presenting a timeless superyacht with the poise and presence of a true gentleman’s yacht.
Detailed Description
Key points
Fully loaded and impeccably specified, this true gentleman’s yacht reflects the care of an experienced owner who has invested wisely in comfort, autonomy and control. Thoughtful upgrades include a Dockmate remote docking system among many other smart enhancements, backed by an extensive refit history with € 700'000 invested encompassing major mechanical, electrical and hotel-services improvements, including a new generator and much more. Energy independence is underpinned by a 35 kW Victron battery bank paired with 9 x 380V solar panels, delivering silent endurance and low‑impact cruising. Comfortable, reliable and comprehensively modernized, she is ready to cast off for her next adventure.
Refit history
In 2019 the yacht underwent a significant program that included a new INOX exhaust system, an extension of the hull with a flotation box, and an extension of the keel with a bilge keel/skeg for roll damping, all executed under the supervision of Barracuda Yacht Design and Naval Architect Mr. Ingo Toledo. Protective coatings were renewed with Coppercoat antifouling, and energy systems were upgraded with a 35 kW Victron battery bank plus 9 x 380V solar panels. Critical machinery received attention with 2 NEW MAN seawater pumps, while safety and tenders were refreshed with a NEW life raft for 8 pax and a NEW AB tender with 70 PS that was subsequently stolen in Siracusa, prompting the purchase of 2 NEW lightweight ZAR MINI tenders in Siracusa. Redundancy was enhanced with emergency hand‑operated gear and throttle for the main engines. Habitability improvements included a crew cabin upgrade from four to one bed (supervised by Inigo Toledo), replacement of all aircon hoses, three additional portholes to ventilate the dining room, and improved ventilation of the bridge‑deck toilet by replacing the window and adding a porthole. All lighting was converted to LED, a spare rudder piston was placed on board, and a dedicated toolbox was installed in the lazarette.
In 2020, driveline refinement brought NEW damper plates/clutch at 1,700 engine hours, the galley received a NEW refrigerator and oven, and freshwater capacity was secured with NEW INOX fresh water tanks. Steering and bilge systems were renewed with NEW rudder pumps (2 pieces), NEW bilge pumps, NEW emergency bilge pumps and NEW shower sump pumps, while deck readiness was elevated with NEW mooring lines and fenders, a NEW dinghy and a NEW 20 hp Suzuki auto start outboard. Seventeen portholes were dismantled, polished, fitted with NEW seals and reinstalled. Ground tackle saw the extension of 2 anchor chains from 90 to 120 meters. The Victron system was upgraded with correctly sized larger‑diameter wiring, proper fusing and a clean installation, plus 2 buck‑boost converters, followed by a full system reset and adjustment.
In 2021, protection and serviceability advanced with NEW mesh covers and a suite of NEW pumps for fresh water, black water and wastewater designed for rapid swap‑out instead of lengthy servicing, with coverage across fresh water, black water, gray water and diesel systems. Support inventory grew with NEW pump service kits, NEW aircon spare parts, NEW toilet spare parts and tons of additional spares on board.
In 2022, reliability and stabilization were elevated with a NEW fresh water expansion tank, a complete stabilizer overhaul (€ 19'000), and a NEW 35 kW generator on the STB side (€ 60'000). NEW stabilizer hydraulic lines were run from the tank to the power take‑offs, and redundancy at the helm was strengthened with a NEW second autopilot. Performance and protection were enhanced with PropSpeed applied to prop, rudder and shafts. The stabilizers underwent a dedicated sea trial with modified codes to account for the extended bilge keel and skeg.
In 2023, propulsion and hotel systems received comprehensive attention: a NEW 2000 h main engine service, NEW injection nozzles (16 pieces), a turbo retrofit and a heat exchanger refit, alongside a full service to the generator set. Climate comfort was ensured through aircon maintenance, a NEW aircon expansion tank and 3 NEW aircon fan coils. Autonomy grew with a NEW water maker, safety and finish improved with NEW INOX handrails on the upper deck, and reliability increased with NEW hydraulic lines from the power take‑off to the stabilizer solenoid (port and STB). Control at close quarters was refined with a NEW Dockmate, and safety was further reinforced with a NEW second life raft.
